Took a pit stop here before work because I was craving some type of breakfast bite. This place is definitely a hole in the wall. I arrive at 8:45 and there were only two elderly people eating so pretty empty but very clean. The employee was supee sweet, had a short conversation with her and was very attentive. I bought a pandebono and a tequeño to go. The pandebono was great! One of the best I've had. It has a crunchy outside and a soft inside and they are a good size. Ricopan is exactly what it is in English, Delicious Bread. Looking at this place from the outside, doesn't look like much. However, the storefront gives you a little preview of what is inside. Walking inside, you find your typical bakery with much Christmas decor. The pastries and coffee here is Colombian Heaven. The cheese arepas are on point as well as there lunch dishes. I came in Rico Pan Bakery for a breakfast takeout between my morning workout sesh and getting ready for work. I picked up an empanada de pollo colombiana, arepa con queso, and pandebono. The service was FAST, receiving my order right after I paid. I love the texture of the pandebono as you sink your teeth through it. The arepa con queso had corn kernels in it which I love and tastes fresh. The empanada de pollo colombiana was nice and crispy in the outside and tasty. However, I'd prefer to have more chicken in the filling inside. It's a mixture of chicken and potatoes. I share some of my goodies with my husband he also loved the treat! I ask for a lunch that was $10.50 and two pandemonios $1.90 each that will be total of $ $14.40 plus tax 7% total $1.16 so they add $1 dollar to the total charge to my card $16.56 instead $15.56 when I called to complain the person behind the line said that the lunch wasn't $10.50 sorry she said was $11.50. For my opinion they do that wi all their customer? For me is not the value of the $1 dollar is the advantage that the take when the customers pay. read more

The setting: hole in the wall bakery, family run. I'm not an expert in Columbian bakeries but this felt pretty authentic. No English spoken here so if that intimates you you might want to go elsewhere. If you don't speak Spanish, the lady behind the counter was very sweet and between hey very broken English and my broken Spanish, we communicated. With the effort.The casava rolls were very tasty. I also got a Cuban sandwich which was lacking the pickle slice but otherwise very good. The coconut clusters were good but too dry or old. Not sure which but the flavor was got albeit too sweet. Unless you are eating solely on Disney property, stay seat from the awful chains on tourist avenue and try some local stuff. You can eat mediocre chain food in anytown USA (though I'm not sure why you want to eat that stuff to begin with but that's another topic). read more

We stopped by in the way to the mall here and it was a great choice. We got the Pandebono , Roscón de guava, Pan dulce and a croissant Jamón y queso. Everything was delicious and the service was fast. There was a little line but it went quick. There is a small area to sit and eat if you like. I am here in orlando for a few days visiting family and I happened to see this Colombian bakery. I love Colombian bread and unfortunately there aren't Colombian bakeries back in Cali. Jusy by chance, pulled-into this small plaza just to take a break from the traffic on 192; and happened to see this bakery in the corner. Knowing that you can always get a good cup of coffee in a Colombian bakery; we decided to give it a try. And wow were we suprised how delicious the pastries! My girlfriend had the tornillo (Colombian version of chocolate eclair). The crust was perfectly flaky and crunchy, the filling was sweet (but not tooo sweet, like you get when bakers use artificial sweetners, instead of sugar), perfect amount of filling (not overkill), and the chocolate topping was awesome. I am very picky about pandebono, (since I hate when they are either too flat, or too spongy). This place got them perfect! Best pandebono I've had outside of Medellin ("or atleast, Jackson Heights/Corona" Queens). Lol. read more

We stoped by to try it, and got some goodies to go cause it was lunch time. We got 1 meat empanada, a 3 leches, and 2 comes, one with cream and one with dolce de leche. The food was good, what wasn't was the service, we were there for the 1st time and they have lots of goods and it was difficult to choose from so many choices, there was no one behind me and she was doing something else, and o called only when had a question and to order so I'm not sure why didn't we get the attention we needed. read more

Really good bakery, I come here probably once a week just to get empanadas and pandebono's which are both amazing. The reason I'm giving this a 4 Star is because they close at 8, but they stop making everything at around 5:30pm. I've gone in before at around 6:30pm and they didn't have anymore empanadas, and they wouldn't make anymore. They still had an hour and half left of being open :/. I asked the women behind the counter what kind of pastries these were and she said everything is Colombian. The bread is so fresh and everything I had was absolutely delicious. My favorite were their Empanadas! A must try! The coffee was definitely on the strong side, which I always enjoy strong coffee. So Flavorful! By the time I had gotten here with my family, almost everything was sold out. Which I wasn't surprised. Everything is made the day of and whatever sells out, try to come back the next day! I started my morning the @wholycheesus way. My dear fellow foodie let me know about this place in Kissimmee. I figured its near home, so why not. Great little bakery. Nice and clean. Lots of goodies to choose from early morning. They open at 8:00am and have everything freshly baked. Sweets and treats that go on forever. It all looks so good. I would have loved to try one of each. Here was what I started with, Cafe con leche. I like mine with lots of milk. You have the option of getting it darker. The woman at the register will always ask how you want your coffee made. Unfortunately, no espresso. Now, I am not sure if that's only this morning or all the time. Second on the list was the famous Pan De Bono, So much cheesy goodness in every bite. According to Wikipedia: Pan de bono is a type of Colombian bread made of corn flour, cassava starch, cheese and eggs. EGGSAACTLY!! That said it all. My next order was the Tripleta, Tripleta, according to Zain Deane, Puerto Rico travel guide, "The Tripleta is all about: beef, ham and chicken crammed together along with lettuce, onion and tomato." He had me at crammed together! That does sum it up. Picture in your mind taking a big huge bite of this sandwich. Remarkable. This is a great place. Quesitos are almost as good as getting in PR..almost. Pan con queso is really tasty and cant go wrong with bunuelos. Had the ham and cheese baked croissant today. Not your ideal croissant. We're on vacation from Arizona so we're trying all the new food we can. We picked this place out for breakfast because it was close to the hotel and it was fantastic. Stumbled into the new Apopka location for desserts to bring to a dinner Friday. What a find! Beautiful pastries that tasted so good. The owner / manager (?) insisted we try their flourless rolls made of yucca, honey and cheese. Just fantastic, and yes, I said no flour! We returned for their cafe con leche the next morning.
