If not she said it would look bad if I waited for her to be available. Ever since then I never heard a word from Vanessa, she was the one I wanted to be working with originally, but it felt as though she had no time to deal with me or my case and just pushed me off to someone else. Horrible experience in dealing with Chandra for our divorce. She doesn't respond to calls or emails…read moreand sides with females. She gave out her cell phone to my ex and would text with her but Chandra would not respond or return my calls. When she did respond to my emails it would by two weeks later. She had shared private conversations, emails and documents with my ex that were supposed to be attorney client privilege. After the first time she shared my info I asked her not to do that again. Then she ended up forwarding an email chain between Chandra and I only with private info to my ex. Many occasions she acted like she was representing my ex and negotiating on her behalf. Chandra would say assets and debts were split 50/50 at the beginning of the mediation but then would change her mind and said I had to pay more. I called her out on this (and other items) and told her that's not what she originally said. She would not give me alternative options on how to take credits for money I paid after the separation but she would always give the ex several options on how she could get more money. Luckily I kept diligent notes and pushed back on all this and fought for what was right. But i should not have had to do that since Chandra is supposed to be independent but acted like she represented my ex. I do not recommend her for mediation.
