An impromptu visit lead us to this park, we stopped in Mililani for a few of my favorite business, stopped to get breakfast and realized that business was still take out only. My other half drove around looking for a park to eat our breakfast & ended up here at Mililani District Park. This worked out perfect, I love and noticed the huge trees, right next to the parking lot and lucky we found the last empty picnic table to enjoy. Great job City and County for keeping this park nice, green & clean. While eating and taking a walk around the park, I observed people just enjoying a nice day doing outdoor kine things, there was a few family picnics, Easter egg hunt, during Easter weekend, kids enjoying skate park and playground. I don't mind spending more time here at this park but we had a busy schedule so it was off to continue our Saturday adventures.

This park is right next to a school so their parking lot plus another one with steps across the way are used or street parking is another option. If you lug a cart with your chairs, umbrella(s) and mini cooler of chilled bottled water and/or spam musubi, etc.it's more convenient to maneuver your haul by parking at the school. The good thing about this park is that only 2 games are going on simultaneously vs 3. Fortunately there is ample shade on both sides to keep the fans from overdose of UV rays or heat stroke. Our team's practice was after 11 a.m. so the kiddies were playing in the heat of the day. Amazing how they can run back and forth across the field in that temperature. Just so happened there was someone close by intermittently playing Jawaiian type music so that was cool. The field was not muddy or overgrown, just dry so that was appreciated plus close enough and easy to walk to. AUWE to the person from the team before who left their orangey peels on the ground without taking their OPALA away with them. Gotta remember to live aloha.

This park got a major face lift since the last time I visited as a kid!…read more First, the park has a fence around the perimeter of the field and bathroom to keep people out after park hours which is a game changer! This place was overtaken by homeless folks back in the day and was not exactly safe while I was growing up so it's wonderful to see that the park is now being maintained and put to use. The bleachers directly behind the backstop and next to home and visiting team is completely covered so there's no need to bring an umbrella if you're sitting in one of those areas! The restrooms have been completely renovated and are extra clean! It's nostalgic walking these grounds and so happy I attended this game.

It is an…read moreamazing place for baseball games with adequate parking (122 stalls), lots of seating on the brand new clean bleachers and clean bathrooms. The entire new park is fenced all around w a locked gate so people cannot stay over night in the park, no homeless, the bathrooms are locked and accessible only from the inside fence during events. It's great! Just had a state little league Junior tournament here and it was clean. safe and great for family. There were no homeless as the entire park is fenced off and locked except when in use. I grew up in the area and never spent so much time here until now. It's a well taken care of and clean park. Lots and lots of parking stall, and lots of street parking as well. This park can get downright crazy on the weekends with all the clubs and sports that go on here. Two gripes though: 1. We recently notices that parts of the playground have been deteriorating and is in dire need of a fixing, before someone gets hurt. Always check out the playground before you let your kids play on it. 2. We truly wish there was a restroom at the upper part of the park too, besides the one in the rec center that they don't allow anyone to use. It's an absolute pain to be at the playground with the littles, and all of a sudden one needs the restroom and you either have to walk all the way down and back up, or drive... ugh... Otherwise, we love this park!

Was here this past weekend(8/30/25) for my daughter's flag football game. We parked right outside…read morethe main building. She needed to use the restroom before her game. As we walked into the building, we were greeted by a sign saying "No Public Restrooms" I was a bit confused, cus I thought it was a public Building, Maybe I'm wrong. The only other restroom available was at the bottom of the hill. Overall The park looked like it needed some watering, but better than other ones we've been to.

Nothing was set up and every one we asked didn't know where field 1 was. Many parents and even coaches were in limbo as where to park, unload and wait. The first game we came to watch was finally set up one minute before game time. The second game 2 hours later had a mixup on fields and no team to challenge. What a mess. The lowest field is actually where we were supposed to be although we checked the middle and highest tiers too. For little kiddies the restroom facilities is a long walk up to the second level. So very glad the rest of the games except one were back at our regular home park where all 3 fields are on the same level: ground. Might be a good place to jog or walk and not sure if dogs are allowed but could be a spacious area to play frisbee or teach your kiddo to throw a football or to practice driving.

Convenient for families there are three separate level fields. Great for practicing sports or just spending time flying kites or racing toy cars. They also offer Zumba classes on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Karate on Monday and Fridays too I believe. Ample parking along the side street on the way up and the bottom and top parking lots. They also just repainted the lines so it's easier to park. My kids all play soccer here on Saturdays and we come here to exercise or cardboard slide down the hills. Nice getaway in the heart of salt lake.

Yelp Elite Rod is like the Sakura forecaster of Wahiawa. This is the 2 nd year in a row we've come to see the pretty pink fragile blossoms once his photos appear on Yelp. The trees fronting California Avenue by Iliahi School had several cars already parked with avid fans taking photos. We drove on and did come upon some cherry trees further up on the right hand side still on California Avenue but nowhere to park with cars there too then... I remembered Rod's post mentioning a footbridge and Glenn Avenue. Unfamiliar with the area I inputted Glenn Avenue to Maps and our eyes were scanning both sides of the street for a foot bridge. Ta duh!!! On the left hand side we spotted the place. High curbing with no place to park. So... hubs told me to get out of the car with fur bebe who we brought along for the ride. He went to find parking on a side street. Come my little fur bebe let's take a look. There was a family with a tripod taking photos so I moved and waited on the side. When they were done I asked them where they parked. The man said at the botanical gardens. Sure enough it's right across the short foot bridge. Next time. While I was getting some selfies another man came in my direction and told me there's more trees by the church. I asked him do you know what the name of the church is? He thought for a moment and said Nazarene. Perhaps next time we'll check it out but we had to hele on since I had placed our lunch order before we left the house and it was WAY past 25 minutes. Hope the cherry blossoms will last two more weeks so we can bring Doc here to see the beautiful fragile pink blossoms that bloom it seems only around this time every year. Treat yourself to see them yourself but don't wait too long.

I though google steered me wrong as I turned and noticed the Elementary School but fronting that is the park and it's lush spacious area with a playground and basketball court and their parking apparently is in the school lot. I see an impressive amount of Sakura trees they have here but as of the end of January 2022 they aren't close to blooming yet so hopefully I will be back to see them and enjoy it's beauty in this park. Just your basic neighborhood park…read more Small baseball field on the top, open space in deep left field, and a long strip of open space below the baseball field. I pretty much grew up on the field and it within walking distance from my house so I still come back to throw baseball or whatever. And they do have a bathroom if that matters to you. Also, there aren't a lot of strange people hanging around the park, like you get at most other parks.

My Dad still lives in Pacific Palisades, and my other siblings grew up here. But somehow, I/we had never come to this playground in all those years! And it's not as if I didn't know it was here.... hmmm... Anyway, allllll these years later, I've brought my kids to this playground! We enjoy hunting for and discovering different playgrounds together. My 2 & 4 year old absolutely love this playground! Most are not made for their age, but this one is pretty easy for them to play on. This design also makes it easier for parents as well, so we aren't having to constantly lift and carry the kiddos onto the parts of the playground they want to go. The can easily get to the slides on their own, which makes it great for uninterrupted play, and more relaxation for the parents! Oh, and did I mention there's very pretty views from way up here too?!?
