The folks at P. Saylor have always generally been good to me. They installed our fence back in 2013 or 2014 and have continued to help take care of it when necessary since then. Their pricing for our plastic white picket fence was the best back then. I have contacted them for repairs and every once in a while it takes them a bit to get out and get them done, but they do get it done. I appreciate the fact that they are able to communicate and send quotes via email and most of the process is able to be done electronically. They provided good documentation back then as to what they would do and we have been pleased with them. read more

P. Saylor installed / replaced our entrance gates. The installation was great and the technician spent time teaching us how to program the remotes and actually programmed the remote for the vehicles. We just recently had our fence installed with this company and they did not install it correctly. They took 4x96 feet of our land. They sent me an email saying they not fixing it. I wrote a complaint to BBB and I will not stop giving them bad reviews until they fix the problem. I usually do not write a review but they are wrong. They put our neighbor's fence wrong as well. They just had their installed come out and put it where they think it needs to go without measuring it. This company is not using a Metal detector to locate the pins in the ground that tell u where the land end. Smh read more

The installers destroyed my new sod. They dug the holes for the posts and spread the red clay all over my yard. I called to have them come back and clean the mess. They came back and tried to clean the clay up but did a terribly poor job and we're not happy to have to come back. hindsight is 2020 I should not have paid until they came back and replace my sod that they destroyed. I ended up ordering sod from super sod for $550 and breaking my back. Replace a horrible job they did. You would think that the owners of this company would've reached out and compensated me, or came out and look at the job....but nothing. Moral of the story here is it's hard to find good work these days. hope this helps somebody in the future. read more

Up front, they were great. Unfortunately, I could not be here when they completed installation (5/26/2023!). A family member had been by and said it looked great, so I paid before I had an opportunity to check it for myself. The gates are TERRIBLE. 2 of the 3 were built at WAY too much of an angle so that they look all wonky and only line up with the fence on one side. The 3rd was mounted too high so that there is a ridiculous amount of space under it (hard to tell from the photo). First I was told little could be done. After multiple phone calls, someone came out and agreed they looked terrible and should be rebuilt. No further communication until I called AGAIN on 8/21 and I was told they would be installing the new slanted gates on 8/30. 8/31 I got the call that due to weather (completely understandable), they would be here the following week to install. NO SHOW and NO communication from them since then, despite me leaving a message on 9/20 for the service person that I had been dealing with. read more

We recently had our new fence installed and it looks amazing. The process was not. The lack of communication was pitiful. We were told initially that it would be a one day job, which was perfect as we and our neighbors have multiple dogs. We were contacted on the 17th of December and told they would be out on the 20th to install. We got up early and got the dogs out, so did the neighbors. We never heard from them until I called and asked where they were, this was 10 am. Well the the truck wasn't working and they wouldn't be out. So they said the next day. Nothing. We finally called and they said Wednesday, but it would be a 2 day job. Finally they came out, there were several post caps missing, about 5. They said they would return with them. Never got a phone call saying they were coming, they walked into our yard with no notice, and left the the gate open! One of our dogs got out!!! Luckily our neighbor saw him and brought him home. This company is totally waste of money. Once you submit your deposit they will treat you like " don't care." No communication. They didn't even fix my ground holes and my grass is dead there. Fence is of cheap quality. I spend more than 6000$ on the fence and it's very light. They ordered the wrong gate and fixed it after 3-4 weeks and again no communication. They broke my water irrigation line and didn't take the responsibility for that. They said " it happens during work." I wish I could remove the fence from my yard and get my money back.They are completely irresponsible and unprofessional. read more

