That tool can be painful in the wrong hands but she did a first rate job and I could tell she really cared that the cleaning was done correctly. Woke up early yesterday with something hard and sharp in my mouth only to find that half of the crown had broken off of one of my back molars. Now I don't know about you, but Hump Day or not, this is still a pretty crummy way to start your morning, especially when you are as dentist-phobic as I am. Fortunately for me, I knew exactly who to call. One quick dial, and I was able to speak with a live person by 6 am to set an appointment, and by 9:00 am that same morning, I was there, bum in chair, getting all numbed up and ready to be worked on. Now is dental work fun? No way! Of course not. I'm not some masochist, for crying out loud. But was this tolerable? Absolutely. And when I got cold and started to shiver from the newly damp Portland fall weather, they immediately brought me a warm blanket to wrap up in. And I was not only allowed, but readily encouraged to rock out to some of my Apple Music on my Air Pods while they worked away. And just before noon rolled around, I walked out of the office with my brand new permanent crown cemented in place and lopsided grin in tow, ready to conquer the world! :) So thank you, Dr Barzangy, Hannah and Matt for another fantastic visit! We truly have to stop meeting like this. And please don't take this personally, but I plan to send out a poll in the near future requesting any pro tips on how to lower the stress level in my life.
