They were friendly and also available to answer questions while we explored their store. They had a great supply of just about anything you could think of for a gift and souvenir shop, as seen in pictures. I did not capture every angle of the store, so there is much more to see in person. I happily bought numerous stickers, a shirt, shot glass, and huckleberry chocolates. All at reasonable prices! The gift shop is located down the hall on the left hand side and part of 'Newberry Square', a wonderful conglomerate of independent businesses sharing a common hall. My children are in elementary school (10, 9 and 7 years old), and that can be a difficult age to work with. However, they managed to move my kids through their separate eye exams quickly and efficiently (we were done within the hour). While their offices weren't as kid friendly as other places I've visited, they did have a small basket of blocks that kept my children entertained while we waited (which wasn't very long). Their offices are basic and comfortable without any frills. I was also happy to have found Dr. Reed as I had a difficult time locating an optometrist that accepts Medicaid. Even though his establishment is in Lewiston, his business still gladly took our WA medicaid without making us feel uncomfortable or self conscious.
