Working with Juan Jose and Jim was awesome! The owner went far and beyond my expectations and took notes of everything that I wanted to have done. After the job was completed I was completely happy and still am. I have one little issue that may need to be resolved. I am not even sure yet I'm gonna take it in and see what they're going to say or better yet how they're going to fix it. I spent 4200 on a system it was highly recommended That it was the best. Had to replace the amp because it kept overheating. Door speakers blew out smoke in my car. If you don't want a headache, I recommend you do not buy your stereo equipment from this place. I've had to go back six times the last few months and every time I did whatever the reason was they blame me that my car needed to have upgraded alternators back up batteries which they didn't tell me in the beginning when I purchased the system only after I came back with problems they said you need to upgrade. I had them installed an alarm system that gives me an engine warning light. After they install the door speakers for my driver and Pastor side, my windows would not roll up automatically anymore. and then they automatically roll back down by themselves. That was also my fault. I really tried to give them opportunities to fix it and be polite it was so hard. I bet they get people to get equipment in their car that they really don't need just to make the money extra. I'm 110% dissatisfied with this service. I went to big boy customs today, and they rewired and replaced. The two blown speakers that were in the door that was just installed and got me back on the road in a matter of no time. So if anybody's looking for stereo system, reach out to Big boy custom. read more

Got charged $120 to install a backup camera which was a little pricier then most places around but figured they would do a better job because of the reviews. Backup camera works fine no issue but not even 24 hours later the camera wire is hanging in front of the pedal and brake which shows they didn't fasten the extra wire to anything. I called them and they told me to just drive back (1hr round trip from me) without them compensating anything. Just decided to fasten it myself. I've been here twice before (probably around 2014 and 2015) and the service was great, prompt, and reasonably priced. Once I had them install a new head unit, the other time was to simply hide two USB charging cords in the dash. But last week I made an appointment to come in and have another USB cord hidden and install LED headlamps. We set the appt for Thursday afternoon, and I gave him my contact information. Come Thursday, I drove there from Lodi and he told me that an employee had to take his kid to the doctor, so I'd have to reschedule. It was an hour wasted, but these things happen. He could have called me to let me know, but whatever. I called the next day and we reschedule for today (Tuesday afternoon). Well guess what? It happened again. This time, I called right before leaving Lodi and asked if he'd have time for me. He said his employee needed to leave early to take his kid to the doctor (again). He said that if I got there right away he could probably squeeze me in. I wasn't about to take that chance and waste another hour, not when I had an appointment, and especially not when they could have called me to let me know the situation. Instead, I'm heading to a place in Lodi with an equally good score on Yelp. read more

I've been having issues with my HID headlights for some time now and after calling various car audio shops, I finally decided to give Pacific Audio & Video a try. When I contacted other shops, they were all estimating my costs to be about $200...when I called this car audio store, Juan (I believe) was so friendly and had told me it would be about $30 to do a diagnostic on my headlights (where other places were saying $60-100) in addition to the price of whatever service they have to do. When I went in, Juan took care of me right away. After one of the guys looked at the headlights, Juan gave me a couple options. He never pushed any of the options on me; he even gave me a simple, cheap option. However, he did give me a deal on the new LED headlights ($120 instead of $150) and that cost included all the labor and LED kit! I decided to go with putting in the new LED lights because of the convenience and cost. I was in and out right away and walked away very happy with my decision. Just picked up my car an was surprised by the low quality of work at this joint. The stress level and discomfort is at a high in this "facility" coming straight from the oldman to the young buck that run the place. I didn't pay any mind to it when I first got there but then seeing the result of the tint job, I can see how it all correlates. There is so many bubbles on all the windows and there is two scratches on the driver window. One had been covered with a black sharpie. I complained and the young buck said it was my fault because my glass was chipped by one of the scratches. Then I asked what about the other scratch, and he said thats what I should expect for paying $180 for a tint job and not to expect quality!