I have been going to this establishment for over 15 years and for the longest time and until I started to sell things had very good experiences. The three employees (including the manager) are very helpful and are willing to help you get to a reasonable payout if you're trading and price when you're buying. The store has a good amount of inventory at hard to beat prices. My problems start with the owner. To explain this best I have been trading in things here for a while now trying to declutter my house for my mental health. I didn't want to just give it away nor have the space to do a yard sale, so I go to page 3 to get at least a little for what is usually a lot. Last time I came, the owner (who basically does all trade ins if he is there) was there and looked through my stuff, as he is done and says there is not much he is interested in (fair) he said he would do a couple dollars for the things he picked out (once again fair) but as he looks through my discs he hits them against a glass case which is not good for either the glass case or discs. Note he did not buy the discs,they were not his, I asked politely please do not hit my things against the table, he said he did not and I didn't think more of it. Then I asked for help looking for a game and he said if it's not on the shelf we don't have it, I tried to explain my eyesight wasn't the best that day and may need help, which was absolutely shrugged off. After that (yes there is more) I picked up a few games and asked if I could trade the two games for the two items I had and asked how much the sports games were, I asked the question about the two games and was shot down immediately then asked about one and was shot down again,not even told how much it would be after my trade credit was applied which wasn't even told to me at the time. Then I asked about the sports games, and he once again hit the games against the counter and said $10 which isn't terrible but I felt disrespected and when he went to another customer I grabbed my stuff including what I had intended on trading and left the premises. I think I was treated this way because I haven't used cash in a while and have only used trade credit to get my items which is unacceptable when the store only gets merchandise FROM trades and it is a tough time to use cash and after I had shopped from this store for YEARS. I still plan to shop at this store for the atmosphere and assortment of pop culture items and video games but I do not recommend dealing with the owne read more

An amazing hobby/retro game store with a large selection of other memorabilia. I recently went there and was able to buy a few DS games for an amazing price, and I was also able to purchase a few packages of Topps football cards. I had an overall great experience here. read more

I stopped buying anything there years ago because of a terrible experience. me and a friend went to another comic place and he got the last copy of a new ongoing series, that was the last copy they had so they suggested page 3. we went there asked about it and was told yeah it's over there I went and got it and page 3 tried to charge me 10.99 saying it was gold edition, I laughed and said my friend bout it at another place for cover price. I was called a liar. I asked if I could prove it with receipt and comic that they were the same. was told ok and if I was right I would get for cover price. my friend got the comic with receipt in the other stores bag, they said yeah it looks identical to one we Stole. the comic was put in the bag and we left and I'll Never do business there again read more

After 20 years of living in Southeast kentucky I decided to go to page 3 for the first time. I was blown away by the vast selection of video games, board games, toys and movies, but what really shined for me was the fantastic atmosphere that the employees and regular customers created. They were friendly, nice and very informative. One of the regulars even invited me to play a board game if I had time in which I obliged and had a blast! They not only did all this but also informed me of all their weekday and weekend events such as board game nights, Friday night magic, war machine nights and etc. When asked about D&D they were kind enough to show me to a flyer with an individuals name and number looking for a group. I honestly couldn't ask for more in a hobby store. The last review complains about prices, but with any hobby store you're going to see a % increase on products which is normal for hobby stores in general. If you want to buy online then go online and buy, but if you want to support a fantastic store with employees that want to be the best they can be for their customers then buy locally. read more

Page-3 customers service are willing to be sure that you are satisfied with what you are looking for or what you want out of comics or toys that relate to comics such as characters toys. They priced all of the items very reasonably and stock some of things that the comic fans are looking for. Only negative I have for Page-3 is that the store is almost no handicap accessible, surely a wheelchair can get inside the store but browsing experience for the people in wheelchair are very limited because the store did not spaced their shelves of comics far enough for a room for the wheelchair-bounded people to access. I suggests to space around the store more to accommodate us people who are wheelchair-bounded. read more

When in pikeville and wither your a major nerd or a causal gamer than page three is the place...large selection of games, especially board games which is my specialty. They always have up to date game board selections at a fare and reasonable price...they are willing to work with local business like our library, they were willing to give use discounts towards our programs and awesome deals for free comic book day...my only complaint is sometimes the workers seem arrogant, like you don't have a clue what your talking about and only they do, kind of a put down, but no biggy to me, I know what's right and what's not when it comes to my hobbies, so if you complain about prices know your stuff before hand...anyway awesome atmosphere, awesome gaming groups, awesome store... read more

I love this place. I've been going to Page 3 for years, and I still go at least twice a week. I grew up assuming that there were stores in every town like this one, and I was sorely disappointed to find out I was wrong! The selection of merchandise at Page 3 is mind-boggling! They have everything from Japanese Candy to video games to sports cards to action figures and much, much more. Everything at Page 3 is fairly priced. The things that I've found that were overpriced were simply mistakes that the employees jumped on to fix. It's also important to note that they're locally owned (only one store), and they proudly price match. The best part about Page 3 is the staff. They are fun to be around! I feel like the staff is what people EXPECT to find at game stores and comic book stores around the nation and don't always get. They are helpful, friendly, and know what they're talking about. Page 3's Gamezone starts out like a beautiful dream the quickly disintegrates into a nightmare. When you first walk into the store you'll be blown away by their vast selection of comics, movies, toys, video games, and much more; however upon further inspection you will see some flaws. First of all, I hope you weren't planning on buying actually buying anything because almost everything in this store is grossly overpriced. Take for example: Super Smash Brothers for Nintendo 64 a "rare" game. This game averages around $40-50 online but if you go to Page 3 expect to be paying anywhere from $60-70. You'll find that most games here are like this. Board games aren't much better and also will make you break the bank, although they are not as overpriced compared to video games. Another thing that stuck out to me about this store is that they are openly selling bootleg and unlicensed video games (which are also over priced) such as Earthbound for NES (a game that was never released in the United States) and a couple zelda games that aren't even real. I found this strange. Overall, in my opinion, this store is a cool place to go to and look at but if I actually want to buy something I'll stick to shopping online and not going broke. read more
