After a terrible experience at another dentist in the area, I was extremely nervous to go back to the dentist. I was recommended Beaverton Dental Center by a friend, and Dr. Truszkowski and his team exceeded my expectations. The office is in an unusual location (and can be difficult to find for the first time), but upon walking in, the receptionist is beyond friendly. My appointments always start on time, and everything that is being done is thoroughly explained beforehand (which I appreciate). My most recent visit resulted in 3 fillings-- the last filling I got (from my prior dentist) resulted in sensitivity for 6+ months, and follow up phone calls that led no where. Needless to say, I was nervous. Dr. Truszkowski did an amazing job... I was back to feeling normal immediately after the anesthetic wore off, and have had no sensitivity or pain following the procedure (that was over a month ago). I also appreciate that the team is very clear in their billing procedures. They give you a detailed cost breakdown based on your insurance, and are able to work with you given what they are able to cover. I can't recommend Beaverton Dental Center enough, looks like I've found my new dentist in the area! read more

I Don't Like Dentist! That being said this dental office is very nice. I was just updated about 2 years ago. I know as it was right when I needed some work to be done. During the drilling there was drilling being concrete drilling being done. That was and interesting experience. This is a professional dental office with a number of dentist working there. It is in the town square mall so you can do some shopping after your done. Its not a fun place, but it is a good place. read more

I went today for a last minute appointment. It was a fantastic experience starting with the interaction with Natalie and her being able to accommodate my urgent need for an appointment and being very understanding. After that I saw Dr.Williams, it was one of my best dental visits experience he was able to fix my crown in the same visit extending my initial evaluation visit. So, I decided to transfer all my records and dental care to their lovely clinic. Is it illegal for your dentist to invent cavities? I went here based on reviews and they seemed ok. On the way out they offered me a Starbucks card and asked for a good review. But that wasn't too suspicious. When they diagnosed two shallow cavities on the sides of my teeth i was confused, but I'd never been lied to by a dentist before. they used the most expensive filler without asking me and it tasted bad for months. when they diagnosed another cabity on the side of my (white, smooth) tooth only a year later I got suspucious and went to see another dentist, one recommended by people I now knew in the area. No cavity. I asked if they were sure and they looked again. No cavity. Beaverton Dental had made it up. There are a lot of workers at the clinic and probably most have no idea there's a scam going on. Be wary. read more

Dr. Thomas Truskowski has been my Dentist for along time. I first met him when he was in Dental School and he's been my Dentist since he graduated. He has a gentle technique and is very professional, not to mention his excellent staff. Always available to help. Several times I have had friends who needed emergency care that couldn't get into their primary Dentist. I told them to call Dr. Tom and he got them right in and they were very satisfied. Best dental office ever! Seriously. For example, i got to my appointment early today, and while in the waiting room, i witnessed the front desk person going above and beyond to help an older couple. The couple was having major trouble accessing their insurance conpany. She worked it out for them, while treating the somewhat confused spouse with respect. Dr. T is great. Being retired and on limited income I called to ask what a new patient charge would be - I was quoted $120 for exam and x rays - no cleaning, which I thought was high based on cleaning being included for that kind of charge for a new patient in my past experience elsewhere, but went with it anyway based on reviews. When I went to pay they charged me $225! I said I had been quoted $120 - girl said oh extra charge was because he took more xrays!!! I paid, but will never go back and will not recommend. read more

It's been a while since I've been to a dentist and this place made me feel right at home. They were able to get me in right away and provided a discount as it was out of pocket work. He explained to me what was needed and took time to diagram the procedures. The staff are friendly and helpful and take time to answer your questions and make recommendations for your dental hygiene. I have been here a few times now...two cleanings and once for fillings. I saw Jeanne for the cleaning, who is really nice and personable. Dr. Williams did my fillings. I had previously been to Green Apple Dental downtown and they said I had 12 cavities to fill with $1200 dollars out of pocket, even with metal fillings in the top. I have never had a cavity before and even though I missed 5 years of dental care while in college, I found 12 cavities a little hard believe (no pain and I'm very hygienic). Dr Williams showed me each of the teeth and said 6 needed to be filled. He sandblasted them. I didn't even need Novocain (other doctor wanted to put me out). Cost me $300 out of pocket. Nancy is one of the office people (I think maybe more than a receptionist). She was very helpful in figuring out my insurance and very easy to work with. **Last note: 3 new Sonicare toothbrush heads = $15. They're $30 everywhere else I've looked. Thanks everyone! read more

