I love simple barbers that are no bs and just cut your hair. I don't need fancy product or a seminar on how you completed barber school. Just cut my hair, do it well, and be entertaining. Scott, the patron, fit all those requirements. Came in 30 minutes before closing on a friday and saw he had one customer already. He said of course I can fit in a new customer. While waiting for my turn I could tell that Scott and his customer had a great relationship. Seems like they've known each other for years and joked about a lot of things. Then a lady and her kid walked in and Scott immediately asked if this kid was the son of a guy he used to work with 25 years ago. How impressive is that?? He continually impressed me with his memory and knowledge. The haircut was great and very impressive for a first attempt. The location is very nice too. No doubt that I will be coming back to Scott regularly for my haircut. Did I mention that he massages your neck with some sort of vibrating machine?? It felt wonderful.

I asked if they specialized in high and tights, was told yes by the lady who picked up. Guess the owners were obsessed with James Dean, odd. Shop was clean, nobody in the shop other than Thomas. Sat down, Thomas began cutting me up. My hair wasn't that long and complex, pretty much has to cut was was grown over 2 weeks from previous barber. NOPE. he proceeded to give me an undercut on one side and attempted a fade on the other. You can tell when you get an inexperienced barber when they're talking to themselves while cutting you up. Thank god the haircut was $16 for whatever this is. I tipped cause I always do. But stay far away from these barbers. Pretty sure sports clips would of given me a better cut and closer to what I asked for than this!

The shop was decorated with metal tile on the ceiling, and the light fixtures appear to be old whiskey barrels, which was kind of cool. I just got a regular haircut, but know they offer other services, beard grooming, straight razor shave, etc. One aspect I particularly enjoyed, they didn't try to upsell me on any products, which has not been my experience elsewhere. Only 2 I have been cut by actually have listened and it funny they are Sister In Laws. Tianna is also a great stylist at Sport Clips and does a great job. It great to know I have someone I can finally go to on a regular and if she isn't available I have a back up option in Tianna. But Devyn is my #1 option for when I go now! Owner Mike was friendly and showed us around the facility, it will be great when they get the humidor stocked with cigars and the outdoor patio.
