If I could give this business 0 stars I would. Attached is the email explaining just what these people have put me through. I am sobbing and feel like I am having a heart attack. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET AND WANT TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT, I URGE YOU TO LOOK ELSEWHERE :( Hello- Hello- First of all I don't know why I am writing this because your employee EMILY made it very clear she is not afraid of you. Your customer service through this process has been the most disgusting and vile experience I have ever been through in my life. I have lost both my father and brother and dealing with buying a coffin was less stressful than pace. The first time I tried contacting your office I was told that there was something wrong with my phone. In reality, your employee had cartoons at a very high level that even after I told her she never lowered her tv or calmed her child. This has been going on for weeks. I know that you and your employees could care less that my fourteen year old dog passed away. The first employee I talked to told me that I had to call the vet and complain to them. She said there was nothing she could do for me. Today Emily called and all I could hear was MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY. I get it people work from home. I don't because my full time job is taking care of my own child. I find it disgusting what I have had to do to make this correct. My poor dog is resting in a incorrect urn with some weird birthday (we requested no birthday on it). We ordered and made it very clear that we wanted the urn to say Molly and be the one that we could put a picture in. Emily made it pretty clear today that a refund would be given and the situation would be corrected. She then changed her tune and further upset me when she said that it's up to her manager (seems like your employees all love to pass the buck) and that could she call me in the morning. I said absolutely not, I cannot emotionally deal with this anymore. She told me that a refund wasn't going to happen because I paid the vet. I said then write a check. I got very upset. I don't need to compete with anyone's children when I am discussing the death and incorrect urn she is sitting in. This is sacrilege. Your company has no morals and definitely no heart. The only thing that made Emily upset at all was mention of competing with her children, she was about to hang up on me. I'm not sorry one but. I was sobbing during and after the call. I am disabled and now have to call my doctor to be seen because stress is really bad for me. Pace should be ashamed of themselves as a company. You want to pay people to play with their kids that is fine that is on you. I don't have to be grieving and listening to a employee who is half listening. I don't have to listen to cartoons. You are so unprofessional and Emily was almost happy that I was going to complain. She had an attitude of I dare you which completely explains why your employees have no ethics or sympathy, You are not selling toys. You are selling something for people that are suffering gravely. I haven't been myself and I haven't slept since my dog passed away. I am a mother but work and children don't go hand in hand. This is no different than if you allowed your office to have screaming children running loose or having this happen at a funeral home. I don't want to talk to anybody from your company ever again in my life. And as for the aloof way that Emily feels about upper management kissing her but because she is untouchable maybe that's true. This is a small town through and I am going to let everyone and the vet know that if they want caring and compassionate professional people to deal with them in their most vulnerable times that pace is not where they are going to find that caliber of professionalism. And that you can tell Emily is how the world works. Enough complaints and people feeling as horribly as I do right now does have repercussions. Maybe not today or tomorrow but this kind of behavior when people are at their worst is unacceptable. I will not remain quiet so I hope one employee is worth me telling everyone I know with a pet and that's in the hundreds that your company and service was deplorable. Emily is a sales rep not god. Somebody needs to sit her down and tell her that and maybe explain that peoples pets and fighting for a correct urn is something no one should have to go through. I am sick to my stomach. read more

