This mental health facility has brought me further to true happiness and great mental health than anywhere I have been. I have been in psychiatric treatment ever since my early teenage years and I have been going to Forsight ever since they were PACT Atlanta, over 10 year now. Every single PA I have seen under Todd Antin has been absolutely phenomenal. My current PA is Anthony Campanella and he has by far helped me more than anyone I have ever talked to in my life. He doesn't just give me medication, he talks to me about things and is a wonderful listener. Anytime I have ever found myself in crisis, I have had no trouble getting in touch with somebody to get help ASAP. I know they may have a lot of negative reviews, but you have to take them all with a grain of salt, as we are all mental patients LOL. I have never had ANY of these experiences that people are claiming, and I have a few friends/family who also go to this location. Some people need to remember that you can't wait to call the doctor when you run out of a medication and expect to get it fixed the same day. And of course they have cameras and signs stating that fact, if you have been in psychiatric treatment long enough you will see some crazy things go down from time to time. Anyway, I never thought I could get to a place where I truly feel happy and like I can take on life. They brought me out of my postpartum psychosis and have continued to help me throughout my issues with BPD. I cannot thank them enough. Even when I would show up and didn't have the funds to pay, they would still take care of me and bill me later. They also allowed me to set up a payment plan for as little as $10 a month to help me pay it off. As long as I continue to need mental health treatment, this is where I will stay. read more

This place is the worst. They do not care about their patients at all. I was texted by my pharmacy and told that I had a refill of my lexapro. Went to the pharmacy, they told me (despite the text) that I do not have a refill. PACT did not notify me that I would need an appointment and seeing as it was a Saturday I was unable to contact them. So now it is Monday and I have been off of my lexapro for 3 days. I have called them 10 TIMES to set up an appointment so I can get the f****** medication that I need to LIVE and no one has called me back. If you can help it do not go here. But given the amount of negative reviews it seems like most of us were dumped here by mental health professionals. read more

On my first visit I was required to submit a Urine sample. It was NOT communicated to me that this is for the $2000 test that will be sent out to some hospital and I will be billed a portion for it. When I got the bill, I called to the office and was only verbally told to disregard this bill. No paperwork supporting this statement was provided. The bills keep coming and sound more threatening ("Final Statement", "you have 30 days...", etc. ) No clarity or assistance from the office besides the verbal suggestion "Disregard the bill" I left the message to 2 different administrators, but so far no answers. read more

The medical staff here are transphobic. Not in an in-your-face "I hate you" kind of way, but more like asking really inappropriate and ignorant questions that had nothing to do with my treatment. It made it a really uncomfortable experience, but honestly by the time I saw Dr. Anton (after multiple hours of intake and then sitting in the intake room alone) I was too tired to say anything about it. I also had to really push Dr. Anton to treat my ADHD instead of putting me on a medication for anxiety/depression that I had already tried and had an adverse reaction to. The reality is that I have a lot of experience of managing my own mental health over the years, and I wish he had listened more instead of pushing to treat the anxiety/depression before the ADHD. Every time I go in there I show up 5 to 10 minutes early for my appointment they still make me wait 20 to 40 minutes to see my psychiatrist - Mrs. King. On my first visit with Mrs. King she is casually asking me questions about my history and over the course of 10 minutes she asks me the same question a few different times - Is she not listening? I look to see what's on her computer screen - FACEBOOK. Not kidding. In the waiting room there is all these xeroxed signs posted on the wall saying "This place is under camera surveillance at all times. One or two posted on each wall. What is this all about? Are your patients criminals? Are you worried they're gonna steal a 2009 copy of Highlights magazine? The decor of the waiting room looks like they bought up a yard sale of a seafood restaurant that went out of business in the 80s. It's pretty gross. The other crappy part - getting a prescription refilled. The lady in charge of that department NEVER answers the phone, you have to leave her a voice mail and hope she gets back to you that day. So if you run out of meds - make sure you call them a couple days early. This place needs new management because the people that run this spot really don't care. read more

