The first part of this seem to work very well was willing to help out and get our faucet repaired until our new faucet showed up and we called him to have it put in and he sends a carpenter to do a plumbers job. That's like me sending a bulldozer to repair your house. Very unprofessional and said it would be another few weeks when he got back from vacation to repair this. I said I was pissed off and this was bullshit and then he tells My Husband that since I'm cursing that he would have to charge for the repairs instead of doing them for free as he stated from the beginning. It doesn't matter the charge to me. it matters that the job is done and done, right. Not sending a carpenter who has no clue what he's doing to a plumbers repair. And I as I told him he can shove it up his ass before I hung up on the fool. There's plenty better and more professional services out there than half ass plumbers that send carpenters to do their job just because they're going on vacation very unprofessional. It's a Sunday and I unwittingly plugged up our toilet with a diaper-WHOLE! I thought I'd need to wait until Monday, but lo and behold, the most well-learned man in the plumbing industry, came to our rescue in a span of a few minutes, on a Sunday afternoon with his pet Dalmatian who waited in his van. A wait that lasted just a few, and the cost was well within my budget. Sorry they're not even with a half star. A month ago this service came to look at our extended warranty LG refrigerator Purchased from Lowe's. We were told by the repair guy they would order the part and if it came to us to give them a call. Several calls throughout the ensuing month to Pacific for an update were never returned. We had to buy a new smaller refrigerator to tide us over in the meantime as we waited for something to happen. After a month we contacted Assurance that covered the policy, only to discover they had no record. Hey, you'll never guess. We got a call from Pacific the next day saying the part had been ordered and they would call us when it came in. Then the same day we got an email notice that Assurance had received the claim that same day and approved it immediately. What a joke Pacific is. Someone is not being upfront and it goes right back to Pacific since they are the representatives here contracted with Assurance. Poor business practices, lousy service but a polite repairman. That however does not make up for sheer ineptitude. When choosing a repair service, try any other one before this one first. read more

American Home Shield assigned Pacific Repairs to fix the whirlpool jet tub controller. I had called 4 times and spoke to Art Miller trying to schedule an appointment. After he set the date and time I wanted to provide him with the information to give our security guard for access. However he became extremely agitated for some reason and said "forget it, I'm not doing this job" then hung up. Very unprofessional. read more

We had an emergency clogged pipes situation last night after midnight. I found Art on Yelp and gave him a call, waking him up, but he was super friendly and was out here in 30 minutes. He was able to methodically find the cause of the problem and resolve it. And during the whole process he explained to me what he was doing and why. Art is such a professional and skilled repairman that I've actually put off writing this review because I selfishly wanted to keep him for ourselves- ( knowing that when people read this, he'll be booked SOLID!) Ha! We first encountered Art when he took a referral from our home warranty company years ago. Since then, if my husband can't manage something, we call Art! He is "good peeps" through and through.. And just a few of the jobs he's tackled for us are: painting, laying tile, wood construction, installing and building cabinets, fixing a shower wall leak--I sometimes wonder if there's anything he CAN'T do!!!! So I'm going to do the right thing and share him with you. He often arrives with his trusty steed ( Dalmation dog,"Terk,") by his side! Terk is the nicest, smartest dog I've ever met and he remains in Art's van with food, water and chew toys until his Dad if finished. Oh... and Art's fees are more than reasonable! When my kitchen sink started backing up I needed a plumber as soon as possible. I called 5 different plumbers and couldn't get anyone to come out. Luckily I called Pacific Repair and although Art Miller was on another island he was able to get Tony to come to my house the same day. Tony was friendly, professional, and quickly fixed the problem. The owner, Art Miller, is a real delight...professional, knowledgeable, personable, skillful, efficient and helpful. And a fun sense of humor, too. He came out to replace my garbage disposal, and did a great job. He worked very quickly and cleanly, and left my kitchen just as he found it (clean, lol). So many workers leave a mess behind, but not Art. I highly recommend him. He also found a leak I was unaware of, which I really appreciated learning about. Unqualified and unprofessional as well. Came to fix a leaky sink. In the process of his work he caused damages to the sink and did not hook up the hot water!! Rescheduled for him to come out to correct the work, but he was a NO SHOW. He did not call to cancel or reschedule. Save yourself a headache, don't call Pacific Repair. read more

I finally found a company that does really care about their customers. I contacted Pacific Repairs after trying to get many plumbers to replace a tap for me but I guess the job just wasn't worth their time, I came across Pacific Repairs and emailed them, even though at the time I had no phone service due to it needing repair but this did not phase this company, we just worked sending emails back and forth, but even with this obstacle it was only a matter of about 1 week and I had a new tap and had met the nicest young man who could not do enough for me, a true asset to Pacific Repairs. I wished I had of found this company a long time ago as there are so many different services they offer.