Our girl Bella was killed by another dog, while we were all up north this weekend. We brought her home with us, but between being angry, heartbroken and grieving our sweet girl, we weren't sure how we wanted to proceed. We thought about burying her but the possibility of moving and leaving her behind, hurt to bad. I called around and when I called Pace, the staff was incredible. They were compassionate, understanding and did virtually all the work for us. We made arrangements and they came and picked her up even at almost 10pm. They are very affordable and they also personally deliver remains to your home, with any other memorabilia, within 24-78 hours. They were an absolute life saver in the middle of this really hard time. Our girl Bella was amazing and she deserves only the best. Bella had a hand in helping to train many puppies including many puppies for Guiding eyes for the blind. She was an incredible girl! She did not deserve the ending she had. She made a huge impact on a lot of people's lives. She will be greatly missed by so many. Thank you very much to the staff of Pace for helping make this devastating day, just a little bit easier. You will not find a more compassionate company for your lost loved one. They came right out and picked up our dog and worked with us because we have a fixed income. They picked her up and dropped her back of to us. We were so lucky to find such a caring staff as we did with this company. Everyone else wanted us to bring her to the and pick her back up. Pace came out and picked her up and dropped her back off. They are a veteran owned and operated company. They take care of your pet with care. I would recommend them to everyone. I know who I will use Everytime I need a pet cremation. Pace you are the greatest. read more

So Ollie left us the other day. He was such a sweet boy but he was dealing with kidney failure and he died in my bed in his sleep. Peacefully and without pain or distress. MACS referred me to PACE to arrange a separate cremation so I could retrieve his ashes for my roommate to keep to remember him. (Oliver was his dog so I wanted to make sure I was doing everything he would have done were he here at the time. He's away and I have been acting in loco parentis for this lovely pup in the meantime.) They offer a discount to families of MACS patients that includes picking up your beloved boo and returning the ashes to you at your home. If you had to euthanize a pet at your vet's, they will pick up your buddy there. It is an extremely respectful and sympathetic experience. You can get a pawprint if you wish for an additional fee. All told, it comes to less than $200 dollars. Maybe a bit over if you aren't a MACS client or if you add on the pawprint? Rich came by and was so gentle and professional. He took Ollie away in a kind of pet body bag and made sure to remove his collar as a keepsake. He was absolutely unflappable while I had a mini meltdown, and he actually brought his two great good girls into our place after me and my two friends who were there to help me get through this begged him to. They were so sweet and full of joy they boosted my spirits. I had no reservations about trusting our little furball to PACE. R.I.P. Oliver. You were phenomenal. I am going to miss our walksies and training with you. I hope there are a lot of treats and ear scritches and belly rubs where you are...thank you for being such a grand companion! read more

Our family lost our 18yr old cat recently, and during this extremely sad and difficult time, PACE was the best company is ease our minds and hearts. Their service was unmatched, first by talking us through the process of handling the remains and then quickly returning the remains in a lovely urn/box (biodegradable for burial) and memory necklace with ashes inside. (Our daughter especially loved the necklace to keep our cat near her heart.) The pricing and timing of PACE's services were unbelievably reasonable, and we could not have asked for a smoother transition of life for our beloved cat. My sister passed away in 2019. Coco was her dog. She was left behind, wondering where her mom was. Since that time she was loved and cared for by my niece, nephew at home and others who cared for her. Coco was sick before my sister passed and she just could not go on any longer. I took her to the Michigan Humane Society to have her euthanized. They were most compassionate and very accommodating. They told me that I could have her cremated and get her ashes back. I was really happy about this and it really made dealing with her euthanasia a little easier to bear. Our original intention was to bring her body home and bury her. A couple of days after her euthanasia, I received a call from PACE and they delivered Coco's ashes to me. I wish I had known about these services before now. The box that her ashes are in is so nice and it came with her name on it. Her paw prints casted in clay was also included. The bag it came in was a nice corded handle bag with a letter of condolence from PACE paper clipped to to outside of the bag. I can't explain why the paper clip, instead of a staple mad a difference in my heart, but it did. I feel like they cared for her as their own. Moving forward, if I ever have a pet pass away, I will call PACE and I will recommend their services for anyone for the death of their pet. Our loved pet passed away suddenly at home on a Sunday. We weren't really sure what to do, but we found PACE services and gave them a call. They were very understanding and helpful. We requested a special pick-up time so that our children would have time to get home and say their good-byes. They accommodated a late Sunday evening pick-up and were very professional. They made the situation as good as it could be. Our pet was returned to us in days in the urn that we purchased and we couldn't have been happier with the service.