Avoid this place. PACTATL was already the worst pre-pandemic since you could wait up to three hours before even being seen. They'll pass you around from provider to provider and it's a nightmare because most of them either aren't helpful or can't be effectively helpful because they can't even write scripts. I'm convinced the best provider I had was actually still a grad student who flew the coop after they switched to Foresight mental health's telehealth platform. They also could not write scripts but had to have Dr. Antin do them, which could take a few days. I've also been billed for a provider I have never seen and had to chase the billing department down to remove the bill from my account. I've tried telehealth and still been left in the dark when my appointment hasn't started on time and no one is trying to contact me with an ETA and calling the front desk is a joke because you get the answering machine 75% of the time. The way this practice is managed is unfair to the patients and unfair to the people that came there actually to help. As soon as I find another provider I am out. read more

I was referred to Dr. Antin last year. My first appointment was with an assistant and a $30 copay. The total appointment lasted for 2-3 hours; Dr. Antin came in at the end. Asked a couple of questions & he was gone (I never saw or spoken to him again). They ended up prescribing meds & set me up with another appointment. The next appt...$30 copay... I was told it was to speak with the therapist to start my first session. NOPE! A student came in asking questions & wanted me to be apart of her case study. What?!?! I haven't spoken to an actual therapist. when I refused the case study, the nurse came in to ask about the prescribed meds. At this point I was annoyed. I just got off working a 12 hour night shift to be here talking about meds? You could've called me. Still haven't spoken to a therapist (Robin) I made an appointment last week for Wednesday. Payed a $30 copay AGAIN. I had a 2:30pm appt via phone... 3pm no call... 3:15... no call... 3:30, no call... I called the desk & was told they were trying to contact nurse Jamil D.. At 3:40pm, guess what, he had his student to call me to ask about the medicine. Dude you are well over an hour late & you have your student to call AND I didn't make my appointment with YOU! I asked to speak with a THERAPIST! Needless to say I was done! I didn't speak to Jamil and I never gotten to speak with a therapist after 3-4 appointments but they got my $30 copay & whatever else they ripped my insurance company out of. Now they are trying to give me a hard time about my last $30 copay. And they are trying to say I owe for a missed appointment from Dec 2019. When I left I didn't make an appointment. Yesterday the missed appointment fee was $20, today, she said $25. Of course, the refund lady Aledford was not at work but I left her a message on Monday (When she was at work) and it's Thursday. She never returned my calls. Please, save your money & time with this company. The run around starts with Amber at the front desk to you trying to get your refund back from A. Ledford. DON'T EVER GO THERE. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. This was, by far, the WORST experience I have ever had at a medical facility. I was asked to arrive at 9:30 am for a 10:00 am appointment so that I could fill out new patient paperwork. Reasonable request. I fill out the paperwork and then was called back into a shabby, dirty room where a med student (observed by three additional med students to whom I was not introduced) began to ask me the exact same questions from the questionnaire! What a waste of time. Not to mention that it was extremely uncomfortable answering deeply personal questions in front of a room full of people. After that debacle, the med student leaves and then comes back into the room at 10:15 and tells me that the doctor is too busy to see me right now. When pressed he says it may be 15 more minutes and proceeds to do paperwork. At 10:30 he leaves the room again. At 11 am (my appointment was at 10), I walk out into the hall. He's standing there chatting with the other med students. I announce that I'm leaving and he just says "the doctor is really busy today." When I remind them that my appointment was at 10 am he just shrugs his shoulders and keeps talking to the other students. I was livid. I had taken off of work for this appointment and they had wasted 1 1/2 hours of my time. I was also treated poorly while I was there and felt very disrespected. DON'T EVER GO THERE. I went here for the first time as they were covered under my insurance and my current doctor isn't. When I called, they scheduled me with someone who wasn't the doctor covered, but said it was the same as seeing him and billed under him. When I got there, I had to wait almost four hours just to even SEE a doctor, then was pretty much immediately told I needed to come back and see the doctor I had called to make an appointment for in the first place 2 weeks ago. The staff was nice, but the doctor I saw made me feel very uncomfortable. I'd rather be broke and see a doctor not under my insurance then waste money being passed around from doctor to doctor here. read more

Contrary to the other yelper's experience here, I usually don't have to wait that long (15-25 mins, which is good for most docs) and getting refills is easy as pie. I see Dr. Peturi and she is caring and even funny at times and she always praises me when I'm doing well. The only thing I don't like is the repetitious questions from the Emory interns they ask every time I go. And they're stupid questions like, "are you seeing things that aren't there." ugh. Anyhow,I put up with it because I like Dr. Peturi so much. I recommend this place for anyone who uses a psychiatrist. :) read more

