My mom grabbed a few candles and brought them up to the counter. She had a few questions about the Vuse Vibe E-Cig that was previously recalled and he rudely answered her that it was never recalled and there's nothing wrong with them. They were, in fact, recalled, because they sent her a letter to mail them in and refunded her for them. She has been wanting to find one just like it and noticed the Vibes, so she wanted one. He grabbed it and rang it up along with the candles without saying anything else or asking her if she had any other questions. I went over to look at the CBD oil as she was doing this and could very clearly hear their interaction. I then walked back to the counter to look at vapes and vape pens and had a few questions, as I was looking to get another Subvod vape and wanted to know if the pens would be anything like it. He replied that the pens used cartridges and wouldn't be what I was looking for, and gave me no recommendations for what else I could use. He went to the back, so I went to look at the actual vapes, and noticed that there was a brand similar to my Subvod, so I asked if the store sells this brand. He was bent over putting cigarettes packs on display and didn't even look up at me, just, very rudely, responded no, and offered me no help or assistance to find one that I might be interested in. I was going to ask about this brand, and had more questions about the CBD oils and juices, but at this point I felt very frustrated and like my mom and I were a burden for being in there and asking questions about these products, so we left without spending anything else. I would not recommend this store, the Smoke N Vape shop in Owatonna MN, to anyone and will never come here again. This is the worst I've ever been treated as a customer at any smoke shop or store.

There is an enclosed "adult DVD" section that's away from the rest of the store (I didn't visit and I can't comment on it). There is a separate male and female restroom that doubles as a dressing room - the women's bathroom was spacious and very, very clean. You can find a wide variety of items here. Most of the lower floor is going to be what most people expect when going to an adult store. There's bondage stuff, adult toys, adult books, and lots of lingerie. There were also giant inflatable pool toys and glass parapanelia for tobacco products. The upstairs ia bit more confusing. They sell a lot of clothing and swimsuits upstairs. A lot of the clothing is legitimate clothing - like sweatshirts and tank tops. Most of the clothing style tends to fall under what I'd call "biker" style. A lot of skulls and crossbones, motorcycle references, and things like that. It's not really what I expected to find in an adult store at all. Well-lit and safe-feeling store that doesn't feel shady in the slightest. Doesn't have the largest selection of adult products, and it doesn't feel like a particularly sex-positive type of place (with well-trained staff, etc.), but it doesn't feel bad at all, and if you want to explore adult things solo or with a partner, it's roomy, clean, and leads to a good experience. (Disclosure: The store has a sign that says they request no photography. I assume this is because they want to protect patron's privacy. I was very careful to avoid showing any customers or staff, but I DID want to do photos to show that this is a well-lit, comfortable place to shop.)
