My ears were waxed, my eyebrows were trimmed, my neck was trimmed and my beard was immaculately manicured. Great place I definitely found my new home for cuts and excellent service at a reasonable price

I've been going to Danny for a while and he always does a great job. He's originally from Los Angeles but is a long time Rogers resident and brings the California style and skill with him. I give him a basic idea of what I want and he makes it happen perfectly. The whole barber shop is just a great place to be. All the other barbers are friendly and they'll talk to you or even play pool with you while you wait. The vibe is like a really classic barber shop feel, which is exactly what you'd expect in Downtown Rogers. This is a first class place for people who care about their haircut. Had my first haircut at the Ozark Chop Shop today and it will definitely not be the last! You'll immediately get greeted by two things; 1. a friendly barber offering a beverage while you wait and 2. the very cool atmosphere with old-school barber chairs, a pool table in the middle of the space and great music out of the speakers (not Top 40 crap, by the way). But the thing that really impressed me was the clearly visible expertise of all the barbers, especially Kate that took care of me during my first visit. Was not impressed with the haircut which was given, was an hour and left the sideburns, neck hair and did not look like anything like the example which was given. Hard rating a barber shop because they were all very friendly and some more experience than ever. however I believe if I tried again with a more experienced barber would be a completely different scenario. $56 haircut for mediocre performance. read more

The vibe was good, the staff very friendly, but the skill wasn't there. I had to go to another place to get my hair cut again to salvage the cut. There was no blending of the fade and the top was chopped straight across in the front with no texturing. I started to worry when the nice gentleman put gobs of gel in my hair and stood it straight up as if we were done before he even touched the top. Had to say "are you going to cut the top?" Then he cut the front straight across and too short, left the rest and said "how's that?" I just politely got out of there before more damage could be done. Very pricey for a cut from someone who wasn't well trained. read more

My coworker told me about his excellent experience at Ozark Chop Shop's brand new location in Rogers (Next to Hawk Moth), so I decided to give it a go. The shop itself is in a renovated auto repair shop, so they kept the initial aesthetic of the industrial looks, very cool. The first person to greet me was very friendly, and I was offered a beer or water right off the bat. They have a comfortable waiting area, and they just got a pool table as well. The gentleman who cut my hair gave me tons of options on what would look best, and did an incredible job executing. I've never had my beard trimmed professionally, and I cannot recommend it enough. These guys are very talented, friendly, and offer an amazing experience. They are truly trying to establish a community, not just a haircut. Save your time and money avoid ozark at all costs! Unprofessional environment, don't bring your wife here or kids. They were rude to my family. I visited this shop for the first time a couple days ago n I felt very disrespected. The barbers avoided cutting my son and was staring at my wife's breasts the whole time. I've been going to Sports Clips for a while since Gary downtown kept cutting my hair the way he wanted to despite my wishes. Finally got a cut I was proud to sport.