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I came here on 3/31/17 to get an alarm system installed into my vehicle. The gentleman who quoted and greeted me was extremely nice and friendly . I was quoted at 200$ out the door with a Viper alarm system set up. Once the service was complete, I was required to pay $220 out the door and it WAS NOT a viper alarm system , it was a cheaper brand by the name of Avital They were extremely friendly but I did not receive what I was quoted for. Pacific Audio and Video was referred to me by Laila at Laila's Spa. My wife goes to her frequently for facials and skin care. They got talking and Laila said that her husband owns Pacific Audio and Video that also does tinting. We have been putting off tinting my wife's car (Acura TLX) for a year because we did not need to have done right away. When I purchased my Honda Accord Sport in March, I went to Pacific Audio and Video to check it out. I first spoke with the I believe he is the store manager and he was very polite and professional when I asked questions on tint. I mentioned that I was referred to the store from Laila and it so happens Roger (the owner) was standing there too. Roger took over from that point on and provided me more information. I took my Honda Accord in on Saturday afternoon and he took me in right away. His brother did the tint work and he did an awesome job. I love how it looks on my Honda. A week later, I brought in my wife's car (Acura) and Roger took me in right away as well with no appointment. Of course, at the time I arrived, they were not doing a tint job. As I sat in the shop, the store manager answers questions regarding anything from tint to sound systems and I can tell he knows a lot. I recommend Pacific Audio and Video if you need your tint job the right way. Also, when I was waiting for my wife's car for tinting, I was standing behind one of the trucks they were installing two subs and an amp and the guys work are all professional and clean and the sound was awesome. I had an amplifier and sub-woofer that I had taken out of my old car before I sold it and needed to have it put back in to my new car... I have a usual place that I go to in Stockton, and while I know the other place does great work when I called them just to do a simple job like wiring an amp the told me that they couldn't get to it for 3 or 4 days. Seriously? I checked Yelp and found Pacific Audio...I looked through the reviews and saw a bunch of really positive stories about them and decided to give them a chance...when I called them they said even though it was a busy day that they could do it right away and that it would be less than what the other shop had quoted me. I had my reservations since I had never been here and I am picky when it comes to my car but since they had so many great reviews on Yelp I decided to give them a try. Boy am I glad I did. They are located on the corner of Pacific and Harding....down at the end of the Miracle Mile. (The building used to be a muffler place if I remember correctly.) They started work on my car right away...I did a couple errands but decided to stick around for most of the install just because I always like to see how they treat my car. While I was in the shop I started talking to the owner and a couple of the sales guys about how I wanted at some point a newer head unit (the one I had was a couple years old and a Sony) but that I wasn't really prepared to get it done that day. We talked about the specific things I wanted (Kenwood, bluetooth, ect..) and he showed me one that they had with my specific requirements and as much as I wanted it I explained that it was just out of my price range. He gave me some good prices and then I checked online to see how much it was at places like Best Buy and Crutchfield and when I found it lower there they were willing to bring the price down. That convinced me to buy it there that very day. For the same price I would rather spend my money going towards a local business vs a big box like Best Buy. They took their time and did an AMAZING job on my VW Beetle...in fact the single 10 inch sub-woofer sounds better than when I used to have two 12 in subs in my trunk way back in the day. The installation looks flawless, and I had no idea that the head unit I was buying came with bluetooth audio but also a microphone so that I no longer need a bluetooth earpiece. They installed it down by the air conditioner controls but they said if I wasn't happy with it in that location after a week or so of trying it to come in and they would move it to the top middle by my rear-view mirror for no charge. Great job Yelp yet again for finding me a new, local business that I will be happy to recommend to my friends and that I will be using in the future for anything stereo or window tinting related. Thought it would be included in the quote. Quick service was helped and installed immediately. When the install was done I drove off and my turn signals didn't work. I met the owner when I walked in, we chatted about what I wanted, and he gave me a deal I couldn't say no to. Roger absolutely cares about making a customer happy. I had a broken antenna, and while he was willing to do all the work it would take to replace it, he provided a lower cost solution (and actually gave it to me for free when I got a new stereo to go with it). I wouldn't hesitate going here again for any car stereo needs. He has been in the business for a long time, and when this location opened up, he jumped on it. I went here based on the reviews to get my truck tinted. I was quoted 270 over the phone and the price went up to 300 when I got there. When I mentioned the price quoted they honored the 270. The installation of the tint was horrible. There were creases in the tint on every window except 1 of them. This isn't my first car being tinted and I've never had a crease on any of my vehicles but to have creases on 5 of the windows tinted shows they lack a sense of pride in their installations. The worst part was when I took it back to get the entire truck re-tinted. Juan started arguing with me and made it seem as if I was being picky but who wants to be driving a vehicle with creases in their tint?? Then he made a smart ass remark about my truck not starting the first time they tinted it because they left the doors open and the keys in the ignition for 6 hours and killed both my batteries. He claimed the batteries weren't fully charged when I brought the truck in as if he hooked the batteries up to check them. I still have one window with creases that they claim they couldn't re-tint but I'm paying someone else to take care of it. I'm not going back here to deal with this place again. read more
