I started going here about a year ago after a not-so-great haircut at another salon. I was so…read morenervous because I was cutting over 8 inches off my hair and at a new salon but Kelsie helped make me less anxious (the red wine also didn't hurt). I've been seeing her ever since for my highlights and cut every 7-9 weeks. You do have to tip in cash, but there is an ATM in the nail salon next door. I've never had an issue with Kelsie starting my appointment late, and she always picks right back up where we left off the last time I saw her. You can usually find street parking a block or two away, and they have later hours, so you can go after work. I'll never go anywhere else while I still live in Baltimore - I found my place!

Cynthia's Smooth Transitions braiding service will come to you and create a beautiful look for any occasion in the comfort of your home. Now that's VIP service. Cynthia strives for customer satisfaction. While braiding my hair, she told me we had a design issue. She stopped, took a picture of the problem to show me, then we discussed a resolution and she fixed it! Most places don't care about the quality, as long as the work is done. As you can see in the pictures, the re-design turned out great! Overall, I'm a happy customer! Cynthia is delightful to work with and had me laughing all day! She radiates positive energy, and is easy to get along with. Can't wait for my next session. Note: If you become a regular, your 5th service is free.

I do have a complicated color scheme, but I just moved from Cleveland where the TOTAL was around $70, not just a haircut. I'll go back because the results were great and finding a new hairdresser in a new city is scary. Side note- they don't take credit cards so bring your checkbook!

Peter talked me out of cutting my hair and just took off 2 inches. I was initially really disappointed and thought that I should've pushed harder to get what I wanted. However, he then recommended getting a keratin treatment which would straighten my hair, make it shinier, dry faster and lasts for up to 6 months. I'm not one to gush, but I have to say this has been a life-changing event for me. It has made a huge difference in my daily maintenance routine and I get compliments all the time. Without this treatment, I would've gladly cut off my hair, but I'm so glad that Peter knew better and made his recommendation.

She was also happy to work with me when I randomly got called into work and had to cancel an appointment a bit last minute.
