We've been living in Ho'opili since 2017 and were so excited when Konane Park opened. It's been such a great addition to our community! There's always a nice mix of people from all over the island who come to visit--many even call it the "Fruit Park" or "Apple Park." For us, it's extra special because it's right across the street from our home, making it so convenient to enjoy. The park is well maintained weekly through our community fees, and the trees here are amazing--the ulu provides food, and the puakenikeni blossoms are perfect for making lei. We've even been able to spread a few lauhala seeds, adding to the natural beauty. Konane Park is truly a gathering place that reflects the spirit of Ho'opili. read more

Known by my children as the "Pineapple Playground". It's better than most playgrounds, however, time and the amount of neglect on this playground is visibly taking its toll. I give it another 2 years. Right now it is still our go to! read more

What a cute little park! Found this gem on Yelp and I couldn't wait to take my son here to test it out. They have a few separate play areas, and some of them are shaped like fruits! My son really liked climbing on top of the Pineapple! He didn't really go into the Apple slide, but it looked fun. And the main play structure, which had a nice sun shade over it, was excellent for climbing. My little one loved trying to climb as high as he could. There was a pretty big slide, too! One of his favorite features is the spinny merry-go-round thing. He and other kids from the park got on while a good samaritan spun them round and round. No one wanted to get off! There's plenty of sidewalk around the park, so I was able to jump rope and a few kids rode their bikes around. Overall, a great neighborhood park for keiki and families to enjoy! read more

The fruity vibes, fun obstacles for the kiddos, and that spacious green area with a cemented path But what I love most is that it's nicely fenced, giving that extra peace of mind. Now, here's the real talk - with HOA on the rise, let's all cross our fingers they keep this gem patched up. It would be such a shame to see it go downhill. Quite a few mean kids that are foul mouthed. Act like they run the park and when they don't like someone they tell their parents they are getting picked on. Parents come in and then they act like they own the park. Was nice til these kids came along. read more

The park is very nice and is open to Hoopili residents and their guests. Depending on the time you go, it can be very crowded. I've been here numerous times when there were over 30 children playing on the apparatus. It is a pretty big park in itself and has different areas for kids to play on. There is also a big field for playing ball or other games. There aren't any restrooms in the park since the park is for residents and their guests and using the restroom would be done at their residence. Many that live in the Kapolei and Makakilo area also come to this hidden gem as I have learned from meeting other Parents at the park. It's a great place for kids to play and they also have a water fountain and Pavillion that can be rented out to Hoopili residents. read more

My little family loves this park, it's clean and well maintained. My kids, 1yr-6yr, all have something that they are able to do here. The park is gated with a latch system, which is nice and so far it's been a pretty popular spot with a lot of family traffic. There are a few downsides. There isn't a lot of shade as it is a new park, the trees are still maturing. It does have a sunshade like umbrella at the center of the structure, but it doesn't really keep you cool with the moving sun. It is on padded artificial turf, so it does get hot here, so please make sure your little ones keep their shoes on mid morning / afternoon, they will burn their little feet. Another downside is that there isn't any public restrooms, so definitely plan around that. Overall, we still enjoy the park here and will be back. read more

Konane Neighborhood Park is so cute.... The playground equipment is very unique and children love the different style structures. My grandchildren call this the "Apple" Park because of the unique Apple climbing structure. This is kind of a secluded park at the end of Keahumoa Pkwy in Kapolei, but it has all the amenities most parks offer and in very good condition. We decided to have a picnic under one of the many trees on the beautifully manicured grass. It's really hot in Kapolei so I appreciate the shade from the trees. Speaking of trees there are several Puakenikeni trees with so many beautiful delicate flowers on them. I was amazed at their beauty and the fact that we were able to enjoy their tantalizing fragrance. You don't see these trees in your typical community parks. There is lots of parking along the park because most of the park growers just walk from their homes. A big pavilion with restrooms and lots of colorful garbage cans for trash. Best park on the Westside for a picnic. read more

Also know as the "Fruit Park" and located in Hoopili this is one my children's favorite park. There is a giant apple slide, a jungle gym with a lot of climbing activities, and also a round-about. There is turf on the playground which I absolutely love because of the fact that the kids run bare foot and their feet won't get muddy as compared to real grass. It's very windy on the corner of a residential neighborhood with about 15+ street parking along the park. There are also benches for parents to sit on to watch their children. There is shade over the playground so I don't need to worry about the kids getting sun burned. read more

