They scheduled us months earlier (because when you are good, people will wait for you), and they started on the exact day they promised. They showed up every morning at 7 and brought everything they needed, including their own scaffolding. It is not easy work, but they are machines. On the last day it was incredibly windy / gusty, but they managed to finish the project even though much of it was from scaffolding and on the windy side of the house. They removed hose reels, masked light fixtures and windows, shielded landscaping, painted our gutters and downspouts, and cleaned up at the end of the day. You will not find easier-going, nicer guys. That's probably why you will also not find anybody else that does what they do for as long as they've done it with ALL 5 Star reviews. My only complaint, Eric is waaay too easy to sneak up on (inside joke). You literally can not go wrong with these guys. Aloha, Mark

Reached out on Yelp for painters and luckily came across IE Painting. Eric was very responsive, provided clear communication and a fair price and then executed the entire job from start to finish as proposed. We're happy we used them because not only did they do a good paint job, cleaned up after themselves but we were able to support local and two very nice guys too!

Their price was very competitive with the other bids, and Henry, the estimator, impressed me with his knowledge and willingness to do repairs prior to painting. Several small repairs were needed, and they were happy to do it all! Ryan helped me choose paint colors and even put them on my walls so I could see them "live" and make good choices. He continued to manage the job and truly went out of his way to satisfy my requests, even having special moldings made to match the existing ones in my older home! Gavin headed the paint crew. He was in my house every day for 6 days until the job was done. He was amazing! I cannot say enough about Gavin as a person, and his workmanship. He was professional, easy to talk to, kept me up to date, answered questions as they arose, and did a truly excellent job painting. He did everything as he would want it done himself. He told me that, and then he showed me by doing such careful and exacting work! Mike and Blaze assisted Gavin and proved themselves helpful and skilled as well! Pristine kept their word and came back after the job was done to touch up after the flooring people. Sorry this is such a long review, but I can't say enough about Pristine, especially Henry, Ryan and Gavin!

I called to make sure it was aside like I asked and they said yes come down. So I got there and nothing was saved aside for me. I knew exactly what I wanted and asked them to pull it off the shelves for me please. They started to then got called off of helping me because the manager Lia/Lea/Lie told them to not sell me what I needed. It's too much paper work and they close in half hour. Come back Monday. ‍ I was willing to pay the outrageous prices today. don't worry I won't come back ever. I feel bad for the helpful staff that tried to get me what I needed and out asap. the manager told them not to sell me $600 worth of tools. So I left empty handed. So I went to Haleiwa Ace and got everything I needed without any hassle.

These guys fixed…read moremy walls up so well, were so easy to work with, and did everything I needed at a very reasonable price! I highly recommend Mike and his team for your wall repairs! I uploaded a few before and after photos, of two of my walls but they worked on several more walls! My CMU block walls and drywall had about 50+ holes, a bunch of which were the size of my index finger, many areas of ripped drywall paper, and numerous outlet-sized drywall cutouts that I wanted patched as if they never existed. Mike came over himself, looked at the job, and gave me a price on the spot. A few weeks later he sent John over to do the work. I was on a pretty tight schedule with an upcoming move and Mike really worked around my schedule as best as he could! John was so kind and efficient, and he took care of every single hole and cut out in under 2 hours and got the walls paint ready for me (I painted the walls the following day). I was expecting the work to cost $1,500 plus easily but Mike's did it for under $600 and the quality is on point! I was really worried about the outlet sized cutouts I made for running wires, but John patched them like it was no big deal and that was such a relief! They did such a good job!!! 10/10 highly recommend

My apartment had recently suffered multiple unidentified leaks this past year that has been a…read morenightmare to navigate. I first messaged Mike and other candidates in 2025 when I was gathering quotes for an insurance claim that ultimately got denied. It was very clear that Mike and the team have great workmanship from the photos - this is coming from someone who's seen great drywall work and extremely poor work that I could do better myself. I could tell right off the bat that these were the guys I wanted to work with. The proof was in the "mudding" as I changed scope to account for materials, budget, level 4-5 finish, and paint finish quality. Having to pay out of pocket for an expense I anticipated someone else to cover was a bit of a concern for my wallet. Mike was patient with me and we worked out a price we could agree on by removing items from the scope that might still been in good condition and limiting the amount of work that needed to be done on a bump-out wall next to my shower. John texted me soon after we agreed to move forward and scheduled the work for the following week. He also suggested a change in material (DensShield) from what I had originally requested (blueboard) and I am so grateful to have skilled/experienced teammates to work with that really know what they're doing. Day 1 was demolition, hanging, and mudding. John was finished and out before lunch and I could already tell that the quality of work was spectacular. You couldn't even tell the ceiling was repaired because it was blended in perfectly with the surrounding area. The bump-out wall was looking way better than it was even prior to the water damage. We left the fan on throughout the day and overnight to let the hot mud dry out. Day 2 was sanding, priming, and painting. Fortunately, I purchased and stored paint that was specific to my bathroom from a previous repair and had it at the ready this time around as well. Honestly, when I first discovered the leak, I originally planned to fix it myself so I also had a brand new container of primer. I'm pretty satisfied with the work, especially with the DensShield suggestion and installation in both affected areas to account for future leaks. I didn't know such product existed and the workmanship mudding a material such as DensShield and it essentially coming out nearly flawless is pretty impressive. Overall, I would give Mike's team a solid 9/10. Prompt responses, flexibility in materials/scope, and great quality of work. The quote, as some have mentioned is on the higher side compared to other candidates I'd spoken with, but I learned the last time that you get what you pay for. Could I have gotten it cheaper? 100%. Would it have come out as good? Not sure. The last guy I hired at maybe half the price got the job done, but clearly not done well and that's what got me in this predicament, SO... don't cheap out if you can help it - especially for a bathroom or high-moisture/high-risk area. I'm certain I'll be working with Mike and the team in the future and there are no regrets here as compared to my last drywall adventure. Thank you Mike & John for your patience and hard work.

In answer to that nothing did, we are very satisfied with the job Emerald Painting (EP) performed for us. Finding a painting company you can trust and feel confident the end product will be as good as you hope can be difficult. Our initial contact with EP was through Jonathan where he explained the process, answered all our questions, and then developed a quote. I was very comfortable with him and once we decided to go with EP, over a couple other companies, his responsiveness was outstanding. Once the painting started their focus on quality workmanship was excellent. We had a crew of basically 4 man (Guy, LJohn, Neal, & Derrick). I won't discuss their specific roles but each was professional, dedicated, and friendly. Over the three weeks it took (preparation & painting) it was easy to see their skills and desire to deliver a quality end result. As with any business nothing of quality is done without a topnotch office manager and Ellen is just that, in her own way she made our job happen. If you're looking to get your home painted I can confidently recommend Emerald Painting - Hawaii. Our job was exterior but I'm sure they're just as skilled and focused on the interior of a home as well. Thank You!
