What a find! Parking is rough, looks run down but inside is worth it! Clean, handful of tables. Bathrooms were clean and nice! Food was out quickly, servers spoke Spanish. Each empanada was a good portion. Each flavorful and different. The sweet ones were also tasty. The most annoying thing is that you have to go online to figure out what all the different flavors are. If it's not the BEST empanadas spot in Orlando I would say it's one of the best.... Being visiting this family restaurant since they opened and it's always being AMAZING flavory / crunchy / fresh and if you ask for the sauces to go or the SALAD TO GO UFFFFFFF!!!!!! 5 stars if you like Venezuelan empanadas. Huge selection of them and the four I tried were so flavorful. The shop itself is small but clean and a decent amount of seating inside and out. Staff was friendly and while we were eating outside came out and offered us a free sample of the shrimp broth. Delicious! My son learned about this place through a coworker. He loves empanadas so we had to come try it. We came in to order take out. They have a large menu on the wall for the empanadas but doesn't explain what's in them. We opened up the website and it was more detailed. We used it as reference to order. So far we have tried the shredded fish, beef and cheese, beef, and the chicken and cheese. They are Venezuelan empanadas. I like Colombian but these are pretty good. They are large and 1 is pretty filling for me. They give you to go sauce. If you are a sauce person you might want to fill up your sauce containers before you go. We have tried a few of the juice flavors. So far mango and strawberry are ten favorites. This is a great option for a quick inexpensive meal. read more

They have so many options to choose from but I got the Pabellon. It consisted of shredded beef, sweet plantain, black beans and white cheese. It's a decent size empanada and is $5. It did take them a little while to make but I think that also shows how fresh they are- not giving you something that's been sitting for a a while. I would have rated them better if it were not for the treatment I personally witnessed toward their employees. It appears that when they are under pressure or dealing with many customers, they shout at their subordinates and do not manage stress well. The way staff are treated is very important and clearly noticeable to customers. read more

Perhaps 15-20 seats max fit *uncomfortably* inside PARKING Parking is even more limited than seating and you will have to share spots with Dunkin' Donuts patrons since this business is located in the same plaza as them. OVERALL I would skip on the CHORIQUESO EMPANADA because it was on the drier side and wasn't filled much, but I 100% recommend the MOLIDA EMPANADA -- this one was jam packed with ground beef and was juicy and flavorful. All empanadas were a good serving size; about the size of my entire hand. I would also skip on the mini TEQUEÑOS as the breading on them were also on the dry side. One plus of this place is that they do provide 3 different sauces at the tables to enjoy with the food, which you can use at unlimited amounts at no cost. Overall, I give this place a 3.5/5. The molida empanada was delicious, but the hassle of trying to find parking and then having to find a seat to eat the order deters me from wanting to come back. read more

I came here because I was told that this place had lots of variety of empanadas: around 30 to be exact. I ordered empanada de atun (tuna), carne mechada (beef), and pabellon. The carne mechada empanada was alright. It wasn't that tasty and not much of sauce inside. The pabellon didn't come with plantain, black beans, and cheese. It tasted bland. It didn't meet my expectation. It was one of the worst pabellon that I ever had in my life I'd reconsider coming to this place again if they didn't know how to make a proper pabellon. I can share that this is one of the BESTEST beef patties or empanadas that I ever had. If you never had them, give them a try. They are like a healthier Hot Pocket because everything is made from scratch and not frozen for 300 years and then sold at the stores. They have a lot of different flavors an different drinks. Some of the fillings are, ham, cheese, beef, chicken, pulled chicken, beans, beans and cheese, etc. They have natural fruit juices like passion fruit, guava and other flavors including soda pops and coffee. The service was great and very efficient. The food came out pretty fast and very hot which is one of the things that I love about having fresh foods. The store is very quaint and clean. You can tell that they have decorated the store in their traditional environment which gives it a great ambiance and you can feel that you are eating in their culture. The food is amazing. We went for breakfast. They have more than 50 flavors of Venezuelan empanadas, and all the ones I tried were freshly made. Luckily, we arrived quite early and were able to get a spot. The food also didn't take more than 10 minutes, but we did notice that after 9:00 AM, it starts to get incredibly crowded. You might even see people outside in their cars, waiting for parking. The staff was very friendly, and despite being quite busy, the ambiance is very comfortable and they always came back to us asking if we needed anything. My only advice is to go early if you want to enjoy it calmly and find a spot without any problem. read more
