Pacha Mama is a cool boutique with handmade women's clothing at USD prices, socially conscious art and other gifts with a local, hippie quality that fit the Sayulita vibe perfectly. My gf was drawn in by the dream catchers and flowy boho dresses and tops. Macrame bikinis, tie-dye shirts, and sequined purses fill this place. Hand painted walls and floors lend a pretty, organic ambience. GF tried on an extraordinary dress that was configurable in several ways. The girl who helped us was amazing and spent time showing her how it worked. But for $100 I felt like we should look around some more. She gave us a memorable quote that we've been saying to each other since: "It's better if you wear nothing underneath because you can...imagine." Pretty sure tgat was her situation and I can't really argue lol. I think if we were looking for fashion here we might have bought. GF is a bargain shopper and never pays that much for a dress in the US so it wasn't for us. But super cool store! read more

If you're In Sayulita you have to visit this fabulous boutique. It's so earthy and welcoming. I bought a beautiful dress! It immediately caught my eye when I saw it on the girl that welcomed my friend and I into the boutique. The color and the feel of the cotton was absolutely exquisite. I wore it that evening when we went to dinner. It was so comfortable and beautiful.... My only regret is that I only bought one dress. I hope to back to Sayulita soon. Avoid this shop! Very shady establishment! Several years ago while visiting Sayulita my husband bought a pearl and leather necklace there. Eventually one side of the leather broke and he wanted to get it repaired. We happened to be visiting Sayulita again and he brought it along to see if they could repair the leather. They had him leave it there overnight and said it would take a few days as they lady who made them was not available. The day prior to leaving, when he went to pick it up, they said they couldn't find it. Unfortunately he was not able to get it back prior to leaving and they said they would ship it to him when found. They also treated him very rudely and did not offer another necklace or a refund of any kind and said there was nothing they could do about it. Unfortunately we couldn't miss our flights. The necklace was never returned. We attempted to contact the owner multiple times and we could never get a hold of anyone for weeks. Finally, through an email, they said they would send him a t-shirt for our troubles but refused to give him any refund or another necklace. This place is a complete rip off and I would AVOID this shop unless you want to be treated terribly and stolen from. read more

AVOID - some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The locals will tell you to avoid them, so follow their advice. It is clear the people here do NOT practice the "love" that they preach, as they are so rude and obviously only care about their image!! My mother was looking at some pearls she was interested in buying, and they very rudely came over to her and said "those are more expensive than diamonds, you don't want those," and ushered her out the door. So rude! Obviously she wouldn't buy them after that, even though she was interested before. Then, I saw a pretty dress that I liked and as soon as I touched it they ran over and said "that would never fit you," which is so rude! I am a very small size as well, so it didn't even make sense. If you're in sayulita, support the local Mexicans instead and avoid places like this. read more

I want to start by I love the vibes of this store! The clothing is nice, but IMO very expensive. I looked at a necklace on leather with a gold (not gold) heart charm and a stone heart....it was over $400USD!!!!! Fell in love with the dream catchers and decided to get one. I will say the young, beautiful girls that work there could use an attitude adjustment....hardly a smile, a how are you...what can I help you with....that goes a long way. Got my dream catcher, won't be back. read more
