So for the first couple of nights we explored different areas of London to eat and drink. It wasn't until one night when we didn't have plans, that we decided to give Famous 3 Kings a go and I'm so glad we did! First I was amazed at the spaciousness of this pub. There was plenty of seating and TVs for anyone to access. There's a few nooks and cranny's to hide in the event you wanted additional privacy too. We ordered wings, chips, and drinks at the bar. The bartenders were incredibly friendly and accommodating to our group. The food came out soooooo fast too! I was surprised how good the wings were as well. They came with sauce on the side however the wings were perfectly great as they were. Overall Famous 3 Kings can be easily overlooked as a traveler. It's located in a busy area right near a tube entrance which can make it a chaotic area. At least from my experience, Famous 3 Kings is famous for all the right reasons.

By the time it came the chips were cold but at this point we had no time to complain as we had to rush out as the whole thing had taken soooo long. The food and drink options are classic English staples- we all ordered fish n chips and sticky toffee pudding. I'm no English-food expert, but I can say both dishes were pretty mid. The fish was huge, but not crispy... chips were perfectly fried- peas were, well, peas (lol)! But the service was friendly and the whole experience was a good one! Would I come back? The pizza, for one. It may not be the finest, but it's certainly above average, and the caramelised onions on my one a nice touch. The beer is okay too, with the familiar range of lagers (e.g. Kronenberg) boosted by some ales including Timothy Taylor Landlord if I remember correctly. And the staff and atmosphere are very friendly. The customers were a diverse mix of locals. There are a few oddities about the Rylston. One is that despite the claims to serving good coffee, the bar part is very much a sports bar, with big screens on the walls. Another is the bright lighting, with the resulting glare accentuated by the white walls. And then there are the large, black and white framed prints of various rock icons adorning the walls, including several of the Rolling Stones. All rather curious. Still, it's friendly enough, and doubtless a dependable local for those living nearby.