Shhh it's not well known. So a friend of mine was looking into buying a house down here in Kapolei and on our way home we discovered this place. Now it's a nice gated park open daily from 7 to 7. It seems to be one of those places that that has real grass and trees for pets and the playground has fake grass. Don't want the kids playing anywhere near when the dogs might do their business right? The playground is that new modern stuff because I have never seen a design like this before. To go down a slide, you don't use a normal ladder to go up but a bunch of rods sticking out on the side so you have to climb up. And the merry go round isn't what I had when I was little. It's got seats And there's chain link tube to get to the different levels of seats that dominate the area. To me this jungle gym looks like an obstacle course from Enders Game. I know you saw that movie right? (got yea). Overall four stars. Kids will love this place and once I got over the fear that my kid could get hurt here I let him loose. One of the best parks in the neighborhood for the kids. Other family from all over the island would come to this park. It have a recreation area with toys and box that's covered... huge field for the kids to play soccer or football. It also have seating areas for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the edge of the park, and plenty parking. Visible form the road so if you are worried about your car it's within view. The only thing it's lacking is that there is no restroom. This is important. I think all this park needs is one large unisex restroom with a changing station. This park will be perfect and gold for the 'Ohana of Oahu! I think 5 star if this park has that restroom. read more

I love coming here. The area is peaceful and not crowded. This park is nice and clean. I come here to bring my god kids all the time to play and let energy out. The playground is well kept. Parking is around the neighbor hood so be kind for everyone else to park. read more

I didn't even know this park existed until my cousin invited us to go to the park near their home. This little park is tucked away, you won't know its there unless you know someone living in that area. How to get there? Turn in by the Kroc Center in Kapolei and go all the way down.. it will look like you are going no where and all you see is houses being built but i promise your going in the right direction. Once you hit the end of the road the park is located on your right hand side, next to houses and town homes. You will need to find street parking. They have the cutest playground equipment ever! A apple slide, a pineapple play structure, and even ropes for children to climb. There is also a large green grassy area for children to run around in. Located on the opposite end of the park is a small pavilion. There is also a water fountain over there. I love the fact that there is avocado trees growing in this park. My kids enjoy going to the park here. This park is clean and like i said hardly anyone knows about this gem. I'm hoping it stays clean and doesn't get vandalized once people find out about it. read more

This park is sooooo beautiful. We went to Kapolei to pick up a great charcuterie board from my friend to celebrate my mom's birthday with a picnic. Check out her IG @grazehnl. We wanted to go somewhere where my little nephew can run around and we can enjoy our goodies. We saw this park on YELP and it did not disappoint. It was so clean and well maintained. The only thing is there are no bathrooms nearby. It was a really sunny day and there's no shade for those on the benches, but they have an umbrella looking shade for the kids and that's important. We definitely enjoyed our time there. It's definitely a great place for a picnic. read more

This Park is Beautiful! My son has friends who live in the neighborhood and I'm so glad he does or I would have never known this little gem existed! (Heads up the park does NOT have a restroom). I'm a plant and tree lover, I looovee the landscaping there are 'Ulu Trees and Hala trees and Paukenikeni, and native plants all along the perimeter! Seriously love it! There are also Avocado trees! The playground looks pretty new and is ideal for little one's who love to climb. There is a nice grass area, and a table and bench area. There is also a take a book nook (bring a book and exchange it for a different one). My son is learning about wind in Pre-K and was so stoked on the weathervane on top of the pavilion. read more

This park is new and unique. Good location, quiet, benches, and some shade. There are all types of play structures that I've never seen before. However new isn't always better. This is the perfect park for climbers, as nearly all the structures require climbing. It is not a good park for the disabled, babies, toddlers, or children who are not yet comfortable climbing nets or metal structures. There is a large grassy field area for playing ball or other activities. Near the park pavilion area there are some picnic tables. Plenty of street parking. No public bathrooms. read more

Great brand new park for kiddos - easy to find, easy parking and has shade! Wish we lived closer

This community park for Hoopili residents is great for kids and pets. Nice and cute playground for kids and plenty space for dogs to run around. They have poop bags and designated garbage cans as well. It gets pretty crowded on weekends. They even have a free yoga class on Thursday. I never went to the park before, but now that I am a dog owner, I am definitely going to visit this park often. read more

Enjoyed this park immensely. Took my 2 year old son here while visiting my parents in Kapolei from Los Angeles. Needed to get some fresh air, and found this gem located towards the back of the Kroc Center. GPS will have you turned around, so best to pay attention to the photos provided about this park on Yelp, extremely helpful. The park was open, safe, clean, and kid friendly. Provided shade over play area. Modernized playground, definitely not something you see all the time. So we very much enjoyed our play day. Lots of grass to run around on. My son loved every bit of visiting this park. We will definitely be back, next time we come to visit. read more

We love this park and the fruit theme. It is one of our favorite parks on island. Its unique, has great climbing structures, and is always a fun time. The reason it doesnr get 4 stars is two fold. Really have fun here with my girls. It's close to the Kroc Center so if one has a class I can kill time here with the other two. Kids always find someone to play with. It is kept really clean and is in a newer community. Cute vegetable garden themed playground. Two real issues with this playground is there is no bathroom and I get static almost every time I touch the equipment. I get that it's a residential playground and they would have to pay for that but with a covered pavilion area you are fooled to think there is one. The static shock has more to do with probably the Astro turf and equipment material. I find it thrilling but kids probably don't! read more
