Stopped in without a reservation for an impromptu date night. They had a one way system set up to…read morecomply with new covid rules, sanitation station, and disposable menus. The track and trace was easy as well! Service was good, though a bit slow at times (but we don't fault them because most places are since there are so many more procedures to adhere to these days for health and safety). The crispy duck salad was much more filling than I anticipated, and the crème brûlée portions were about double what they are at most other places. We left stuffed and satisfied! I particularly enjoyed my cocktails (blood orange and passion fruit collins) which were definitely not stingy on the alcohol and went down a little too smoothly. We'll definitely be back!

One area a restaurant which, on this day, was fully booked and couldn't accept non reservations. However people were guided to the bar area where food, from the same menu, was served. We were only in for a drink but the food coming out the kitchen looked delicious. Checking out the menu prices are a little higher than regular 'pubs' but well worth it for the quality and quantity. I only wish we lived nearer as we certainly would make regular visits. I will keep it in mind next time we are down the area.

I went here twice during my two week stay in East Grinstead, and it never disappointed me. The food…read moreis great, the service is good, and the interior is beautifully modern and crowded with happy people chatting while sipping red wine. I ordered calamari and the mushroom risotto the first time, and crab cakes (in the most delicious cream sauce ever) with a side of gratinated potatoes the second time. Both meals were super fresh and not too heavy at all. Also try the prawn pizza if you're a pizza person - it was great. I'm definitely coming back to Prezzo the next time I'm in England!

The bun was poor, similar to MacDonalds, the chips were non eventful, they had no dressing for the salad and when I asked for mustard or horseradish for the burger I was told that they don't do them. I should have refused to pay but being a meek UK citizen I duly paid the bill and the service charge but will never visit a Prezzo again. Selling burgers but no serving mustard - hopeless. East Grinstead is a wasteland for decent eateries as we walked all over the old town and found no decent looking pubs with gardens and all the restaurants were much of a muchness - Prezzo seems to be the place to take the kids. Yuk
