Wow wow wow! I have NEVER been treated so wonderfully by a salon in my life, and I'm no spring chicken! Got my hair cut and styled last night; it wasn't quite what I wanted; I was brave - called and spoke with Sheila, the owner, and she got me in first thing this morning with Lindsey (her daughter) to shape it up. IT IS FANTASTIC! SO PRETTY! I have long, wavy hair and wanted some layers - not always the easiest request. Lindsey not only gave me EXACTLY what I was looking for, she treated me super kindly and attentively - I felt really pampered and not at all embarrassed to have been so 'picky'. Ladies - if you don't love what you get the first time give any salon (but especially this one) a second chance. tl;dr stylist was impolite and did not do what I asked I made a 9AM appt, got there about 5mins early. I was greeted well and told that the stylist would call me back when she's ready. At about 7 after, the lady who was chatting at the front desk since I walked in said I could go with her. She then said "well let's go get your hair wet." I was a bit surprised, and asked her whether she needed to know what I wanted before she decided what the plan was, and went to show her my reference images (the photos/videos were of me, thin curly hair, basically a shag cut; tone of layers all the way up the back and sides). She said that she cuts all hair wet, so we went to wet my hair. The only question she asked me about my hair or what I wanted in the entire haircut was if the length she cut it was ok. She ushered me out at the end without drying my hair, and without a mirror to see the back of it. When I got home I wet it, did my normal routine, and discovered that the back is just a blunt bob, and the front has a few layers going up abut 2.5 inches. Again, my references show layers all the way up almost to my crown and I showed her the back in 2 reference videos. To be fair, the haircut is cute! Twice booked appointments with a hairdresser recommended by a friend. Each time salon called me, on day of appointment, to say there was a glitch in the system and they had double booked. Receptionist offered to get me in at a different time with a different stylist. First of all, shame on them taking a stylist's customers away and booking them with another stylist. Second of all I explained that I worked during the day and could not come in at that time. Never tried to get into that salon again. (Don't understand how they stay in business.) read more

I arrived ten minutes early for my 10:00 am appointment. I was told by a front desk person that she would tell my stylist I was there. About twenty minutes later, a different person came up to tell me my stylist was not there and would not be arriving for awhile. She lied about having tried to contact me earlier in the day, and she lied about not having my correct number in their system. I have been getting my hair cut here for about 8 years, so this was a very odd statement. I asked why I wasn't told earlier, and the lady asked me to repeat myself. She did this again a second time, then a third. When I spoke louder, she gave me a rotten look and said, "Well." I later received a text message from my stylist saying she did not appreciate that I yelled at their staff. The odd thing about this message is not that I was accused of something that did not happen; the odd thing is the mere fact that my stylist sent me a text message after the lady lied to me earlier about not having my correct number in their system. It was obviously someone lying to try and smooth things over, but she never needed to lie. I was fine and would have come back at a different time, I understand things happen. But when the lady lied, and lied again, i was quite surprised. To then be texted at the number they claimed not to have was astonishing. Basically, a lady at this salon lied to me about a simple mix-up, then lied about me, an almost decade-long customer. read more

Make sure you are early for ALL of your appointments. The salon double books all of their appointments, so they do 2 people at the same time. If you are a few minutes late, they will not see you! I will not be going back. read more

I would rate the quality of work they have done on my hair but unfortunately I have not even made it past the first step of booking an appointment. Every time I have called, a lady named Sandy answers and not only does she sound very hostile and bored over the phone but she is never very willing to be helpful or accommodating. It got to the point where I was afraid to call the salon because every time I talk to her it seems as if I'm putting her out and inconveniencing her. I know there are super nice stylists there but this woman alone made me just give up trying and instead take my business elsewhere. read more

Very happy with my cut and color. Came in with damaged hair from a stylist a few months back. Even know it's going to take awhile for my hair to look like it used to "Tabitha " made my hair look damaged free . Salon is nice and all the stylist are very friendly. Finally found a fantastic salon in Hendersonville I'd give this visit 6/5 stars if I could! Lauren P. was everything you could ask for and more! I needed a trim and my eyebrows waxed, and she got me in on the exact day and time that I requested. I wasn't sure how much I wanted to take off, so she offered to cut a little off first and then let me decide if I wanted to trim it further. This was greatly appreciated since I was pretty indecisive at the time. We ended up trimming it a little more and I LOVE IT!! Usually when I get an inch or 2 off no one notices, but I've already gotten so many compliments! My previous haircut was at Great Clips so my layers and bangs around my face needed some serious work. She blended everything flawlessly and even gave me some tips on how to keep my ends going the way I want them to whenever I style it myself in the future. The appointment overall was very conversational and never awkward, which was also a big plus in my books! Lastly, we went to wax the brows, which always causes me the most anxiety. I hate getting my eyebrows waxed for so many reasons. It's usually sooo painful and I end up tensing up, which makes it even worse and then come the red bumps afterwards. BUT.... it didn't hurt at all, she didn't take too much, and NO RED BUMPS! I did tell her I had sensitive skin but usually at that point I still get the bumps anyways, but this time not even one! New to Nashville and drove 30 miles to get my haircut and I get there and my stylist is an hour behind on a color. I understand that you fall behind but you should at least call your next person to let them know. That is why I leave my number. I had an appointment and was no showed without being extended the courtesy of being called in advance about this. Frustrating, yes, with a prime opportunity for the salon to recover from this snafu until Jordan intervened in the apology process with a condescending and hateful tone, not to mention unnecessary, making me out to be the bad guy in this. She failed to understand that I showed up for my appointment early and I was the one no showed. After calling the salon manager the following day, I see now where Jordan's lack of customer service stems from. Shelia, the salon manager, was the complete and total antithesis of good service. She is in dire need of basic customer service skills training and business management. I will never return here because of these two unprofessional individuals. With service like this, the future of this salon will hopefully be short lived and there's no one to blame but themselves. read more
