First visit 'seemingly' went well with Amanda. Some negative aftereffects, but some good too. Second visit took away accomplishment from the first, Amanda and one other. They were supposed to re-do the treatment but decided not to, at my expense. I spoke with Debra and was never allowed to speak with the doctor about anything! I just finished my sixth laser hair removal appointment and cant say enough good things. The staff is always friendly and welcoming! This can be a very awkward appointment but the girls always make me feel comfortable. The appointment literally takes 5 minutes and that's without them rushing. I never experienced any burning or irritation The front office staff was always kind to me so I never experienced any rudeness like some reviews said. They always work around my schedule and have found ways to squeeze me in when I had to cancel last minute. I had to write Dr.Z another review because I'm so happy with these results. I've suffered from TMJ for a while and read that Botox in your masseter muscle could help alleviate pain. I knew people also got botox In the masseter muscle to help define the face more as well (give it a slimmer look) I've always had little chipmunk cheeks, that was cute when I was a child but not as an adult. I decided to do the botox (first time ever) let's say I am so happy! The pain has decreased, and my face also looks more defined. Both photos are unfiltered one was taken the day of getting the Botox the other today. I do have makeup on but you can see a difference! I went for 6 treatments, for a full face laser hair removal treatment. After less than 6 months from the last treatment, I started getting hair follicles in the same area I used to get it prior to the treatment. During treatments: the technicians were always in a hurry to finish and move on; I got burnt on my forehead (I used home treatments with some aloe creams and over time the small scars went off); the different technicians and sometimes the same one could not figure out the laser settings that were used during my prior visits... But, here's the kicker to all this: after speaking with other laser treatment places, I found out that the laser machine De Luz uses, which is the Lumenis, is a diode laser that is not effective at all on brown skin tones with high levels of melanin, which also causes the dark pigment type burns. They should have done the professional thing by advising me that their machines are not suitable for brown skin tones, instead of letting me go through the treatments. read more

I want to give no stars as it is not deserved but yelp is making me before I can post this review. I'm constantly reminded everyday of what De Luz Medical did to my skin, with the scars and the discoloration of the pigmentation that will never be the same again on my arms, shoulders and chest area. I was covered in horrible blisters after receiving a laser treatment for brown spots. Later that day, my arms and chest started getting blisters some small, some large that were oozing through my cloths, it seriously freaked me out because I was seriously covered in them and it was becoming very painful. I immediately. called De Luz Medical to let them know, and I had to go back in and I received burn cream to help with the pain that I was going through. As days, weeks and months went by as I started to heal I looked like I had leprosy and had to wear long sleeve shirts in the middle of summer to hide the horrible damage that was done. I was having to go back for many months which took time away from me for other treatments for them to try and help my skin look somewhat normal again, but it will never ever look that way and I will have to live with this for the rest of my life and it's is something that has been really tough for me and embarrassing. this was absolutely a horrible experience, so please do your homework before you choose a facility to do any aesthetic treatments and make sure it's the right treatment for you before they proceed. read more

The owner comes at you like an old friend who wants you to walk away happy. The various drs and employees that work there seem very professional and the space itself offers exactly what anyone would ever want in a med spa: thoughtful, clean and relaxing. I paid full price but the service was not worth it. I had an appointment to zap bumps/facial flat warts, but they have never given me topical anesthetic. The lady was nice, and offered me some ice to numb & alleviate pain on my face. I have low tolerance to pain and this is the first time I have done it without topical numbing cream. It was sooooo painful! I can do it better at home. Numbing cream is not that expensive, so I do not understand why they did that to me. I even tried the procedure abroad before and even a third world country has topical numbing cream. Will never come back! read more

