That said, Michael included a number of additional tasks at no extra charge--such as ceiling fan installation, removal of an old satellite dish, and the addition of anti-siphon hose bibs around the house. One piece of advice for homeowners: it's best to purchase your own materials to maintain control over pricing and delivery timelines. Contractors often mark up materials--understandably, as part of their business--but sourcing them yourself can help avoid delays and keep costs transparent. Timeline-wise, Michael started on April 14 with the expectation to finish the flooring by April 30 and wrap up the rest by the end of May. The project was 95% completed by end of May, with a one-week delay on the flooring due to stock issues. All in all, a 5-week timeline would've been achievable if not for the material-related delays, which were handled reasonably by Michael's team. As for quality of work, the LVP and tile installations were excellent. The paint job was acceptable, though we found it a bit inefficient that the painter handled the two small rooms one at a time instead of working in parallel. Some minor details were initially overlooked, but Michael was responsive and had them addressed promptly. One area for improvement: the team did not lay protective coverings over newly installed LVP and marble flooring during painting and caulking, which led to paint and silicone residue that was difficult to clean. I had a very concerning experience with Pacific Construction LLC. Out of nowhere, I received a cold call from someone claiming to be "local" and offering to send someone out to my home for a quote. The problem is, I never reached out to this company or requested any services from them. When I started asking basic questions about their business, such as their website, who they are, and what company would actually be showing up, they were unable to provide clear answers. The caller gave me two website URLs to their website that didn't even work, and when I continued asking for clarification, he became increasingly rude, talked over me, and eventually just hung up. There were multiple red flags throughout the call. They could not clearly identify who would be coming to my home, which is a major concern. It gave the impression that they are not an actual construction company, but rather appointment setters who sell your information to third-party contractors. That would explain why they avoid giving direct answers about who will actually show up. I don't know about others, but there is no way I would allow a company like this into my home. If they can't provide basic, verifiable information about who they are and who they're sending, that's a serious issue. This felt extremely unprofessional and extremely misleading. I would strongly recommend being cautious and asking a lot of questions if you receive a call from them or simply hang up so you can beat them to it, since thats what they will likely do to you. Lastly, the number that they called on is a spoofed number that belonged to someone else, so when I tried calling the person back to ask why he was being rude and hung up but someone else answered and said that they were sick of this company using their phone number to make calls because when someone tries calling them back since they are spoofing that persons number, they call the real owner not the construction company since the construction company is faking it to make them seem local but in reality they are likely overseas. We just moved back to the area and our home had some issues with the flooring. They instantly identified that there was most likely no moisture barrier and that the floor smelled of mildew.
