Do not use this service. Incompetence at this shop is overwhelming. Cannot follow simple requests. Terrible customer service. Will break things on your truck you did not ask them to check and make you pay for their fuck up. over 800$ just for a PM. Then not fix the truck for the reason you brought it in and tell you pay almost 2k or we are not releasing your truck. Whole day wasted and loads missed. Terrible! Do not use this company. Our truck broke down in Ocala and we had it towed to this place. We had $12k worth of work done. Once it was repaired we drove it directly to our mechanic to check the repairs and the truck is missing Motor Mount Bolts, missing Transmission Dipstick, missing Transmission Dipstick Seal, Cracked Return Line, Damaged Fuel Line and a bunch of other stuff which will be another $2300 to repair. We called them and Jeff, the General Manager, said, "You didn't ask us to look at the other stuff." Sadly, this place does DOT inspections but will release a truck with these kinds of issues to drive on the road. SMH. read more

We confided in this company back in June of this year when we purchased our used 2011 KW for our small business. We knew the truck sat awhile and needed repairs and a DOT inspection to start our business. The repairs needed for this truck was suspension, a new timing gear housing, gaskets etc. We paid them over 13,000. While on our first job we had a load on and everything seemed great. However, on 9/23/21 an hour into the trip, the bolts inside the gear housing broke off and destroyed every single gear and bolts came out of the cover and rounded the holes in the block. We lost nearly all of the oil in a matter of a few minutes. We paid a Tow company 750.00 to have the truck and trailer with our load moved to a repair shop. The repair shop that fixed the damages confirmed the bolts inside the gear housing were either over or under torqued when put back together. P&S ended up paying the new shop around 15,000 to fix our truck. This amount doesn't reflect the tow bill. P&S has never reimbursed the tow. This put us back out of work for 5 weeks while the repair shop in MA had to do a lot of repairs to fix this. I also want to mention when making a payment, be careful! The receptionist wasn't careful when processing our money. We paid our balance with cash and a card. 900 cash the rest on our card. She ended up charging the full amount on our card. We are the ones who caught this after our bank notified us. Instead of giving us the 900 cash back, she did a refund, and we had 0 money in that account for 3 days because it overdrawn the account. I've edited my review to keep it simple, straight forward and compliant. My review is factual regarding our personal experience. This review doesn't cross the line of being slander or defamatory. We did not exaggerate or inflate our experience. When they called my husband 12/2/21 and threatened to sue for slander. I revised my review to keep it to the actual point of what we experienced. Repair truck was parked in my yard (private property) and broke sprinklers.Asked driver to move and would not.. He said if I had more alcohol in me I would whip your ass.. DO NOT call this company for assistance. My wife and I found ourselves stranded on I-75 1 mile from the Ocala exit on a bridge no less. Our fuel filter in our class A RV split in half. We called several places to locate a fuel filter but we were stranded. We had no way of going to actually pick up the new fuel filter. We had the part number and located one. Freightliner gave us the number for P&S road service. I called to see if they could bring us the filter. I was told yes, we have a guy coming in, in 15 minutes. I gave the man the part number and was assured he would pick up the part and bring it to us as soon as he came in. After waiting an hour I called back to inquire as to how things were coming along. I was told the guy is on another service call right now 30 miles down the road as soon as he is finished, he'll be right there. Another service call? I thought he was just coming in, in 15 minutes an hour ago and would be right there? Ok, so what choice do we have, we wait. An hour later I call once more to inquire as to the status. After all, we are sitting on the side of I-75, on a bridge at what is now rush hour. Again, I was told he is just finishing up another service call, he should be there in half an hour. Another hour goes by and finally the guy shows up, WITHOUT the fuel filter that we were told he would be bringing with him. The man leaves to go get the filter. He returned fairly quickly which tells me he didn't have to go far to get the part. That alone makes me question why he didn't bring it with him like we were told. I am a mechanic and told the service man I could put it in myself. The service man replied it would be the same price no matter who put the filter in so I allowed the service man to do it. From the time the man first arrived at our location without the fuel filter to the time the man left was approx. 20 minutes. Then he writes out the service bill. Parts $36.00, Service call $85.00, Labor $230.00. Now these figures add up to $351.00 yet he writes on the invoice a total of $375.57. However, it is late now and we still have to find a place to stop for the night. So I pay and we head on down the road again. (The service man is gone like a flash once the bill was paid.) The next morning we call P&S Road Service to try to work out a reasonable bill. My wife and I both spoke to Ernie. Ernie said he already did give us a break by only charging us 2 hours labor instead of the three that we were on the side of the road waiting. Now the day of the service call we were told the man was on another call 2 hours before he came to us. Are we to pay for the other service call also along with the person he was at when we called? Seems to me that would be double billing. Why were we charged for two hours labor, let alone three? There was no communication during those hours other than when I called them for status updates. What Im saying is THERE WAS NO LABOR FOR THOSE HOURS! Ernie also claimed we were told what the fee would be before we agreed to have a man sent out. How could we agree to something that no one knew what the fee would be at the time of the phone call? I explained this to Ernie and his reply was "well, you signed the invoice so..." He also told us we could have called Uber. I don't know of any Uber driver that is going to pick up a part at an auto parts store then bring that part to someone sitting on the side of I-75 on a bridge. How rude!! I believe this is an outrageous fee for a task taking 20 minutes from arrival to exit. I'll even give the amount of time it took to drive from the service call he went on before coming to us. 30 miles at 60mph would come out to 15 minutes. So total time spent on our call would come to 35 minutes. By these calculations the labor rate comes out to approx. $460.00 an hour! We are not people that try to get something for nothing. We realize that a person goes into business to make a profit, however, we also don't expect price gouging like P&S Road Service did to us. We discussed with Ernie that we would be glad to pay for the part and service call fee along with a fair labor rate. Parts $36.00, Service call $85.00, Labor 35 minutes $80.00 coming to a total of $201.00. We urge others not to use this company. You will be extremely overcharged and then brushed off by a very rude and unprofessional owner. Ernie could have charged us a fair amount and had new customers that would spread a good word about his business to the RV community. Instead he chose to take the quick buck and lose any future business he could have had. This is not how a person builds or runs an ethical business. Everyone knows there are plenty of places out there just in it for the money, P&S Road Service is clearly one of those. Stay away from them at all costs!! I'm sure P&S Road Service will respond to this with a "oh we're sorry you are unhappy, blah, blah, blah." However, if they are truly sorry they would refund us the $174.57 they overcharged us to begin with. read more

This company has some stalkers working here. I see their vehicles creeping around residential neighborhoods late at night. I've seen a P and S truck driving laps around the same residential block; doing a big circle around a specific block that they don't even live near. This company would come in for parts at a certain auto parts store. One day a teenage female had come to work from another store for a day. Five different middle aged men working for this company had to all come in; some with their wives or girlfriends, and basically drool over the girl who wasn't even 21. They also liked to make penis jokes about the name of the company, because if you say it fast enough it sounds like it. I see and hear them revving up the loud truck engines at early morning and late night hours by certain peoples houses to harass them. Or drive really loud ATV and motorcycles through the neighborhood to be obnoxious. read more
