My son had been suffering from a severe toothache that was waking him up at night, and we were…read moredesperate to get him seen as soon as possible. This dental office was gracious enough to give us an appointment that same week on a Saturday, which was such a relief. What I thought might be simple cavities turned out to require two root canals. To make matters more stressful, I had forgotten that my son was no longer covered under my insurance -- so he had no insurance at all. Dental work without insurance can be extremely expensive, but the office never treated us any differently. They were kind, understanding, and professional throughout the entire process. They helped me complete an application with Cherry, a company that offers payment plans for medical and wellness services. Thank God I was approved, because it truly made all the difference. I was there all day, but the staff made sure I was comfortable, kept me updated on my son's progress, and clearly communicated when he would be finished. There truly are not enough good things I can say about this office. It means so much when people go the extra mile to make sure you're okay during a stressful situation. I'm beyond grateful for the care, compassion, and professionalism we received. Highly recommend. Alicia Leroy

This office told my mother the Dr. Mathur is an oral surgeon. This is inaccurate. When we arrived…read moreat the office, I asked about his designation and was told a few times that he does oral surgery. I continued to press and insisted on knowing if he is a licensed oral surgeon or a licensed dentist who happens to do extractions. I was finally told that he is a dentist who used to be an oral surgeon in India. The office needs to clearly represent their personnel. My mother needs all her teeth pulled and was very clear that she preferred the services of an oral surgeon. Dr. Mathur was not respectful of her choice. He lectured her and was clearly annoyed that she wouldn't allow him to perform her procedure. He then proceeded to call me in the room and was very dismissive of my mom. He talked to her like she was stupid and kept addressing me and insisting it would be best to allow his office to do the extractions. Mom and I both made it very clear that what she needed from him were X-rays only. He was very condescending throughout the rest of the appointment. It didn't sit well with either of us that mom was initially led to believe that she was meeting an oral surgeon. We left with the X-rays and she will shop around for a more professional and straightforward dentist to make her dentures. Also, this office does not look clean. It is very run down. This is concerning as hygiene is important especially where medical and dental procedures are concerned.

They do everything in office, are friendly and accommodating, and our dentures fit like a glove and look beautiful. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough about Dr Yefim A. I found him after a serious fall while walking with my son…read more I tripped on some broken concrete and fell on my face with my teeth taking the brunt of the fall since I had bags in my hands. Er said teeth were intact but see your dentist. My dentist couldn't examine the teeth because of my swelling but X-ray looked good. A week later I had awful pain and my 2 front teeth were discolored and cracked at the gum line. I was crushed. My teeth were beautiful and part of my identity. My dentist referred me to a root canal specialist and just the root canals were going to exhaust my insurance and I need crowns. I found Dr. Yefim on a search and God definitely was looking out for me. 2 painless root canals and antibiotics. A week later prep for the crowns with a temporary inserted. 2 weeks later 2 crowns put in. My teeth have never looked more beautiful. Polished to perfection and color match was on point. With only a small balance to pay. I've gotten ton of compliments. I am so happy and my broken heart mended. I will definitely be returning for my cleaning and check up.

Top notch dentist and the best dental hygienist in the world! I got dentures from Dr. A, and all I…read morecan say it was pretty seemless (for the most point). It did take awhile and because of my insurance I had the bottom done first (the kind that's "glued" in, then got my uppers this year. (The removable kind). I understand what I was told so a little puzzled as to why I had to come back more than a few times to get them. But when they were done everything fit well. The only problem was with the top dentures. I start bringing my tongue up and "chomp" because of the metallic stuff on the dentures. It just felt funny and when I a fellow associate of DR. A she just said it's something to get used to! Why? I know some dentures can be made with a clear coating. She said because of my poor bone structure in my mouth that wasn't feasible?? Like I said I speak and comprehend English better than most but at times the communication was not what it should be. PRO ~ they don't "rush you" and take their time and he is the first dentist i had where the needle didn't "hurt" badly. And again Jeanine the dental hygienist is the best! Gentle caring compassionate i love her

I'm blessed enough to have wonderful dental coverage through my job, so when my primary provider…read moretold me that I needed to have my root canal from 5 years ago retreated I wasn't totally bummed. My previous root canal was performed in south jersey by a lovely dentist whose name escapes me now, of course. I could only hope that the referral I received from my primary would be to an equally as wonderful specialist. Dr. Goldberg faaaaaar exceeded my hopes! The office located in a commercial strip near the sesame place campus. I arrive for a 7:45a appointment at 7:30a. I entered the buildings main door and the office was immediately to my left. It was closed! Lights out! Seeing as this was my first experience at this location, I was immediately disheartened...I can't imagine (even after exceptional service) that it's the best practice to show up at the same time as your first appointment. This was exactly what happened. I watched two women enter the office from the side entrance (which is only a few panes down from the main entrance so I watched them come in from my car). I waited a moment and then tried again; this time the door was open. I entered and heard the audible doorbell announcing me. There was no one at the reception desk then and no one peaked out for about 5 minutes. Once someone did peak out it was all smooth sailing! Filled out a short form (standard stuff) and soon after I was taken to my seat and recieved an XRay from the dental assistant (hygienist?) When Dr Goldberg came in it was like someone turning on a bright light ... and then pouring espresso on it lol. He was loud and vibrant, shook my hand and immediately told a terrible joke haha. He'd remind you of an uncle (the kind that marries your aunt, not your mothers brother kind) that sneaks you candy and gives you a few bucks when your parents tell him your on punishment. I absolutely loved his personality and I'm CRABBY in the morning - remember it's about 830a at this point and I hadn't had coffee because I was coming to the dentist. He requested a second X-ray, 3D this time, to get a feel for any bone loss and depth of infection. The assistant walked me to another room, covered me in the metal bib, demonstrated the necessary pose and in a few minutes I was back to the procedure room. Dr Goldberg went over each image with me, explaining how the image was produced and pointing out the subtle lights and shadows that indicated normal and problem issues. When he confirmed that the recommendation for root canal retreat was the best course of action (after explaining the alternatives) I was ready to go! Side note// this is my second root canal on the same problem tooth. Don't believe the hype about root canals being painful. I felt NOTHING either time and even now, I've taken only inbuprofen for moderate ache (not ouch). He was pleased that I had agreed to have the root canal performed right then. I was pleased that he was willing to do it (and not reschedule for later on). The entire procedure lasted maybe 30 minutes and he Dr Goldberg sang OUTLOUD - like in the shower style - the entire time. He replaced my temp crown and complimented my primary dentist on always creating nice temp crowns :) i left with a Rx for antibiotics for a week and an appointment for a followup two weeks later. And a pen from the pen cup - I've gotten better pens from other dentists but I won't take away any points from Doc Goldberg, he probably left that up to a staffer. Anyway, I'm glad I got over my initial grievance because Dr Goldberg was totally worth it. I don't know about the Philadelphia office of the same name, but if they don't have a Doctor Goldberg I won't make any plans to get to know them.