I have been having dTMS (deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) for depression over the past month at Pact Atlanta. I've been working with Joshua Bailey, the TMS coordinator, who also administers the treatment. I have to say that Joshua has been great to work with. He's very consistent & communicative, so I always know exactly what is happening during the treatments and with my treatment plan. He is professional, yet gentle in his care of me. I don't think I can say enough about dTMS, as it has turned off the switch in my brain for depression. I am so thankful for Dr. Samir Patel getting through to my insurance so that my treatment plan has been covered. Can't recommend this practice or this treatment highly enough. read more

The service is fine, and staff is friendly. They have a lot of interns (friendly and professional) so be sure to get all prescriptions, etc because the interns may forget since they are still learning. I spoke to Jamil and he is patient and listens to the needs of the patient. He's willing to change the treatment plan if it doesn't seem to be beneficial and takes the cost of things into consideration when prescribing. They are a busy office, but accommodating. read more

Got to agree with most of the negative reviews. One of the worst practices I've ever been too. You feel like you're on an assembly line. You're rushed in and out even though they're always late. You'll pay full price but often deal with an inexperienced med student. Not much focus on the uniqueness of the individual. Get your pills, don't bother us until your next appointment, pay us. Rinse and repeat. If you're looking for caring treatment providers that see you ,this is definitely not the place. And Antin was one of the worst psychiatrists I've ever seen. I will suggest you find a different place and do not see Dr. Kelley Jenkins. She had me on a medicine that I did not want to take. When I asked to change it, I was disregarded and lied on. I called the office for three weeks to change my medicine and to book an appointment. She made up a story and accused me of using foul language with the staff. This place does not care about their patients. All they care about is pushing pills and getting money. Dr. Kelley Jenkins never called me back after calling her repeatedly. Do not go there. If I could give them no stars I would. I hate this place. I genuinely don't think they care about their patients or what they need. I tried to look past the reviews online, but they're true. They're just this place that pushes out medication with no care in the world. My psychiatrist literally asks me "well what medication do you want to take?" or "wanna try to up the dosage? I think that would be nice? What do you think?" How am I supposed to answer that? I'm the patient. I don't know what medication is best for me. If I knew what was best for me I wouldn't be in your office in the first place. Second, I recently came back after a long time, because I finally realized I need therapy. What's my psychiatrist's response? "Well... I told you that you should be in therapy, and you didn't want to then. You had so many excuses..." then when I told her that's a lie and tried to back petal because even she knew that wasn't true. Also even if I did have excuses I'm literally coming to you for help and admitting that everyone is right and therapy is my next step. Why attempt to shame me when I'm finally accepting help? What's the point in that? They always assume I'm making something up or hiding something from them, but in reality its because the last person that saw me didn't put the information in my notes. Last time I went there I told them I like my medication, but it makes me sick. When I went today my doctor basically accused me of keeping that information from them or making it up... when in reality the last person that saw me clearly has issues including details in their notes. That literally always happens. Not only this the wait some times is insane. It'll take a while before you get the hang of things and learn the best times to make an appointment, because otherwise you will be in the waiting room an hour after your appointment time still waiting. Also don't be surprised if you show up to your appointment someday and they accidentally never made your appointment. You will hear the staff talking loudly about other patients and yourself. There is no privacy. This pale isn't good at all. I would only suggest it if you already know what you need and you just need a doctor to sign the prescription so you can legally get it. Never going back to that place. And trust me that's saying a lot. I'm desperate for help right now and I rather go without it for months to go to a better place than to make myself keeping going back. If you're looking for help please trust these reviews. Don't waste your time and money. Consider going to a place that doesn't ask the patient what medication they want to take as if the patient is a doctor that would even know the answer to that. Terrible office. It's just a sad place. The office voicemail is enough to want to slit your wrists - the most depressing thing I've ever heard. Not to mention, the wait time is insane! I get here early for every appointment and still wait. I only come here because it was the first place I could get an appointment. I am in the process of looking for another doctor. Also - the doctor I use is cold and doesn't seem to care. Just wants to see my to take my money and shove me off on a therapist. She also let's her religious views get in the way of her medical judgements. She's said some things that seem like her personal opinion and not the opinion of a psychiatrist... I've had 3 appointments at PACT and all three visits I waited over an hour after my scheduled appointment to see the doctor. I have never needed counseling before but due to a recent traumatic experience my primary care doctor highly suggested I sought counseling to get through the ordeal from replaying in my head. Anyway, the counselor was no help to my situation, she seemed somewhat snobby and only repeated what I would say. During my session with her I felt like I found the answers for myself after the appointment, since she made me feel awful and suggested that maybe I was over exaggerating because I'm not the only one who has dealt with a similar situation. If you have another option do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. If you don't then be ready to wait for hours. read more

