We went on a Saturday at lunchtime at 12pm. Nice restaurant, lovely setting. Ordered two Oxenburgers (at $15 each) which took about 15 minutes to arrive, although there weren't many people there. While we were waiting I thought it was interesting that I couldn't feel any food cooking smells or cooking noises (pots clanging, sizzling grills etc.)
Then we heard the unmistakeable beep sounds of a microwave and then we were shortly presented with our burgers... $15 for a pre-cooked and then microwaved burger patty is disgusting... Not even sure its good food hygiene to reheat burgers or maybe its just that I, as a consumer, expected it to be freshly cooked for that price...
When i was ordering I thought it was odd that the burger was served with chips (not fries).
The other items on the menu were platters, croissants etc. They should stick to those and forget the burgers as they obviously don't do any fresh cooking on site.
Very disappointing for the food, I believe the wine is nice though.... read more
