We had to reschedule a 4 o'clock appointment because of her family matter, which I understand. She had us rescheduled for a 6 o'clock appointment. I explained to her that late in evenings are hard for me, and earlier would be better. I had a brain aneurysm and i struggled mentally when I am tired. She wasn't flexible The only reason I am giving 2 stars, is because she did give us a few helpful tricks that could have taken 10 minutes vs. 2 hours. She should have included my kids.

Her website describes perfectly her attitude and approach to animal behavior and the importance of building a relationship between you and your pet. Linda's Puppy Training introduced us to this basic shift and approach to animal behavior, and the role of a pet in the family. Through private lessons at our home, Linda was able to educate, model, and practice training skills with each person in our family. She was able to observe our different levels of understanding and styles, our interactions with our puppy, Otis, and see the environment in which we live. She respectfully and supportively instructed us in specific moments of interaction and became a valuable resource for our entire family. Linda has years of experience and education, and shares her knowledge in a respectful and considerate way. Linda has accompanied us on a training journey that continues to evolve. We now have plans for Otis. We think about his needs, and consider him, completely differently than we had before working with Linda. We continue to learn, and Linda continues to be available with a genuine interest and love for what she does. In Relation with Dogs is much more that a puppy or dog training course. It is an opportunity to consider a new approach animal (and human) behavior. Linda inspires us to develop positive relationships, establish new habits or modify behavior patterns, and consider that positively reinforcing behavior, certainly doesn't just apply to dogs.

I went went out of town for a week and had to leave behind my 3 year old yellow lab. She loves being around people and has high energy. The staff had taken excellent care of Penny! I had asked that she was visited twice a day and taken out on a RUN! yes, i said run! When I returned the house was just and I had left it and nothing was chewed up by a bored dog! Penny was tired from play and resting when I got home! I would definitely recommend Fun Fitness with Fido for all of your pet service needs. They are excellent!

Since the dog's have been on patrol and signs had been posted, the neighboring business has mentioned, we no longer have had evening visitors lingering around after-hours, due to visible K9's on property and occasional barking from our new Security upgrade. I have been trained alongside the dog's on verbal command's and the dog's have become a valuable asset to my company. Also obtained a twenty percent discount on insurance. I travel for work, sometimes notified at the last minute, and it's so nice to know they're available for me (even if I do e-mail them after their requested 2-week prior window...oops). I appreciate that I'm left notes on each day the sitter visits, with details on Mango's behavior, the state of my apartment, and any concerns they might have that I can follow up on upon my return. From what I read, Mango loves the sitter! It's impressive to me because Mango is a very shy cat and very hesitant to go near strangers, especially anyone who is loud. My sitter, Lisa, must be sweet and soft-spoken for Mango to love her. I feel guilty about leaving Mango when I'm gone, but I'm put at ease by using a sitter. I don't have much experience with hiring pet sitters, but I don't think I could ask for a better one right now. She even sent me a handwritten thank you note for the tip I left her. The boarders name was Lori and she was wonderful, and the dogs did fine at her house. I do not like boarding house dogs where they are kept in rows of kennels, so this was a great option. The reason I only gave this 3 stars is the price. They charge $36 a day PER DOG!! The last kennel we used gave a discount for a 2nd dog in the same family and I wish they would consider something like that. We dropped them off on a Thursday morning, had our daughter pick them up on Sunday at noon because they charge by the hour, and our bill was $259. I also tipped Lori $40 since she only gets a portion of what the company collects. Darn near cost as much as our hotel stay in Chicago for 3 nights! Janis
