I bought a truck from them over 3 years ago, and to this day have still never been reimbursed for the sales taxes they improperly collected on my behalf. I registered the truck in my state when I got it home, at which point I paid registration and sales taxes on it in the correct amount, and was told by the DMV official that I was due reimbursement from the seller, as they were not supposed to collect taxes for me. Upscale Auto (Ashley in particular) sent a check to my mom's address for the wrong amount (the lower sales tax rate I paid in my state, not what she collected from me). We voided the check and requested another for the correct amount, which was then filled out incorrectly and was also un-cashable. At this point, it had already been 6 months of trying to get back what I was owed, and Ashley and refused to send another as she already paid to mail two. If this was my fault as the consumer, I would understand, but this seems to be pure intentional negligence and/or weaponized incompetence. She and her husband both have not responded to a single message or phone call I've sent in the last two years with any sort of semblance of a resolution. The only explanation I can have at this point is planned thievery/tax fraud. They are welcome to challenge this comment with proof of a resolution, but I doubt they care about their reputation more than the money they owe. I cannot stress enough, do not use this stealership for any of your business needs. Please save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
