I wanted a room a bit over half way from Point A to Point B on my road trip. Junction was it. So, I…read morebooked online, looking for the CHEAPEST PRICE possible. And this place was the cheapest. This place was the cheapest, so I wasn't expecting it to really look like a resort. It's an outdated rundown getaway that has probably been in ruins for 30 years. HOWEVER, the room was large and CLEAN. The shower water was hot and had pressure. It had travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap, too. The MATTRESS was new and not too soft or too hard. The AIR CONDITIONING worked well. So, because I was looking for something ECONOMICAL, I give this place 5 stars! Junction/Segovia is just about in the middle of nowhere. And this inn and resort probably was a fun place to stay at one time. (Do tourists use the river for canoes, inner tubes, or rafts?) The pool is closed and full of dark nasty rain water. The pool cabana/venue is boarded up. The tennis courts look sad. HOWEVER, 3 BBQ pits are located near the front office for use. I took photos of the place because I think random places are a hoot! And this place is indeed random. It is probably a good place to hide if you're on the run! Free breakfast is corn flakes, milk, coffee, sugar, and powdered creamer. This ain't The Ritz but it gets the job done on a road trip and tight budget. If you have time, drive along the access road through Segovia because it has pretty vegetation and trees, and a really cool old US Post Office from about 100 years ago that is no longer in service. Telegraph, TX, is NOT far away and it is a bona fide GHOST TOWN. You may want to site see over there, too.

tayed one night enroute from AZ to FL with two dogs. Reviews said it was clean and allowed pets. I…read morepaid $52 for the room with a military discount plus $10 pet fee (not per pet) and about $10 in taxes so about $70. This was the cheapest rate for a pet friendly hotel in the area. Note that I read multiple hotels' reviews before calling This one for a reservation. Checkin at midnight was easy, friendly and quick. Room 119 was old and worn, but absolutely spotless. The sheets and towels were a bit scratchy, but smelled faintly of bleach (which I consider a good thing). There was hand soap and only one small shampoo and no conditioner- so bring it if you need it! The room had wood-look floor and tile in the bathroom- perfect for pets. It had a blow dryer, coffee maker, dorm fridge, window a/c, armchair and ottoman, king bed, and a flat screen tv. Everything worked fine. The shower was hot and had Good pressure. Breakfast was far beyond what a hotel in this price range usually offers. It was manned by a polite older lady who kept it stocked and clean. There were scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, potatoes, a waffle maker/batter, a toaster with bagels, bread, and English muffins, yogurt, three cereals, 2% and whole milk, four juices, tea, coffee and decaf. All available in a small room off the checkin lobby with about eight tables. Checkout was polite and quick. There is an area for walking dogs and a small pool that looked fine from a distance. This hotel exceeded my expectations. We hope to stop back on our way back to AZ in a few weeks! Thank you!!

Very clean. Updated rooms and lobby. I appreciate the size of the breakfast bar; plenty of room to…read moresit and eat.

Perfect for a quick stop and go. Checked in and the front lady was nice enough though she was speaking English to me and then having a full foreign language conversation with whom I'm not sure as she wasn't wearing an ear piece and nobody else was around. Just a bit weird and rude. Disregard the pool picture you have seen, I've included a current picture of the pool. Also whatever renovations you have read about in previous reviews, they have not happened yet. My opinion is the whole place looks worse than the photos people post Room was clean, didn't smell like smoke, and came with a full sized fridge and microwave. A bit old fashioned but has everything you need. AC also worked just fine. For some reason the internet in my room didn't work. I tried to visit the front desk twice but the lady was away both times so I just used my HotSpot. Verizon service is excellent here, full bars Pillows in my room were garbage. They felt like resting my head on a paper plate. Shower/Bathroom was clean. This place is no frills and cheap. Most people come in very late at night and left bright and early. Keep your pup on a leash as there is a gang of cats that roam at night. I would stay here again if passing through.

Was charged $67.00 plus a $7.50 cleaning fee for my service dog. I had been driving 12 hrs and was exhausted. Didn't want to take a chance on finding a hotel room in Junction. Plus the person next door had his Tv blasting until midnight. The walls are paper thin! I called the front desk to ask the person to turn down the volume. No answer. Nobody was at the office when I left at 8:30 the next morning.Called a number and spoke with the Mgr. He was going to investigate and get back to me. He never did. Can not recommend the Segovia Lodge. It was a run down EconoLodge before becoming Segovi . Would never stay there again.

But unfortunately i could not give more stars becuase the sheets in our room had not been changed we knew this because there was popcorn kernels and crumbs on the sheets. So after a day of driving i had to go to the front desk and get clean sheet to put on the beds. It didnt end there in the morning more room issue became apparent. I have attached several pics of the unkempt room. What i did in each of the pictures is take one of their white towel and clean a small area showing the dirt from that area on the towel. The reason i feel this is important is because, if the supervisors dont see this dirt they sure wont see the areas touch by each guest not being cleaned. It a shame because all to the place we stay this trip it could have been the best, but they did fall short.

However, there was very little furniture in the room... no desk to sit at with a laptop to use the wifi (which was also good). I had to sit next to the bed with a footstool for a seat in order to do anything on-line. I can't really complain about anything else, as this is basically a budget inn and I just needed a place to sleep for the night during my travels. I would have given them three stars, but the lack of furniture (a simple chair and desk would have sufficed) for using a laptop dropped them down a notch, and if I were in the area again looking for a hotel I would try someplace else.
