I've reached out on numerous occasions asking them to just make it right. They have not been forthcoming with doing so. My father passed away in March of 2021 and I've been fighting with Dery's funeral home with obtaining a military flag in which my father is entitled to receive. To back up the night my dad passed 2 very young staff members (early 20's) came to get my fathers body. They did not greet us or give us condolences. Upon getting him out the front door they almost dropped him head first out the door and the young man had to catch him. Several days later my sister and i met with one of the funeral directors to go over the signed documents. My father had pre paid for his funerals arrangements. He was a simple man and didn't want any fuss- burn me and bury me was his modo. During that meeting the funeral director asked me if my father had any more $ as he wasn't charged "enough". I was very confused at what he asking us. I told him that no my father wasn't rich but just wanted to keep things simple. He said I will have to talk with and see what we can do but there would be additional charges. I said that this was paid for only 6 months ago and we are aware that cremation fees may change but otherwise it's a signed contract! He leaves us and goes and chats with someone and says we will honor the contract and nothing else will be charged.. My husband went a picked up the urn and paperwork at the end of March and they didn't say anything to him about receiving a flag or even explaining any of the paperwork that was being given. The day of the funeral we were suppose to have military honors and be presented a flag. Neither of those happened. My sister and I were extremely disappointed and angry. When contacting Derys about that following Monday am (they were the ones who suppose to set things up) no one had any idea as to why they didn't show. And told us that a flag was given to us the day we picked up the urn and paperwork. Which we never received at that time nor did we know that's when we were suppose to receive it. My sister called Derys in July and was given the run around that they can't speak with her because she wasn't the contact person. I called later that day and asked about the flag to which i was told we were already given one. I then explained that we were not given one during that time and the funerals I have attended they were given out at the funeral. Donna said she would order one. I called again on 8/19 and I was told that they would again order me a flag and call me when it arrived. I never received a call. I decided to call back 12/10 to check in on the status. I was given the run around AGAIN. Because we did not use their services so we aren't entitled to one now. I had told Donna on the phone that my sister and I are extremely disappointed with the service and care we have received and asked her how are you going to make this right. She told me she would order me a flag and call me when it came in. I asked her why she didn't order one in July when I originally called- to which she had no answer. So basically out of that phone call I have gotten nowhere and beside myself. To a company that should be compassionate and sympathetic to those that are grieving is not something that I received from the start. I will never use their services!

The pickup process at the end of camp was especially disappointing. There was no greeting or acknowledgment from staff, no effort to personally connect with parents, and no discussion whatsoever about the campers' experience or their artwork. It felt disorganized and impersonal. The "gallery walk," which should have been a proud moment, was chaotic and lacked any structure or explanation. We actually didn't know who was a camper or who was an instructor. We were left to wander through the space without context or guidance, which made it hard to fully appreciate what the kids had spent nearly two weeks creating. Socially, the experience was incredibly isolating for my daughter and her friend. Despite being there for 12 days, they struggled to make connections with other campers. It became painfully clear that they were the only ones not from private schools, and unfortunately, they were made to feel like outsiders because of it. The environment was very cliquey, and there seemed to be little to no staff intervention to help bridge those social divides. Had my daughter not had her one friend from home with her, I likely would have brought her home early. There was very little downtime or effort from counselors to create a sense of community. Days were packed with studio time and started extremely early, leaving kids exhausted and with few opportunities to relax or socialize. Team-building activities or any sort of group bonding could have made a huge difference, but those were noticeably absent. Additionally, some of the camp rules were concerning and poorly communicated. One that stood out was the bizarre rule that campers couldn't enter each other's rooms because the staff would "assume they were having sex." For a teen art camp, this kind of messaging felt inappropriate and unnecessarily harsh. To be fair, my daughter enjoyed the off-campus trips and said the food was great. But overall, this was a very expensive camp experience where she felt left out, unwelcomed, and disconnected, despite doing something she truly loves. That is not acceptable. Camp should be a place where kids feel encouraged, supported, and inspired, not judged or excluded. This was a one and done experience for us. We will not be returning, and I would caution other families to look closely at what kind of environment Snow Farm is really fostering.

Richard went completely above and beyond the call of duty and his job description in helping me…read morewhen I moved into my storage shed. I came in by myself (with my pup) in a 20 foot UHaul, intending to unload a tiny house kit weighing thousands of pounds by myself. Richard offered his help without any prompting when I checked in (and I demurred because I'm terrible at accepting help). Then he just walked out once I'd moved the truck to my storage area to offer help again. I really don't know what I would've done if he hadn't helped me, as several of the items definitely shouldn't have been unloaded by one person. Richard spent a good couple hours out there with me on the truck, and he made the job SO much easier and more pleasant. I'm new to the area (I'll be building the tiny house on land I bought less than a year ago), and it was wonderful to experience the sort of kindness to a stranger that Richard showed. If you're Richard's boss and you're reading this, please give him a raise and a promotion immediately. Thanks Richard!

The lingering advantage of the good service regarding any kind of rental is knowing that it will be there down the road if needed. Was in a time push - day before went online - very clear and instructive, easy to manage website. Found what I needed made the reservation in a few minutes. Did the contract and made the payment on line. Few minutes. Within the hour I got a call from Joanne to make sure all was good and to coordinate accessing the unit the following day. Got to meet Joanne the following day - she got me checked in - we unloaded into a nice good sized, clean unit and on the way within a half hour. I had a wedding coming up in 3 weeks and I couldn't wait that long. I called him, and he said no problem, so immediately drove over.Depsite coming in 15 minutes before closing time (a fact I am not proud of) he expertly picked out a suit for me, pinned and ordered me the correct jacket size, and I was out the door. He got it back to me hemmed and tailored in under 2 weeks for a very reasonable price! It was my first time getting a suit, so I had no to completely rely on his expertise, and he did not dissapoint.
