While on vacation in Newport over the Christmas holidays we booked three 90 minute deep tissue massages at Pacific Coast Massage, for myself, my husband and our son. All of the massages were wonderful and very relaxing. When we were leaving we were charged an extra $50.00 because my husband and I requested hot stones. When we booked the massages the face page of their website stated that there were complimentary hot basalt stones, when I asked about the extra charge of $50.00 I was told we were charged an extra $25.00 per massage as the complimentary hot stones were "only for a few minutes" not for the entire massage, it was never mentioned that there would be an additional charge, our son also changed his massage from 90 minutes to 60 and I still paid for a 90 minute massage and we tipped each masseuse $50.00. It ended up being a very $$$$ afternoon. I did suggest that they remove " complimentary hot basalt stones" from their website, I see it has since been removed from the face page, however under the "about us" tab it still states that they offer complimentary hot basalt stones, be sure to check to make sure exactly what the charge will be prior to booking your appointment. read more

I had the most wonderful experience working with Robin. My fiancé also had a massage with her daughter Ashley and is equally as impressed, happy and excited as myself! While on vacation I started having shoulder And neck pain even some muscle cramps. I called around and looked at what was available and chose Robin. Robin was great from my first call! She asked me a lot of questions about my pain and even showed me a few stretches over the phone. Mind you I had not paid her a dime yet. I saw her twice over one week. I saw significant improvement in my neck and back. If it wasn't for Robin I think my whole vacation could have been ridden with pain and discomfort. I was on a road trip and having back spasms. Calling ahead I was able to book a 90 minute session with Jaya. She was amazing! Not only did she have a long commute to meet me but she listened and applied the perfect amount of pressure and worked on my problem areas. Thankfully, she was able to fit me into her schedule on short notice a few hours after my call.