Just like most, I don't care too much for the dentist...big shocker right? I also hate dealing with insurance companies because the crap is so damned confusing. My teeth are pretty jacked up and I get nervous everytime on what I need done and what it will cost, cuz lets face it, insurance doesn't cover like we think it should with what they charge us right? well, even for someone like me, this office made me feel comfy and welcomed and that I am not nearly as screwed up as I think of myself to be. Dunno if they are just saying it, or if they mean it...okay, they did mean it, they aren't the types that would blow smoke up my butt, they truly are genuine and want to help. I get freaked out about the cost of things really easy as I have a tight budget, even when I started to freak out a lil during my first visit when they gave me a treatment plan, they assured me that it would be alright and we could do what we can afford and take it one thing at a time. For someone who just see's a giant number at the bottom of the page, that sure did help me from totally losing my shit. I have had 2 appointments so far and must say that I am impressed with the entire staff that I have met, also, it is one of the biggest dental offices I have ever seen. the only downside to them (but i totally understand) they are not open on fridays, can't really blame them there so it isn't truly a downside. so, need a new dentist? make sure you stop in here, take it from me, a fellow human that really doesn't like to go to the dentist. read more

Dr. Tom Truskowski is excellent. He answered my questions about options with the crown I needed. Jessica checked with my dental insurance to make sure the crown would be covered. (I have a new job and hate dealing with insurance). Melissa explained the process and was a reassuring assistant. What I like best is that Dr. Tom does not push treatment on you that does not need to be done immediately. He discusses options and he's happy to show details of the xrays to you. Moreover, Dr. Tom's technique is excellent with no pain. Jessica works with my budget and my insurance to avoid last minute surprises. The office is well run, clean and professional. read more

It's a really new, neat, tidy and clean dental office. They seem to have really state of the art equipment (but what do I know about dental equipment other than it looks clean and new?). I'll start this by saying that am lucky and have very good teeth...I went to this dental office 4 times over the course of a couple years for general cleanings. 3 out of 4 times they were running late except my first appointment (over 15 minutes). Three of those times they also said I had minor hairline fillings that should be sealed which I couldn't see and am really not sure I believed. After 30 years of no issues all the sudden I have 3 in a row. Possible I guess but started feeling a bit like they were reaching for my pocketbooks. So I wait for my cleaning and then am suppose to go straight from the hygentist to the dentist. Nope! Each time I waited again over 30 minutes while the dentist sat in the next room talking to a patient with no walls or doors while I listen to every word staring at the clock. Talk about no privacy! I even switched hygentist's, rescheduled the order of events, earlier apts etc. I gave them many chances to prove that their time isn't more valuable than mine but at the end of the day it's not and I will never go back there. If you like waiting around then this is the office for you. read more

We are so pleased with our experience with the Beaverton Dental Center! We have been under their dental care for over a year now, and are very much impressed with the high standard of professionalism maintained by Dr. Truszkowski and his staff. Dr. Tom is an excellent dentist, who takes care to ensure that each procedure is done perfectly. For example, when fitting crowns he makes sure the fit and color are exactly right - and doesn't hesitate to send them back to the lab for 'fine tuning' if needed. His dental assistants, Melissa, Andrea and Kelsey are the best!. No one loves going to the dentist but Dr. Williams and Nancy (the hygienist) are great! Honestly they are the best dentists I've ever been to. They are so good I referred my husband, my mother in law, and a co-worker there! Nancy is always gentle on my teeth and reassuring. She flosses my teeth at the end and doesn't make me bleed!!!