Update: I still LOVE this place. I got juvederm in my lips today by the Mrs. Doctor and I didn't have any bruising or swelling which is crazy because I normally bruise VERY easily. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I won't go anywhere else now. I am not the type of person that usually writes reviews but I felt like I had to share my story so others can be educated when getting fillers done. My wedding is on 09/28. I got my lips done at another office by a nurse practitioner on 09/05. I told her that I wanted my lips to be natural looking so when I smile in my wedding pictures they wouldn't look like they're non existent. Almost a week later I was not impressed with how my lips looked and I started freaking out because it was 15 days until my wedding. My lips were HUGE and super UNEVEN. I had bruising like no other. It looked like I should have been on the show botched. I booked a facial at De Luz to get dermaplaning done before I even knew my lips needed fixing. I asked them while I was there if they could look at my lips to see what they suggest on how they could be fixed. There are 2 doctors that own the medical spa and they are a husband and wife te. The Mrs Dr Z looked at my face came up with a game plan and then brought in Mr Dr Z for a second opinion. I had TWO doctors look at me to make sure they agreed on how they could fix my face before the wedding. I left super happy with the way the doctors ensured me that I would look beautiful on my wedding day. They told me that I may need to come back in for some more dissolving of the filler but I needed to let the swelling come down some. I called the next day and asked how much it would be to come back and have more dissolved along with the other treatments needed to help with the swelling and I was told an amount that I just couldn't pay because I had already spent $950 on my lips so far.... so I cancelled the appointment. The Dr's found out that I cancelled the appointment and they called me back and told me they they would finish what they started without me having to pay any more. I was in tears, I couldn't believe that someone who doesn't even know me would do something like that for me. Fast forward and we are 4 days until the wedding and my lips look a million times better. I'm not afraid to be seen in public. I will definitely go back to them in the future because they truly care about their clients. They really took the time to get to know me and set up a plan of care so that everything would end up PERFECT!! Back to the dermaplaning..... not very many estheticians do it because it requires taking a "blade" across your face to "shave" all the peach fuzz off so it feels as smooth as a babies butt! Let me tell you..... this was worth every penny. It didn't hurt one bit and was very relaxing. She was so nice and knowledgeable. I already booked another appointment there. Please go to De Luz if you want any cosmetic enhancements or facials. They are highly trained and know what they're doing. I heard about this place through group on. When I started my treatments, I felt like they rushed me in and out of that office in less than five minutes. I will say their prices are great. They have that going for them. I live 45 minutes away and 5 minutes before my appointment they had to reschedule. My laser treatments always hurt really badly, I will post a picture of the rash I got, and the answer was always, "That means that it's working." If you are someone who cares about quality service then do not waste your time or money at this establishment. I will start by saying the nurse who worked with me and the person who helped her are excellent This review is to share the very negative experience I had with the management of this business. When a client arrives for their apt, you should call to let De Luz Aesthetics know you arrived and then they will call you when it's time for you to walk in (this is due to COVID and is understandable and appreciated) there was an issue where for some reason I wasn't receiving their calls. This meant my wait time kept increasing since they weren't able to reach me (very odd) finally I walked in to check what the issue is and how we can resolve it, I was quite frustrated with the lack of help and instead of working with their client to resolve the issue, I was blamed for the issue (told my phone isn't working) and spoken down to and treated in a rude manner. I want to make it very clear here, despite the manner I was treated with and despite my frustration with the situation, I tried my best to remain very respectful and calm. I kept repeating how I want to find a solution and ensure they can reach me next time, but no one cared and they were more concerned with proving that my phone "didn't work" rather than fixing the issue. I was even thinking of complaining to the doctor regarding this incident but decided not to because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and figures maybe the front management was having an off day. When I arrive for my next apt, I'm taken to separate room (not the typical treatment room) then the lady from the front area and the doctor walk in, the lady is standing in front of the door blocking the entrance/exit and the lady and the doctor both have their arms crossed at their chest and the doctor point plank says I wasn't nice to his staff and "you gave us a one star review and I have a reputation to uphold" and said the relationship isn't working. Now it's very important to know that no one from the office reached out to me regarding the whole situation during my last apt or talked to me after said apt. The doctor nor his staff even asked me if I wrote a review or not, he didn't even ask me what happened. If you have a reputation to uphold then the doctor and his management team should learn how to treat their clients, if you have a reputation to uphold then you should make sure you resolve issues that arise in a constructive manner, if you have a reputation to uphold then instead of jumping to conclusions and ambushing your client during their apt you should have the decency and courtesy to understand how to improve your services and rectify the situation instead of behaving in such an extremely unprofessional manner. The way they ambushed me was so uncomfortable and threatening, the entrance being blocked was very uncomfortable, I voiced this concern and they lady did immediately move away from the entrance which I was glad for because I was very distressed and was seriously concerned for my well-being. I got refunded the last sessions that I had left. In conclusion: I was mistreated and felt discriminated against and I'm glad I will never return here. read more

I love this place I started with Laser Hair Surgery for my beard, I was very skeptical about it but it gave me immediate results. For men realistically you need about 10-12 sessions for your beard but I'm on my 4th and very amazed with the results. Normally I shave at 8 am and it starts growing back by 12 pm! I can't shave everyday because it hurts my skin and makes it grow out more so I shave every 2-3 days that nightmare is over. Also I had a mole towards the bottom of my lip, I've been to several major Hospitals and they always talk some medical jargon and I always leave disappointed. De Luz Medical was able to remove it, they numbed the area and used a laser heat pen(sorry don't know the name of it). It's been a week and it turned into a scab which already fell off now the are is smooth and very minimal scaring you would never notice it.
