The abundance of bad ratings make it clear that my experience was not an isolated incident, but rather a pattern here and it ain't pretty. Here are a few examples of how incompetent these clowns are. Guy comes out, measures the area to be carpeted but FORGETS to place an order for one of the rooms. They eventually removed the old carpet, but discovered they didn't have the new carpet so they just left nails sticking out of the ground creating a very dangerous situation. The same doofus, who measured a hallway, got the measurements so wrong it was laughable. Especially when you considered prior to coming out I gave him the measurements I had made to use as a double check for his work. I stressed the importance of getting in the missing carpet ASAP. When they finally get it in they FORGET to call me and tell me it has arrived. So I was waiting for the carpet while it was sitting around in the warehouse. I got tired of waiting for them to call so I checked myself only to discover "Oh yeah, we got that in" So buyer beware, do not purchase from these guys. There's lots of other options available. If you end up buying anyway, you can't say you weren't warned.

The initial salesman that we encountered was Chuck Thomas, and he was extremely informative. The neighbors recommended a different salesman, and he showed up in the middle of our conversation and took over. We actually ended up going with the recommendation that Chuck had. We worked with the other salesman for pricing and installation. We special ordered our flooring and knew it would be a couple weeks. I called one week in advance and scheduled for install and was told it would be OK. The day of installation nobody showed up and there was no phone calls. I called the salesman who told me my phone was not accepting phone calls. Said our flooring was not in stock yet and he would call me back with an install date, which never happened. Then blocked my phone number or stopped responding to my two additional text messages that I sent. We went into Rite Rug due to no response and no call back from the salesman, and encountered Chuck Thomas again, who actually took the time to sit down with us, look at our account, and see what the holdup was. He informed us that we were, in fact, already scheduled for install (which we were not informed of by the previous salesman), he reviewed our entire account, submitted our credit that was due to our account due to a difference in square footage coverage, that also was not addressed by the previous salesman. He reviewed the install supplies and added some things that were missing. He then printed everything out for us along with writing down the install date and his initials. The installation crew were absolutely amazing. The floors are beautiful. We highly recommend Rite Rug but even more so we highly, highly recommend Chuck Thomas.

We've called no less than ten times in the last month. We still have no estimate for the project. ​​I've never seen anything like this in my life. If I can't trust you to return a call, how can I trust you with my home? One would think Rite Rug wants to sell flooring, but apparently not. Don't waste your time with this store.
