My granddaughter who is 8, loved the splash pad & the younger kids playground. The park is not gated and is adjacent to a walking path. Be careful if you have a little runner. The splash pad has a high water bucket dumping water in different directions. There was only one working water spout for the little kids when we came and the frog sprays water but you have to click the yellow button on the blue pole to make it work once it turns off. The older kids playground she loved the round rope swings but did get rope scrapes on back of both legs from swinging on them so be careful. Next time will use a towel under her legs. The big net play structure is fun if you want to just climb around but to get to the slides there is a big gap between the net structures that you have to go past in order to work your way across the rope bridge then to the slide. She was disappointed she couldn't get over to slides as a big gap she couldn't reach other side safely. Really wish there were rope stairs going straight up to slide area so kids can play on slide that can't do rope structure. The younger kids playground was nice. Multiple climbing structures that included a slide, rope hammock, a turning swing type activity. Parking is along the street only. Park has Drinking fountains and clean bathrooms. There are two picnic table areas. One down by the playgrounds and another by the splash pad.

There's plenty of room to expand, so hopefully they can add additional amenities moving forward. Plenty of adjacent street parking in the community. Recommended.

There were signs posted at the picnic area, and someone came around to collect trash twice during our reservation, which was great because we had a lot of it. We also put our son in the OV Rec'ing Crew this summer and he LOVED it. It was our first summer camp experience and it reminded me of when I was a kid and went to Rec Camp! Very simple, nothing wild, but the field trips seem well-executed, and the leaders were friendly young adults. We'll be back next summer for sure!

The playground has a swing set, a small play structure which for them was perfect and a sports court! They have a Little Free Library that we'll be bringing some children's books to encourage reading for the little ones our next visit, since they currently have just 1 children's book! Lastly they have a rocks garden, "Kindness Rocks" for the kids to do some rock hunting and then return with their own painted rocks to add to the garden! We will be coming back to drop off some rocks we collected at work with her friends after we paint them! I would definitely recommend visiting this park with your family, we had a blast and will be back probably once a week!

What an incredible playground it was, she had a blast playing with all the many kids, she even did some chalk on their sidewalk with them! They even have a Little Library, my first time seeing one with calendars, we picked out a cat one of course! We'll have to return to replenish it with some books since they didn't have children's books inside. I would recommend visiting this park, make sure to use the restroom beforehand tho since they don't have one. I like that they have swings for all ages and a sand pit with a water faucet. There is also a nice fielded area to walk around or bring a pet to. My son really liked going under the structure and playing with the spinning tic tac toe. The structure is a little outdated, so I'm excited for the new one. I just hope it's toddler friendly. There is only street parking, so remember that. Also, there was some graffiti and more trash at this park, but hopefully that gets cleaned up.

If you just need some space to place your mats down, it should be just fine. Incredible trails alongside the water for walking, jogging, and bike riding. Dogs are welcome but just make sure you pick up after them (I noticed a good number of dog poop near the water edge). Want to take a dip? Feel free! Quite cold but more than welcome to. Biggest reason why we came here? To see how the Kayak Rental system worked. Scan the QR code or visit the site to book your rentals and sign waivers. I was told they rented daily by a worker (young ones) but their online reservations just show weekends and random Wednesdays.. so good luck. Honestly Rental prices are higher than another spot we've been to, but this spot was much closer to home and easier to access. Price for convenience! We didn't go kayaking on this particular day but definitely plan to return with our own paddle board/Kayaks since it just makes sense to invest and go whenever we want versus rent a few kayaks with high rental feels. Who wants to return within 1 hr?! No way, you gotta stay out in the midst of nature for at LEAST a few hours! Pathway Tip: Walking or jogging? Stay on your left. Biking? Stay on your right. Nothing super exciting in this review, just one of those peaceful days you appreciate more as you get older lol. Now fair warning... that water is COLD cold when you first step in but once you're out there it's worth it. Even the ducks were just cruising around being friendly and minding their business. Sometimes you don't need much, just a board, some fresh air, and a little quiet.
