The weather has been especially crummy this spring and summer, but we didn't let that stop us. Adam was friendly, funny, and helpful. He got us set up quickly and pointed out where to head on our big yellow floating bananas! We saw ospreys, turtles, and egrets. We were able to make it to Taylors island and get off the kayaks and walk around. I felt safe in the fairly calm water, and the cloudy weather kept most of the boats away from us, which made for a peaceful trip. Definitely would come back ! Some items to note if you decide to rent: No bathrooms at launch point. If you're hungry grab a snack on the way or in Greenport. You can also bring it with you and eat at Taylors island. Water shoes help if you have them.

We are in EH at least 2x during the summer and as my son has gotten older we've looked for low commitment but high entertainment activities- paddle divas checks all the boxes. They've got adult lessons, you can book solo time (a first for me this past June with Paddle Divas), yoga classes out on the water, and a kids adventure club. If you have any hesitations at all, they make you feel comfortable and confident and will outfit you with the right equipment / board to make sure your paddle time is safe and you build confidence. My 8 yr old loved his 2 experiences this past week at adventure camp and is already asking if he can go again next year (yes!). The camp took a little paddle field trip to the East Hampton Shellfish Hatchery and got a glimpse into some local environmental work being done. A cool experience that offered a bit of a local touch. We just loved our experiences this summer and we couldn't recommend Gina and her crew any more. 5 stars.

There is changing rooms , bathrooms , and showers . Everything is clean and everyone is polite . I didn't even see any garbage laying around . This is the first beach I've gone to which was actually really clean and people are really nice . The parking fee is only 15$ which is not bad at all then you can park anywhere and just go onto the beach . The sand is perfect its so soft and some shells but its easy to walk on . Its great for anyone family , couples , groups etc . The west Hamptons beach is a must to go to .

David, our captain, was funny, knowledgeable, and clearly in love with the bay. The solar powered boat was a nice, easy ride, and all the talk of oysters made me hungry. Charter Boat / Tours…read more Having the day off, a few of us tripped across this small tour operator in Greenport Harbor. The boat is named Glory and is a reproduction launch from days gone by. The claim to fame is that the whole thing runs on batteries and thus, is green and clean. The boat owner and operator (Andrew) was a real hoot- he took great pride in all that is Greenport, the boat, the harbor and the environment - we had a great time out there with him as we motored around Shelter Island and the bay in general. The cost is extremely reasonable - $15 for adults and if you are nice, you'll get a lollipop. The boat leaves from the rear of Prestons Marine supply. The trip is about 45 minutes and a great way to see some nature - Osprey's in particular but plenty of other birds... Parking around town.

Fantastic scuba diving spot in Long Island, probably the best in New York state. I only just got…read morescuba certified about a year ago and I wanted to do a local dive close to NYC. Not too many options in the five boroughs, but these guys really helped out. Very friendly service, they make sure you practiced a little before you go into the water with their own private pool and they double check to make sure your gear is all set. I dove at the Hampton Springs spot and it was really fun. Though the visibility is a little low underwater, it is a great place to practice and you can still see some stuff below the surface. If you just started scuba diving like me, then definitely come here to refresh yourself or learn firsthand!
