In fact she explained that she could see me again in 6 months time that I don't have to do anything at this stage. I have found Dr Sun very caring and patient. I was always nervous seeing dentists yet Dr Sun was very gentle and did a fantastic job on my teeth that I didn't feel the pain at all. The cost of my treatment was very reasonable as well. I shall strongly recommend Dr Jessica Sun as our family dentist. On another note I referred a couple of my friends to see Dr Sun and they all had the similar experience like I had. She is gentle, very sweet, listens to you and is very accurate. She did all my procedures, and I was really happy with her work. I highly recommend her! I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes for my appointment. They generally aren't overly booked, so I could always get an appointment within one week. Reception staff is friendly and capable also! Great dental clinic. Highly recommended.

I saw Michelle Yu for a check-up and clean, she was friendly, professional, gentle and best of all I wasn't in there for long! Clean done in 10mins and I was out the door. I am currently in the USA and found a holistic dentist to put the crown back on. They X-rayed the tooth that is underneath the crown and examined the tooth and said it was healthy and not a shred of mercury amalgam. But here is the kicker; the dentist told me to tell Dr. David that the crown was beautiful work! You can't get a better referral than that...right? Another dentist praising your work and wanting you, the dentist, to know they were impressed with your work!! The crown came off so clean and was in perfect condition. Before the dentist glued it on she tried it on and struggled to get it back off, I mean really struggled. So not sure how it came off in the first place...LOL. Also, the tooth underneath was not worse for wear having endured 4 days of exposure. I didn't chew on that side of course but there was no sensitivity. I had a lot of work done with David as my mouth was full of mercury. I have nothing but praise for his work and chairside manner. He is not hard on the eye either!

I was worried that I would have to get the tooth pulled out but it turned out I just needed a clean around the area. The dentist was nice and kept making jokes which made me feel comforatable. It didn't break the bank either cos they put it through my health fund and I didn't have to pay extra. That was nice.

Even if it's just a check up there's all those weird…read morenoises, mini vacuum things, scary objects approaching your mouth while you lie there, incapable of stopping the situation. After I had my wisdom teeth out last year I have been avoiding a check up like the plague. When Sparkle Dental near my house offered a deal for a limited time for a check up, clean and x-ray for free if you have private health insurance, I decided it was time to stop procrastinating. When I enquired about an appointment I was told politely that there was nothing available for at least a month, but wanting to get it out of the way as soon as possible I put my name on the waiting list, and sure enough an appointment freed up for me within a week of enquiring. The staff were lovely and quite gentle. Despite a not-so-subtle attempt to up-sell some teeth whitening to me, it was the most pleasant dental experience I have had to date. It calmed my nerves when I saw that the clinic was immaculately clean. I especially liked the TV above the dentist chair that allowed me to fit in a solid half an hour of Absolutely Fabulous whilst getting my teeth scraped and sucked and pulled around. I would definitely go back to Sparkle Dental and will recommend it to all my friends. Given that there was a special deal on and I didn't have to pay a gap for the service, I'm not sure how much they would regularly charge, but with the service I received I would be happy to pay a little bit extra.

I am a person who needs to know and trust the dentist !!! i attended for check up and clean every 6 months each time a new dentist.... a couple great a couple awful one was at 1pm appt on a Saturday. (In case they look up my appts) well if I could have left I would of because I was a nothing in the chair and all she spoke of was Finnishing the day to go out . the last one was another new one very rough they didn't even have the decency to tell me there'd be another new dentist . when I asked the receptionist said they must have missed me when sending out notifications the other thing was each visit I had to get fillings redone why I ask because what they use doesn't last long. At BOH Dental, I'm more than happy for everyone there to touch my teeth. Well, not the snotty-nosed kid next to me in the waiting room, or the reception staff...OK, anybody with dental qualifications; just so we're clear. So I had a delightful experience visiting this clinic for the first time - the reception staff were friendly and guided me through the obligatory paperwork prior to my appointment. The appointment actually began on time (rare for a dental surgery) and I was ushered into a spacious room, complete with sweeping views across the city. It felt more like a setting for a restaurant, rather than a dentist's (added bonus for those terrified of dentists). My dentist was absolutely lovely, he gave me tips on flossing techniques and we became caught up in a discussion over the benefits of adding fluoride to Brisbane's water supplies. Upon completion of my appointment, he walked me up to the reception desk and said he'd offer me a 20% discount because he was so impressed with my teeth. I'm definitely looking forward to my next check-up in one year!
