We had a good time there and enjoyed ourselves right up until it was time to pay. the waitress decided to tell us about how much better their butter chicken was then the Mango Tree's, and how customers tell them all the time that its better, and apparently even Mango Tree's owners came in and were told by customers that they liked A&T's butter chicken better (a bit of a far fetched tale, and unprofessional). I went back last night because they were doing a comedy show and a friend of ours was one of the comedians. We were completely ignored for about 35 minutes at our table (I know it was busy, but the tables on either side of us were being served at least somewhat). We went to the bar and requested service to our table when she had a chance, and we were still ignored for about an hour following that, except for when she came up to us saying 'is this the table that ordered pineapple?' and we said no and she fled before we could request drinks. Our friends at a different table also got Thai bites that they didn't order served to them. I don't think I'll be returning.

DH had the Traditional Pub burger and fries. He reported the burger as good, but the fries were a disappointment. According to the menu they were hand cut, which usually means a very tasty fry. This time around though they allowed me to swap out the fries for mashed potatoes and gravy and boy was it worth it! So delicious. Potatoes were very creamy with no lumps! And the chicken tenders were piled high! Wonderfully crisp and full of flavour! And my wife loved her Rigatoni! If this was our first go around, I would have given them a 4 but I'm only giving 3 stars because of the mixed results, and limited menu. I do believe they are heading in a good direction though. The sides were nice as well, warm bread to start was delicious. Left full and happy! Waiter was professional, the seating clean and comfortable. The only negative was the decor and ambiance, but that's a personal taste. I found it lacking on intimate atmosphere with plenty of flat, dark wood surfaces to keep it sterile. We also ate quite late which meant it was likely much quieter than normal...a bonus from the perspective of us middle aged people that don't necessarily enjoy crowded restaurants. Our meal arrived after waiting for some time (to be expected with 5 larger plates). This is where things fell apart. The first thing I noticed is a smell. It was a really bad smell. It smelled like a dirty wash rag, that had been sitting wet for some time, but a hint of ammonia from soap? I was trying to locate the smell, but i was one person away from my boy with the lobster.