DON"T start going here. I love my PA, Cathy Espey, but the billing department is ATROCIOUS!!! For 6 months now I have been fighting with them over invoices that weren't paid because they did not submit them within the contracted 90 day time frame to my insurance provider. Then they didn't bother to send me an invoice until 5 months from the time of the first service. I have proven to them multiple times that they did not bill within the 90 day contracted period, but they keep billing me for the same dates of service! Also, they NEVER answer the phone or call you back. I tried for 60 days, repeatedly to get the billing manager to call me back, and she has yet to return my phone calls. I finally started leaving messages directly on Dr. Antin's (founder and head honcho) voice mail, and HE calls me back before the billing department does! He should fire the entire administrative staff and start over. Note: this is my first review EVER and I am strictly signing just so I can go on the record and how bad and incompetent this administrative staff and billing department are. UPDATE: PACT Atlanta does not follow medical privacy laws and will post personal information about your appointment on Facebook if you leave them a bad review. BEWARE. I had to threaten a lawsuit to have information about my appointment removed off their Facebook. I should have sued them to put them out of business and prevent others from experiencing the same trauma I did at this sad excuse for a doctor. DO NOT GO HERE. I would give them negative stars if I could. Such a traumatizing experience. After my first appointment, I never went back. I have never had such a horrible experience at a doctors office. I went in with my records to be prescribed the same medication I have been prescribed for 6 years when I was unable to see my previous psychiatrist while he was out of town for a few months. What should have been a quick 1 hour visit turned into 6 hour ordeal that did no benefit to me and caused me to have a panic attack in the office which, they did nothing to help. They just wasted my time and left me in a worse position. They took about 40 minutes for me to even get into an office, then an intern came in and asked me questions for about 45 minutes. Then I was taken in to wait another 10-15 minutes before I had to talk to Dr. Theresa Lane and repeat to her everything I told the intern. She then told me in a snotty and rude tone that I had to take a drug test before I could get my prescriptions - I wasn't aware they operate like a probation office. The bathrooms, waiting room, and exam rooms were disgusting and unsanitary. Every person on the staff was incompetent and rude. The doctor switched my medications which made me suicidal and depressed. They did not return my phone calls in a timely manner or make any attempt to help me during this terrible time. These people are just out to take your money any way they can. I was referred to this practice by an Attorney for an evaluation for professional purposes due to depression. Dr. Antin charged $1,000 via cash or credit card, no insurance coverage is offered for this type of evaluation. He then required that I submit additional labs, show proof of joining support groups, and submit written references from my current employer, all of which I did. Once it was all submitted to him he then asked for an additional $300 "surcharge" to sign off on my evaluation, so that I may continue to work, he claimed it was for his "extra time/hour to complete the paperwork". When I told him I didn't have the extra funds, and that no additional surcharges were ever mentioned at our initial meeting, he then refused to complete my evaluation at all, none of the $1,000 I'd spent was ever refunded, so it was all for nothing. I really needed this documentation to be sent to the Secretary of States office so that I could continue to work while getting help for depression. Dr. Antin is just low down as can be, I will be filing a lawsuit and sending notification of how I was treated to the Medical licensing board. Also when I tried to dispute the charge with my credit card company, he then sent a partial copy of my mental health evaluation to Chase visa, just so they would place the charge back on my card. So now my credit card company knows part of my health information, just do he could justify getting money. read more

