My intake contact was Karla Ortega, she was sweet and friendly and very compassionate to my situation. After I sent the documents to their confidential text line this is where my ordeal began with them. I never received any kind of response letting me know that they got it. I sent over an email to Karla and even called them a few times and left voicemails. Never heard back! My job had sent me back to work and I had needed answers fast so I called again the following week and told the receptionist how frustrated and upset I was that Karla hasn't returned any kind of communication with me. She transferred me to Carlos who told me that Karla was in a meeting and she knew about my case so she would have to get back to me. He scheduled me a phone appointment for 11:30am that day. I wrote a glowing report back in April, and I stand by it. But I have to say that the process is really longer than anticipated, and I'm not getting the medical care I thought I would get. May will be a year, and I'm struggling financially, my workers comp meds have been cut off, the insurance company won't pay my mileage for therapy, and my rent has gone up. I was forced to retire, and only get $1350 month. I have a p/t job, but the weekly pay is less than UI benefits, which I'm disqualified from because of the p/t job. I'm not eligible for govt. assistance because of my retirement. I have to pay a $500 deductible through my job that I cannot afford. So I've had to suffer in pain, and am on the brink of being homeless. I know my lawyers are doing all they can, but I need help soon. My "case manager" is Patricia Gamez and the other guy who is "helping" is Andres. I have a group chat with them and they will not answer my questions. For weeks I have been asking to meet with my attorney Alexandria Dhaliwal. They have yet to let me speak with her. I even emailed her myself and never received a response. I absolutely need a new attorney, please. I have been begging her team to communicate with me and provide me information. I never receive any worthy responses. This most recent inquiry is concerning tomorrows deposition. I have no idea what time it is, how to attend our where to go. I reached out to them many times of the past few weeks. The responses I receive are "we will give you more information closer to time"... Today I sent a request for more information and was told they would contact me no later than 5pm.
