Now called Embark. One star is generous. This place is a nightmare! I used to go there because it was cheap but it got to the point I couldn't even fix the sloppy clips they were so bad. You get what you pay for, that's for sure. If you love your critters, steer clear of this place! Andi, the owner is beyond RUDE. And most of the good reviews you will find elsewhere are HER making up fake profiles and leaving 5 stars for herself. She's even happy to steal your identity to do it. Never again! read more

Typically we don't have tons of issues here. We've used the company for a about 4 years now with our two dogs. They are one of the cheaper groomers in town and do an adequate job. The company is not known for speed, and the drop off and pickup process even before Covid was terrible. The reason I'm reviewing today is because of the indifference of the front desk and management I received. After a 20 minute wait to drop off this morning, I was told I would receive a call to pickup my dog between 12 and 1. Perfect timing because it covered both mine and my wife's lunches with room to spare. They did not text us until after 2 to let us know they were finished. By then, we were in meetings because of the later time and we picked him up just after 4. They charged us for half of a day boarding because they "had him most of the day". I asked to have it removed because we were there as soon as possible and weren't notified he was ready until after 2 which was after we were told we would be notified to get him. I asked when the fee is assessed and the person at the front desk said I don't know after an hour or so. The manager did not come out to speak to me regarding the issue. If we were given a time of when this fee would have been assessed or if we were told it was a thing at all, we would have made alternate arrangements to have him picked up. When it takes your team 3/4 of your operating hours to groom, you're doing something wrong. As such, we will not be returning. *Edit 11/4/20 The manager or owner Andi followed up after my initial review here, removed the extra charge for boarding and apologized for the experience. She offered a free grooming. I appreciated the offer and the show of good faith for the experience. Today, we called the company to schedule the free grooming, but were advised that until our review was edited, they would be unable to honor the previous offer. We advised that our review wouldn't be changed until we knew we had a better experience. They continued to decline their original offer, so I have now followed through on their request to edit my original review. Rating changed from 2 to 1 stars. read more

This would have been the second time taking my dog to this facility. The first was great. I dropped him off when they told me to and they had him finished early. I did have to wait about 15-20 minutes when I came to pick him up, as no one was up front. They have a front desk and lobby area that is separated from their grooming area and holding area. When they are back in those spaces they have no idea if anyone is up front or not. They do mention to call, but after calling a few times I gave up. I was willing to write this off because I liked the job they did on my little buddy. But this second time was hellish. They have a number you can text-no idea who you are talking to-but they do. I texted the morning or appt to see if I could drop my dog off early. I had a lot going on during the day and knew it would be tight around his appointment time. They said to get him there at his set time. Well, life happened and we ended up being about 20 min late. From about 1:50-2:15 I had tried to text, call, smoke signal to get some attention. I finally got a response when I was 2 minutes away that we could reschedule. Since we were there I figured I'd try anyways. So, I juggle my one year old and my dog until around 3:00 when someone finally came out from the back and ultimately told me that if I would have been there at 2:15 they could have made it work. They had no idea I was even texting anyone or trying to get ahold of someone for an hour. A few suggestions: 1. Communication consistency. 2. Have a bell or direct line to the people in the back if you aren't going to staff the lobby full time. 3. Let people drop off early. This whole mess would have been avoided had I been able to leave my dog a few hours earlier. They have a holding room anyways. I had to get my child and dog back in the car and drive all the way home. I should have just given him a dang bath at home rather than waste 2 hours of my Sunday. read more

Found an add on Craigslist that the owner wrote about an internship. I emailed her and set up a time to meet for this morning at 11:00. On the phone she sounded rude but I played it off. So this morning I got there around 10:40, just to be early. I waited 45 minutes and she never came. The girls who worked behind the desk were nice but I'm upset that I wasted precious time looking for a better job. By the way, they need to clean under their dog food refrigerator. It's collected some serious dust bunnies. read more

This place is cheap, but after a certain point, it's just not worth it. The older lady (presumably the owner) is always rude. Their work is mediocre at best & good luck trying to get an appointment in a timely manner. They are refusing to honor their punchcard, they have changed locations about every year so sometimes it's close & other times it's clear across town. They had so many bad reviews, they took down their Facebook page all together & they have 2 different websites with 2 different business names. The grooming always looks rushed and sloppy. Also two of my friends worked there and had to fight with the owner to get paid!

We have taken our dogs there for a while, they schedule too many dogs at the same time. I had a 10:00 apt and when I got there to drop my dogs off we had to wait out side due to covid, but there were at least 10-15 other people dropping there dogs off at the same time. It always takes them 6-8 hours sometimes loner to groom my 2 dogs. That is ridiculous. I said something to them about taking so long and they put my dogs down and said I could reschedule or go someplace else, RUDE. The owners do not take any accountability for anything. One time I took them there and one of them had to go to an emergency vet the next day, it was on the weekend. They had cut one of the dogs on her neck too short and got an infection, $300.00 later. The next time I took them back I said something to the owner and she said we should have called them right away or the next day . I don't know why, they didn't take any accountability for anything anyway. They are very rude as well. Needless to say I will NOT be going back. I would rather pay a little more then to deal with them. read more

They blocked me on Facebook after putting in a complaint about my dog's haircut! Do not rely on thier reviews on Facebook because they would block anyone who would give them a bad review. The problem is that they would just shave off my dog even when I give them a specific type of cut. I have gave them three chances to make it right and I get the same results each time. After I messaged them on Facebook about the problem they blocked me. Obviously they are not even going to try to resolve the problem = poor customer service and very unprofessional! Thier quaility of work is going down hill from the first visit I had with them. My dog is just shaved and he doesn't even smell like he had been given a bath. They always forget to trim my dogs nails also! The prices seems amazing but it is not worth it! They take about 6 hours to get my dog groomed because they would take a whole batch all at the same time! My appointment would be at 10 and I wouldn't be checked in until 1030 because there's 10 others waiting to be checked in. Not very time efficient. If you have 10 others with the same appointment then start checking people in 30 mins before or something. I am still in shocked that they would block customers from their website just to keep a good star rating in thier Facebook page!! read more

This is the best place for your pet to be groomed if you do not want to feel rushed, remembered for the unique dog that you have, and given the very cut you were wanting despite a complicated situation. read more

I have used Packy and Lars a few times and had good grooming, but the last time my husband picked up my yorkie after grooming, I was very disappointed. The hair on one side of her face was over a inch longer than the other side. Chunks of hair were sticking out on her ears and legs, her nails were not trimmed and her anal glands were not expressed. I didn't get any satisfaction when I called the shop. I just wanted to make sure I would not get the same groomer again. They couldn't even do that for me. They told me the best thing to do would be to cancel my account. read more

They cut my dog's stomach and sealed the cut with glue. They didn't call me or tell me about it until I asked what was on her skin. They rush through a herd of dogs in short time and don't take the time to befriend the dogs they work with. The owner is rude and they really need to clean the place. They did such a bad job that I had to take her to another groomer. The second groomer was horrified by the job they did. And my dog is suddenly terrified of clippers. I cannot recommend this groomer. I began taking my Hava-Poo there about a year ago. At first the haircuts were as requested, then one day it was the absolute opposite of what I wanted. I was not charged for this visit and was given a voucher for the next appointment. OK, anyone can make a mistake. However, her cuts have never been what I would like to have. I believe those who do the actual grooming are not very experienced. read more

Had an appointment at the new location, couldn't find it due to no sign, once we did all doors were locked and you could hear dogs barking. Neither location would answer their phones. WORST SEEVICE EVER. read more
