This is my favorite beach on the whole Cape too. LeCount Hollow adjoins equally beautiful Cahoon Hollow Beach, the parking lots are a very short drive from each other. You will have an identical experience at either of these beaches and I recommend both. This beach reminds me a bit of some of the beautiful California beaches that I have been to with it's majestic dunes. I love how you feel like you are removed from civilization when you are down on the beach. So peaceful being here, especially before the Cape's peak tourist season begins. The biggest negative is the very large dune you have to walk up and down to access the beach, this is especially challenging with loads of beach gear. This past summer nearby Cahoon Hollow has some serious erosion troubles with the dunes. Also, paying to park is quite steep, but if you come in the off season it is free. Luckily they do have actual bathrooms here, not just the grimey porta potties.

Be ware that you will need to go down a steep sand pathway to the beach. It's not really the going down part but the going back up. We saw plenty of people having to stop multiple times on the way back up because it is tough. There are lifeguards on duty until 5pm and the crowds weren't horrible because one needs a parking sticker to enter the beach. On the on-season there is someone stopping all the cars going in to make sure they had the appropriate parking sticker.

Microwave, Mini Frig, T.V with Cable. Small coffee pot set up. A desk, table 2 chairs. Hangers and luggage rack. There is a great Pool which is a big perk. Unfortunately, this year was to cold to swim. We had swam last year and it was great! There is a Supermarket across the street and the beach not far at all. The motel provides an informative binder. The town center is actually within walking distance for most people about 1/4 to 1/2 miles away. Becareful though, the road in front of the property, at the traffic lights gets very busy. We witnessed a bad car accident while waiting to cross the street, the 1st year. A Continental Breakfast with delicious homemade muffins is served every morning. To be totally transparent and give a 100% honest review these next things were a few minor issues that only happened our last visit. The water pressure in the shower was very slow. No shower liner, (not the problem) the fabric curtian got soaking wet and wet the whole floor, causing a slipping hazzard. The soap and shampoo/conditioners weren't filled. We were supposed to be given a second key that was never dropped off. Had the T.V. shut off at about 10pm while we were watching, out of nowhere. I called the office to let the staff know and got a NOT my problem response, that I wasn't excepting. This year we had tried to book 2 days again, but only one was available. We decide to take the 1 night and pay more then we would have elsewhere. No sure about next year.

The off-season is always good when there's no fees and there's plenty of room. Nice volleyball courts & food is across the street. The view is lovely, with houses nearby and Lewis Bay, seeing across the body of water. It can be windy on some days, as happened during our visit. Luckily, there were no significant incidents, but keep that in mind. There is a lot of parking space at Kalmus, which also connects to the other three beaches. In the parking lot, there is a snack bar and also a bathroom.

During season, there is a $30 parking fee but when we were there we did not see an attendant nor a place to get the parking pass, so I am guessing you pay when someone is there to collect. The beach has a nice sandy area flanked by two nice rocky formations, which are very common in the Cape. Lots of parking spaces and a lifeguard station that is manned at specific times.

There is a $30 fee, but it gives you the whole day and all of the beaches there is a fee so it just is what it is. The bathrooms were immaculate! Plenty of stalls to choose from and it was spotless. I felt very comfortable using it. As far as the beach, go early because it does get crowded, but you will enjoy soft sand and rolling waves. Plus you can take a leisurely walk down the beach to get those steps in!