Phone calls go unanswered, emails ignored, Installation dates pass without a word. 11- 23-2021, I received an email with an estimate for 54' of vinyl picket fence from a principal at PSaylor. I attempted to get information about the actual fence product and description. I was sent a poorly scanned document from the fence manufacturers catalog. 12- 21-2021, I finally got a representative to come to my home, measure, and write up a contract. It was over 40% more than I was originally quoted by a principal of the company! In hindsight, I should have backed out then. I agreed to an adjusted amount, even though 15% over the original quote. Then I waited. And waited. The contract installation date of 2-10-2022 came and went without a call. Phone calls and email I sent received no response. 4-6-2022, I got a call, but only after I repeatedly called them. My fence was finally installed 4-11-2022, 5 months after the original quote. But wait. The installers didn't have post caps and installed the wrong picket tops. I was told they would return the next day to correct this. They did not. For 8 days. BBB A+ is on the side of the truck. I question how they got it. Save yourself the headache. Find another vendor. read more

I started working with P. Saylor Fence back in September of 2020. They quoted me right in the ball park of the other fence installers. I am so happy I made the choice to go with P. Saylor. During this unprecedented time of supply chain issues, caused by the pandemic, Stacy and Heather were so professional and communicated the entire time with me. P. Saylor gave me a tentative start date about 45 days out. Which fit my time frame perfectly. Stacy called me a couple weeks prior to the installation to let me know there were issues with materials and we would have to move my start date back. Stacy and Heather called me weekly to keep me in the loop on materials and possible rescheduling the start date. The communication was awesome. We were in the process of putting a pool in and this gap could have caused issues with inspections and large equipment gaining access to my yard. They coordinated with the installers and left a span of the fence out initially then came back when I was ready to close the yard up. The construction team worked really hard and always had time for my six year old son. My son watched them daily and "helped" out where he can. He asked a ton of questions, as six year olds do, and they answered them and explained things to him. I can't say enough about how this made him feel and how grateful I was for it. The fence was completed around November 2020 timeframe and the pool is just finishing up now In March of 2021. The inspector came out and failed our inspection due to fence height near a retaining wall. I emailed Stacy and Heather and in less than 48 hours Stacy called me back. She is getting with her project manager to find a solution and explained there are still issues with materials. 4 months after completion they are coming out to fix this. WOW! Seriously consider P. Saylor when choosing your fence installer. They may not be the lowest priced, but the piece of mind knowing your project will be handled with skill and care is worth the little bit more. Not to mention that they stand behind their product and actually call you back months after you have written that final check. read more

Overall bad experience and lack of communication. Quoting process was great but it went downhill once the contract was signed. The installers never arrived for the first scheduled install. I called the office and sent an e-mail but received no response. I called the next business day, and the staff wasn't aware of the missed install. There was little empathy expressed and staff blamed the installer, which was very unprofessional. Rescheduled another crew for a week later. Crew arrived but botched install, leaving an awkward angle and end posts were off by 20". Crew blamed diagram when sales assured me fence would be measured to run parallel to the street. Escalated the issue to the office and they sent crew back to re-do posts. Since fence has already been cut, I lost 20" of enclosed yard. Crew left without saying a word. No callback from office to ensure issues were addressed. The only thing this company cared about was sending the final invoice an hour after the installers left. Other neighbors were waiting to see how my install went before getting their fences and I've advised them to steer clear of this operation. read more

I just had my fence installed by P. Saylor Fence and I must say it was an amazing experience! Tim came out to the house and I worked with Heather and Stacy in the office. They were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, responsive, and understanding of my situation. My wife and I moved cross country and have been incurring new expenses left and right with our new house but the folks at P. Saylor were able to come up with a solution for me that fit my budget perfectly. This was the easiest contracted job I have ever had done. Priced within my budget, professional suggestions from salesman, came when they said, demolished old fence (21 year old split rail), and had new one up in one day. They cleaned up nicely behind themselves and left my yard at least as nice if not better than when they started. I am over the moon happy with the process of getting my new fence. When I was looking for quotes on replacing my Wood fence with Vinyl, they responded with their quote the same day I called. The reason why I decided to go with P Saylor Fence (beside the price, of course), is that Tim, owner, came out to measure the fence. He took the time and provided suggestions how they would build the fence because I do not have a perfect square backyard. The P. Saylor Service Team (Tim, Stacy, Jennifer) was professional, responsive with excellent customer service from beginning to end. When I got home, I was PLEASANTLY surprised. My fence looked so AWESOME.
