Not sure how this place doesn't have health violations, they have dogs running all over, they feed the dogs in the bar and it stinks like dog food and then I stepped in a huge pile of dog poop!! It got all over my shoes, it smelled horrible and was completely and totally disgusting! Dirty nasty place will never be going back! Wish I could give it negative stars. read more

Witnessed a bouncer treating guests extremely rude on Wednesday night 11/26. Would not recommend this place.

This has to be one of my favorite bars in (Mainstrasse) Covington. They are always extremely friendly. The bar itself is pretty small when you first walk in, but they have a few more options of seating in the back and also outside. No food options here, but plenty of food nearby! The drinks are decently priced and they have a full bar to choose from. They also sometimes have a little dog running around to give you plenty of attention during your visit. Fun fact! The beer steins hanging from the bar can be purchased and you can drink from yours each time you come. read more

Most bartenders are 9/10, coupled with an active and outgoing group of bar patrons. Never struggle to get a drink or seat whether inside or outside. Robin was new and extremely polite. read more

My fiancé, some friends, and I were having a fine night at Paddy's. My fiancé was sitting on the outside of the table when a man (with plenty of room) walked by and put his arm around her waist as he did so. She turned around and said 'don't touch me.' He was clearly drunk and turned around and got in her face so I got between them to keep her safe. Turns out he was the owner and wanted us gone after exchanging some words. We were leaving as he was forcefully trying to get past me to her and calling her a bitch. As we got outside and handed the bouncers our drinks, he continued to shout at us. The bouncers ended up having to hold him back from lunging after us while he used countless pieces of profanity towards us. It was clear that the bouncers have had to do this before as they did little to usher us out but we're working overtime to keep him back. His friend even had to apologize for him because he was so out of control. Disappointing that he couldn't apologize for touching a woman like that or take any level of accountability. Even more disappointing that he was the owner of the bar and acted like that. Be careful there, he is a total drunk and a hothead. read more

If you are here visiting from another state or country, this is the first and only place in Covington that you should spend your time at. On November 15th 2024 I did not tip the Bartender for a drink and said I threw a receipt at her after paying for a drink which is a lie Check the cameras. I was also not alone back in the bar because she said this and stood outside with the door guy to make sure I didn't get back inside the bar. read more

Excellent bar with a great atmosphere! Bartenders are friendly and pour a great drink. I immediately felt like I was sitting in an episode of Cheers. The back room is set up with a bunch of TVs chairs and table and games. The outdoor area is very charming with bench seats and tables and chairs. Overall 100% my new favorite location! read more

I recently visited Pattys and was very disappointed with my experience. There were two dogs roaming around the bar--one behind the bar and another outside. I witnessed a situation where a woman tried to move one of the dogs behind the bar for its safety( she did ask the bartender permission) , and the owner reacted by yelling at her, claiming she threw his dog, even though it seemed the dog jumped from her hands. The owner then chased the woman out of the bar, calling her names, and continued yelling at her outside. The bartender seemed unfazed, saying this type of incident happens regularly. I'm very disturbed by the owner's behavior and the language he used. To top it off, he eventually left the bar drunk with the dogs. Due to this experience, I won't be returning. read more

You can get a beer anywhere in Covington I wouldn't recommend getting one here, we didn't enjoy the place and the people working there.
