She asked if there was anyone who was new to Paddleboarding and/or yoga and helped those who were new to the practice. We all had a very good time. After weeks of failed attempts to make contact I decided to email them. After several back and forth emails over the course of a few days (they only send responses in the middle of the night) I requested someone call me directly to book an appointment because I was told that time slots available on the website were actually NOT available. I never heard back despite continued follow up. When contacting Groupon to put in a claim I was advised there were many complaints for the same reason. Don't waste your energy.

Joe charged us $1,000 and Dinghy Shop $700. Taking into account inflation, the $1,000 we were charged in 2004 is $1,600 in 2022 dollars. I think Joe could tell we didn't know any better and he took advantage of us. I've heard similar stories. He has a reputation. I don't think there is much more to say.

We spent most of our time out of the kayaks rather than in them as we dug out of sandbars. That's not Captain Kayak's fault. But, when we went back in after less than an hour (due to the fact that we were spending all of our time walking vs. paddling) and explained out situation to the "Captain" and his kids/business associates, we were basically shrugged off. I would have liked a discount off the next rental or at least a little apology - how about some empathy? We got nothing. Won't be going back there. It's a shame, too. Kayaking is a fun activity. There are other outfits in the area and we'll find those. $130 for 45 minutes of digging + a poor attitude from the proprietor isn't our favorite way to spend a sunny day.

They gave great information upon booking the reservation on the phone. Parking was very easy but depending what time you go I'd go sooner for parking! The women who checked us in was very sweet. She explained everything to us. She told us where to go and how to stay safe. The man who got us on the boards was equally as nice. He gave us a quick course on how to use the boards. The boards were much easy than I thought. I felt secure and got the hang of it pretty quickly. We paddled to an amazing area with a waterfall and past some beautiful houses and shoreline. I loved that you could kneel , lay , stand and just float in the water. It was definitely a fun day and I can't wait to do it again.
