Went in today to return an item through the mail. I'm elderly and did not understand the process. I kindly asked the woman if she could help me but Instead of helping me , the rude woman slammed a small piece of paper on the counter in front of me & said " if you don't know what to do read this & come back when you understand it!" I just walked into PDQ Printing because I need Memorial Cards made up for my fathers passing, 9:50 am. The clerk finished with his client and immediately leaves then passed me as I'm waiting, the other clerk was helping a customer so I walked out disgusted I look and he's walking up to the bagel shop!!!! The store opened at 9am!! Did he really need to take a bagel break less than an hour from starting work!!! Needless to say I am going elsewhere! An establishment that appreciates getting business to stay in business. But worst is this clerk doing this and even though he did not know why I was there I truly did not need this done at this point of what I am going through. Staff is typically helpful. However, the prices are way too high compared to similar businesses. My experience today was enough for me to leave this review. I had to fax 16 pages to a business in Middletown NY. Nothing fancy, not double sided...just regular old paper. The cost was $11 and change. I was in disbelief but did not want to give the staff any difficulty (not something she could control). It's just ridiculous that something that costs pennies for them to do would be so inflated toward the customer. I did initially ask how much per page prior to faxing; but was told, "it depends." I should've investigated further and just scanned and emailed and saved a few bucks. While I was at the register I could hear the woman next to me with her child who was questioning why there was such an added fee for them to cut an inch from her child's art project so they could fit it to whatever they were doing (literally $5 to cut the border off of a regular sized piece of construction paper). Really disappointed. I've given this company a lot of my business and today I have experienced things that no customer should have to experience. For starters my order was processed and my card was charged that was put on file as a hold without my authorization before I give them permission. Second the person who took my order did not fully relayed the information to the design team which caused my order to be delivered wrong. I was told my order could be processed a certain way and then after coming in when it was done being told it wasn't able to be done the way I wanted it. I was charged full price and given a "sorry". I'll find a new service or use Vista print from now on. You lost a good customer. read more

1. The don't like the quality of my label, recommend dropping the package in mailbox because it is under 1 lb. 2. The special order that we placed for a labor day BBQ, which was a week too late for the BBQ, now cannot be found. So I wasted 30 minutes of my life. I'm all for the small business', but what I would't give for a reasonably priced, competent office supply/shipping company in New Paltz. Hilarious! I tried to save myself a little time by going to PDQ in New Paltz rather than Office Depot in Newburgh, to Fed Ex a piece of artwork that was basically 1 12X16" sheet of paper. The best price they could give me, without insurance, made me laugh out loud....I have shipped artwork four times the size, with insurance, for less out of Newburgh. It's definitely worth the drive down Rte. 300! read more

The store is neat, clean, appears to be well stocked and staffed with very friendly, courteous and helpful people. The pricing for the services and products are reasonable. I have arrived several times to ship equipment and found a line that moved quickly, even when I brought multiple large items. On one occasion, I encountered a bit of a rough patch, the owner personally and professionally handled the issue, worked with me and saw it to the end that I was satisfied. PDQ is a great local resource. I just got some business cards there earlier this week. I designed them myself and didn't really know what to expect as far as how they'd look. Pete was easy and quick to work with in getting my design on a card. Everything looks great and he took care of the minor issues with my design for me. I really appreciate a business where you can meet the owners in person and get a job done. I went in for business cards, and came back a week later to pick them up. Simple as that. They look pretty good, too! I feel that the amount that I paid for these cards was a fair and reasonable price for a local business with real people taking care of the job for you. read more

all these years and PDQ was great for me. not this time. i sent in an email the work needed for my business postcard that needed addressing in a timely way. not hearing for days, I'd leave messages, calls to be told they'd get back to me. two weeks and the deadline had arrived, had to take it up to Staples at a great expense to find a way to address the postcard info issue. so instead of a simple printed info on the card, had to buy stickers, print them at a cost for printing and cutting and apply them each to 800 cards besides putting on the address labels and stamps never got a call back read more

I just can't say enough AMAZING things about this place! First, I came in when they were already closed and they graciously invited me in to answer all of my questions. Not only did they assist me with printing needs (i.e. signage, menus) for my son's baptism, they also gave me some great ideas for his first birthday party! I'm currently on maternity leave and they went above and beyond to accommodate my budget! The next time I went in, the coloring was off through the Etsy site for my sign and they printed it free of charge. I called after I'd sent over a slew of printable items and they promised to have it ready in time for the big event. As promised, everything looked beautiful!! I had personalized coloring books made and they upgraded the paper free of charge because they thought it'd look better! The guests at our event were so impressed by everything done by PDQ!
