We were so happy to find Madison and Victor at Pacific Coast Ayurveda (PCA). They are true gems who first focus on the root cause of the health issue. They then diagnose not only the body but also the mind. At the initial consultation Madison & Victor did a deep diagnosis with pulse reading, daily habits, diets, family history and after correlating all the facts, the root cause was identified as Vata imbalance in my body. A 7 Day panchakarma was prescribed for me. Healing process involved traditional methods like Abhyanga with herbal oil, Shirodhara, Anuvasana Vasti, Kashaya Vasti, Netra Vasti, Nasya, Poultice and 10 body Marma therapy. The Treatment :- 1. Detoxified my body. 2. Relaxed my mind. Daily talks with Madison & Victor opened up my thought process and I gained more confidence in my skills and found a clear direction in which to channel my energies. 3. Involved practice of yoga, especially to unblock the Svadhisthana chakra which was identified as one of the reasons for my ailments. 4. Involved consumption of herbal medicines. 5. Tweaks to the diet. They recommended adding certain foods items and removing certain items so as to keep Vata in check. I felt truly rejuvenated after the healing got done. PCA's LA location in Calabasas is away from the big city madness. The atmosphere at PCA is very calming. You feel warmly welcomed as soon as you enter. The treatment room and amenities are very clean. Madison & Victor are very sincere and dedicated to what they are doing. It is not just a job for them. Instead they treat it as an medium to share this nice way of life for the betterment of mankind. I would recommend PCA to all who are looking for a holistic healing.

It's been a year since I started going to Pacific coast and I've learned more about myself and that our healing is our own hands. With the loving care of these two Angelic souls: Madison and Victor. Annie told me I should feel a lot better after 10 days, which I was holding on to because I was about to get married. Within 5-6 days, I finally felt the shift. Previous to this, I was so uncomfortable in my own body. I've been under her care now for a little over 3 weeks and I feel SO MUCH BETTER in my body. I haven't felt this balanced in such a long time. I recommend no level of involvement with this organization. The teacher burnishes his reputation with various certificates and enthronements. I have spoken at length with an extremely high, recognized Tulku who explained that he and others of similar standing do not recognize this man as their teacher. The people described as monks and nuns, as far as I know, take no traditional monastic vows. The teacher does not live on the property. He lives in Maui. He follows popular wellness trends (red light therapy, carnivore diet) and presents them as his own teaching. The organization runs some charitable activity which gives a veneer of legitimacy that does not match what I observed from inside. Over more than a decade, in good faith, I gave a significant amount of money to this organization under the impression that I was supporting charitable work. I was only ever contacted for donations, and I gave on a false and misleading premise - believing I was helping those in need, when in fact much was going towards funding this teacher's lifestyle. Not once was I shown empathy or compassion, even to the extent of "how are you doing?" What I did experience repeatedly, from the teacher and from the attendant staff, was coldness, condescension, and open disdain. Sincere questions were met with dismissal. Students going through hard times were ignored or shamed. The relationship from their side was transactional, one-way, and demeaning. Run from this place.

Here's an update almost a decade after my last review…read more This Place never was finished and is still not open to the public. The empty promise of a retreat and healing center just never came to fruition. On the surface it looks cool with domes, pyramids, crystals, etc. Unfortunately it's a moldy facade of a monastery that's become a strange almost eerie place. Lacking vitality and any clear direction the droning music playing with the staff that appears nice with platitudes and word salad nonsense makes this fringe group and reality even more strange. Not a place I would recommend on any level, Buddhist ? NO not really. Christian- NOPE not Truly. NEW AGE Nonsense where you can give away your hard earned $ $ $ $ $ $ Not a welcoming place or group unless you want to be told what to wear & eat & act and that Gays are Evil etc. All and All weird, strange & Fanatical. Took a good long time to realize what was really going on here, AVOID going down this rabbit hole This is not my spiritual cup of Tea, thumbs down
