I love stopping in for an excellent cup of coffee and a heartwarming chat with Devin and Alicia when they're behind the counter. You can see that their love story has been carried throughout their business and that they enjoy sharing it with the community. Cute name - Adorable decor - Instagram photo op - Great service - Good hours - Despite there being a coffee shop on every other corner, this little place is its own vibe. It can take some doing to post up in the little window seating but the view of the street for some good people watching is worth it. If you get to sit on the soft dusky rose couch ensconced in the rose awning in the back for some coffee and contemplation, even better, depending on your mood. The first time I went in, only the couch was available. The couple in front of me ordered to go. While I was ordering my items to stay, they doubled back and sat on the couch. The owner immediately stepped in and asked them to "Slide Over" so I could eat and drink. I loved that I didn't have "fend for myself". That one moment made me a loyal customer. This shop is always happening, love their seasonal specials, and my go-to Americano. Their food offerings are also pretty rad. Many people seem to think the owner who works behind the counter is rude based on other reviews, but I've never felt that. People need to remember it's one person doing everything most days, and when it's not, it's two. Both are owners, and both work really hard, so maybe stop being entitled and calm down? If you want quick, go to Starbucks, but if you want GOOD, be a bae. The pink vibes and overall ambiance makes this a chill spot for every day of the week, rain, shine, or snow. 10 out of 10 every time. read more

This place is great. I often get a mocha at cafes I visit and have to always ask "can you make it half or less sweetened please?" But this place already makes a high cocoa content Mocha so it's dialed in perfectly for folks not looking for a sugar bomb. The owners seem like wonderful people. Decided to try this new place even though I was in the neighborhood for an Intelligentsia coffee. Super cute decor and the pastries looked delicious, though we didn't have any because we'd just eaten. The service was very friendly and our lattes were made with care. I don't think the espresso has the same smooth richness as Intelligentsia. There's a slight bitterness to it. I still enjoyed it, but I wouldn't choose it over Intelligentsia. read more

My new favorite coffee spot. Walk in to a beautiful esthetic of orange, gold and pink! You will instantly feel like you've been transported into a Vintage Hollywood set. The menu isn't very large but that doesn't mean that the options aren't big and bold in flavor. The only thing cuter than the blushing lattea is the couple who runs this fine establishment! The cutest coffee shop!! I stopped in for their Valentines Day specials and was super impressed. The service was amazing, and there's SO many photo ops within the cafe. i ordered a cold brew and the barista rudely scoffed and me. and then i was like "oh is that okay?" and he said "yeah it's just that you clearly know nothing about coffee or how to run a small business. you have no idea how grueling a task it is to go make you a cold brew. first i have to grind up coffee grounds, then put them in a carafe, then let it steep over night! how do you expect me to do all that for you right now, just because you feel like it? you think i'm just gonna stand here and let you boss me around? i am so tired. you don't know how monotonous it is to stand here and take orders all day. i put all my time and energy into curating a very specific vibe for this place, and you come in here, and just tear it to shreds because you can't think about anyone other than yourself and your bullshit cold brew. i'm not making you a god damn cold brew!" so then i just left read more

I have taken a break from writing reviews but was inspired to come back after a recent horrific experience. I contacted the shop directly via email but have been ignored, so I'm making my complaint public. I want to check in with the gentleman who was working Friday, June 10th. Bro- are you OK? You need help. I stopped in for a coffee Friday morning. The sun was shining and wanted a celebratory beverage to get the weekend started. I wanted ti try out and support a new, local business. There was an older couple sitting chatting with the barista who seemed friendly enough. The woman made mention that she was the artist whose art was displayed in the shop. Cute place. I ordered a lavender latte, oat milk, iced. I was asked the size and I said 20 oz. He repeated everything back to me correctly and I agreed and paid. He then proceeds to hand me a 12 oz. I politely asked "is that 20 oz?" He said "no it's 12." "Well, I ordered 20. I paid about $9." (purely making mention of the price because it seemed accurate for the size I asked for). "Well I only charged you for the 12 oz." Okay...and? He then proceeds to repeat back everything I ordered as if I am demanding more than I asked for and am willing to pay for. I don't care what the price is. I asked for what I asked for and was happy to pay whatever the price was. He's the one who inputted it incorrectly into his register and is now unwilling to admit that. Why is admitting to a simple mistake so difficult? I'm stunned at how we got here. He then prints out the receipt and slams it on the counter as if he's proving a point to me. The only point he's proving is that he rang up the wrong size. What a vile display. I asked why he was being so aggressive, I'm no longer interested in a 20 oz and I will just take the 12 oz (what he mistakenly charged me for) and I'll never come back. He shoots back, "well you obviously care if you brought it up." Why can't I politely bring up a mistake that he made? A mistake I didn't even make a big deal about. He then refuses -several times- to give me the 12 oz and demands that I wait while he make me a 20 oz. "I don't want the 20 ounce. Give me the 12 oz." How many times do I have to say that? I just want to get the hell out of there. He's violently slamming things around while I have to watch him- completely humiliated and frankly terrified. I nearly walked out without anything but understand his goal was to intimidate me out of the establishment. Horrific experience. Bad vibes. Putrid, toxic masculinity - the absolutely antithesis of the intended purpose with their cutesy decor and millennial-inspired name. Will never go back and will tell everyone I know to avoid this hellhole. I was willing to forgive if I had received a response from owners/management but like I said before- my concerns went unanswered. I can only assume either that guy is the owner/management or this behavior is totally acceptable to them. I'll patronize Starbucks next time. They're corporate union-busters, but at least I know I won't be treated like trash. Don't these people know that coffee isn't a mandatory expense? Wild. read more

He always goes out of his way to answer any espresso questions I can come up with and clearly puts a lot of care into every drink he makes.
