That said, there are plenty of over-priced goods at Renninger's, but there are bargains to be had, a good mix of antiques, pretty things, collectibles (not my bag), and overall a good time to be had if you remember that this is a flea market, though indoors. Yes, some booths are not open but out of probably 150 or so it was maybe 10-12 booths; people have lives over-and-above their booths. As far as it being a social event for dealers, have you ever done a multi-dealer flea market or antique show? Is it annoying to have to search for a dealer? Yes. Ask nearby dealers; they know each other and help out! We had to search for at least 3 different dealers for booths today. One was very nice but the item I was looking at was mismarked. One was nice, and willing to work with us on price due to condition. The third was also very nice and worked with us to test an item and make a deal on multiple items. Really, what more can you ask for other than legit steals (don't think we haven't found a few of those there as well!)?

I was in there a year ago with my mom and bought a stained glass window and she basically Said I was lying even after I offered to show her pictures of the window I purchased she said we had to leave. you go to antique stores and have to look around slowly there's alot of stuff you don't go and just look and get one thing and leave we were going to purchase several things Until she kicked us out. The last time I was in there the man behind the counter was super nice and personable and even called the owner to see if he would accept offer of item I even saw the owner as I was leaving and he was very nice. My wife and I drove out from Pittsburgh to visit a number of vendor's showrooms. We'd already…read morespent time in Amish areas of Ohio. While various vendors (including online order sites ) do sell items made by the same shops, we value and want to reward (so to speak) the showrooms that educate, help customize, and allow one to see/feel/touch items of interest or similar-enough, in any case. Caleb was our primary point of contact to order two highly customized chairs, a custom keystone table to go between them, and one ottoman. One of the customizations was one I could find on no website anywhere for the manufacturer we had chosen. Caleb contacted them and navigated all our demanding requests with patience and cheer and, generally, in a reasonable time frame (we were erratic on our end a bit, too -- give and take). Our estimate was 2-4 months and we were called exactly at 3months. They held the items for several days until I could drive out, helped load things up, and just happened to have some fresh sweet rolls to share! (I loved that the kids were selling some 3D printed parts they designed in a CAD package just inside the store.) I trusted they had checked everything over and belive they had -- We got home and found everything to be absolutely perfect. Beautiful select+ grade QSWO, well-selected, constructed, and finished. $5200 for two chairs, the table, and an ottoman actually seems fair given the quality. These are our first non-IKEA or hand-me-down furniture items and we are proud to own them. We will be buying a new dining table and chairs from them in the future, no doubt. One note: My wife and I had forgotten her reclining chair had an internal lever that is sorta' hidden by the cushion AND also needed to figure out how the backs slid and clicked into place. While I'm a handy engineer and this was easy enough, I could imagine some folks might have benefitted from a little instruction. Perhaps that was not given as Caleb personalizes service, I dunno. As per another's recent trouble here on yelp, there is only so much any vendor can do with long lead times from Amish workshop partners. Given my initial experiences and interactions, I can can't imagine they would do anything but follow the Golden Rule in helping reasonable customers.