Always late to appointments. Overbooked and they don't seem to care. I was once scheduled for an appointment an hour before my provider arrived and they didn't believe me until I pulled up the appointment card I was provided. Nobody there seems to actually care. The only interaction I had with the head of the practice (Todd Antin) was when I filed insurance complaints against the firm for charging for pre-authorization from the insurance companies, something I've never seen done anywhere else. Most recently they canceled an appointment on me the day before it was scheduled. That's what prompted the 1-star. Edit: I've been going to them for 4 years now with no change in my medication, so for them to cancel on me because they can't treat me anymore is absurd. read more

Long waits over an hour are common. You will then be evaluated by a student and they ask all the questions. You will see a doctor for 5 minutes and your kicked out. These people do not care about you! They wanna see as many patients as possible thru out the day so they can make more money. They herd you in and out like cattle in this place. I agree with the first post. Dr. King is the worst psychiatrist, she only wants to push meds and push you out of her office. She asked my 17 year old 1 question a hundred different ways and made a complete diagnosis in 10 mins. The front desk staff is a complete joke. I had to ring the front desk bell 6 times before the young girl would acknowledge me even though i could see her through the window looking at me. Also, watch your bill you are required to pay before you are seen but will still receive a bill and late charges. And lastly the office is old, smelly, with dirty carpet and very small halls. I really liked Dr. David. But after the phone call I just received, I will never be going back. They are so insanely disorganized... I was told I owed money, (two different amounts) and I have no idea what for. I paid my co-pay the last time I was there, so I truthfully have no idea what they are trying to do other than scam me into paying $190 I DO NOT OWE! I'm sorry, but to treat someone who needed help the way they have treated me is absolutely unacceptable and I will never be returning. I am usually a friendly and positive person, so writing a negative review is a first. This place is awful, and if you were my friend asking about this place, I'd turn you away. The wait times are very long, the place is dirty inside, furniture is noticeably breaking apart, and the med students that take you back to ask you 30-40 minutes of questioning don't smile and they're not personable. The nurse practitioner I saw to obtain a prescription was such an idiot, he didn't sign the prescription, and CVS pharmacy called me to tell me that they couldn't fill it. So I'm going to have to return to get it signed.... that's unheard of! Who forgets to sign! You had one job! I am not returning. I am so unhappy with this place. I'm very surprised at the reviews I'm reading. I think this is more a funtion of people who have a bad experience will share it far more readily than if they had a good experience. So I'm posting my great experience at PACT Atlanta. The phone staff was courteous and informative and told me about how to download the new patient forms and fill them out from home. We had a short wait till we were called back and Garnet King was insightful, informative and very helpful in finding the right ADHD medication for my teen that did not negatively affect her appetitie. Again this was our first appointment, but it went as smooth as silk. read more

For some reason I have been going to this place for over a year..I finally just gave up because it has gotten worse. The staff is so rude-in person and especially over the phone. If you have an anxiety disorder or ADHD this office will only make it feel worse! No one ever calls you back-God forbid if you need a prescription. I usually have to wait a good 30 minutes after my appointment time to even see someone. Even the voice on the answering service sounds annoyed and it really sets the tone of how most of the employees in the office act. its ridiculous and I really hope someone that really needs help will seek other care. I don't have too many issues here. I see Dr. Praturi and she's pretty cool. The repetitive questions from the students is only mildly annoying but not a big deal. Everybody has to learn. The thing that caused them to lose a couple of stars from me is trying to get them on the phone. I don't have all day every day to try to sit on the phone to reach them. Sometimes it's taken me a week to be able to get someone to answer the phone. They have sent me balance notices before with a request to call a # to make payment arrangements. Called that number, got voice mail. Left a message as instructed (they tell you to only leave one) and they never called me back. I guess they don't really want the money? read more

This is the worst doctor's office I have EVER worked with regarding billing, returning phone calls. I have literally called for over an hour straight, left voice mails and never get a returned call. The billing / administrative person Angelina has yet to return a phone call over the last 6 weeks, even though all I am trying to do is get them to submit claims to my primary insurance carrier. They do not return the insurance carrier's phone calls. I have 2 insurances, and since they won't bill the primary insurance, then the secondary insurance will not pay. And the Doctor's office wants me to pay out of pocket because they can't be bothered to help me by filing with United Health Care. Also they NEVER answer the phone. IT always goes to voice mail, so you are left to their mercy as to when they call you back. read more

My experience with Clifford Daniels, LCSW, has helped me recover my bearings following a severely stressful period.
