We have a very high end antiqued area rug that was damaged by a very dry dog poo which was…read moreremoved/picked up as soon as we saw it, there was really no stain only a lingering odor. I called Sierra Clean Care and told the woman I wanted someone qualified to clean this high quality area rug, Jennifer said, that Jeff had just completed special training for cleaning area rugs so he would be able to clean this no problem, with that assurance I booked the appointment. When he came to clean the area rug he did not ask for any information about the rug, but went straight to work on the areas. I felt he knew what he was doing and had no idea that I was supposed to give him any information except where to clean. I looked at the rug shortly after Jeff had gone and noticed that the color had been removed from the areas he had cleaned, I called the office, Jennifer said let it dry it should be fine. It was no different when it was completely dry, I called again, sent a photo and finally Jennifer agreed to make an appointment for Jeff to come back and look at the rug. When he saw it he seemed very anxious and uncertain of what to do, Jeff was very uncomfortable. He said he could talk to someone to try to determine what to do next, I agreed to this and he left. That was beginning of November 2018, when I didn't hear from him, I tried to contact them, but they never returned my calls or texts. Finally I was able to get through to Jennifer in February 2019 and she informed me that they will not do anything to make this right, that essentially it was my fault for not telling Jeff that it is an antiqued rug. I thought it was obvious that is was an antiqued rug, especially to someone with special training to clean high end area rugs. When did it become ok to make the client responsible for the damage your business dose to their property? There is a trust that is shown when you open your home to someone for service and Jeff & Jennifer have definitely betrayed the trust I placed in them! I feel they have acted in an irresponsible & underhanded way!!!
