The menus is constantly changing but very delightful and plenty of options. The desserts are specially good. Try the coconut flan or the chocolate cake. The staff is super friendly and happy to help in any way. They greet frequents by name and are always looking to make your experience as comfortable as possible. If the place is small but it's clean and feels like you are eating a home made meal. There is parking at the restaurant and a bar next door. Good place to go when in Aguadilla.

For drinks we had a watermelon-lime cocktail and a ginger-lime cocktail, and both were great - flavorful and balanced. We also had the jalapeno cheese dip appetizer which was very tasty! For dinner, I had the grouper over mashed potatoes with a side of grilled veggies. The fish was not fresh - my guess is it was frozen, thawed and sauteed, resulting in a mushy/very soft texture and limp appearance. Potatoes were ok, a little bland; grilled veggies were fine, but I would have preferred them even more grilled with char marks. My husband had the breaded pork chop with local rice, and Israeli salad which was cucumbers and tomatoes. The chop had a sweet onion sauce on it that he didn't care for, but everything else was good. We also had desserts - ginger flan and guava cheesecake - both were excellent, and I would visit again just for dessert! Our server was excellent - attentive, friendly, efficient, and when we provided feedback on the meal, she was gracious and let us know in the future we can ask for different sauces to suit our preferences. We easily found parking in the lot just in front of the restaurant, and even though the restaurant was busy upon arrival, we were offered seats at the bar while we waited, and within 5 min we had a table. I included a pic of the menu to show the impressive diversity of entrées. Definitely lots of options, and the most veggie dishes of any restaurant we visited in 5 days in the area. I think this is a good place for a group with diners who have diverse tastes and/or food preferences, as it feels like there's definitely something for everyone.

A Hidden Gem That Took My Breath Away!…read more Let me tell you -- I have eaten at some incredible places around the world, but THIS spot? It's on another level! From the very first spoonful of their Asopado de Gandules (pigeon peas soup with rice), my taste buds threw a full-blown fiesta! Every bite was like a warm Caribbean hug -- rich, comforting, and bursting with flavor that only true island soul food can deliver. And then... the tostones made from pana (breadfruit). OH. MY. GOODNESS. Crispy, golden perfection on the outside, soft and savory on the inside -- it was pure magic. Whoever thought to make tostones from pana deserves a culinary crown . The service? Flawless. Friendly smiles, genuine warmth, and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like family. And the view -- breathtaking! Imagine savoring these unforgettable flavors while surrounded by tropical beauty that looks straight out of a postcard. This place isn't just a restaurant -- it's an experience. Food for the soul, joy for the heart, and a memory I'll be talking about for years.

Aalyah, thank you so much for making our last meal in San Juan so special!! The portions are huge! I split an app with 3 people and honestly the main dishes can be split among two people as well. It was very tasty especially the chicken, and the ribs! The place also looked amazing and we were given a semi-private room for such a large group. Thanks for having us!!

I sat at the bar, and the staff absolutely made the night. Insanely nice and receptive, they talked with me the entire time, made recommendations, walked me through the dishes and the culture behind them, and kept the strong drinks coming, which I will never complain about. That kind of hospitality is rare and I can't say enough about it. Now for my one nitpick, and this is a me problem more than a them problem: I don't totally love Puerto Rican food. This is authentic comida criolla, which pulls from Caribbean, Latin American, and Spanish influences all at once, and my picky palate keeps asking what exactly it's trying to be. But the vibes, the people, and the setting made the whole experience more than worth it. Come for the criollo cooking, stay for one of the warmest rooms in San Juan.

Sitting outside facing the Atlantic Ocean with the cool ocean breeze was such a beautiful and peaceful experience. The views alone made the stop worthwhile, but I was pleased with the entire experience. The service was great from start to finish. For appetizers, I ordered the Chicharrones de Pollo, which were flavorful and crispy. I also tried one of the mozzarella sticks, but it didn't have that satisfying cheese pull I was hoping for. My man ordered the shrimp mofongo and really enjoyed it, while my brother-in-law was very happy with his snapper fish. For my entree, I chose the Mofongo Relleno de Pollo, a mashed plantain mofongo topped with chicken, and it was delicious. The portion was decent and packed with flavor. For dessert I tried the guava flan. While the flavor was nice, the texture was a bit too tough for my liking. Overall, the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the oceanfront views were absolutely amazing. If you're passing by the area, Playa Brava is definitely worth stopping by for a meal and a chance to enjoy the scenery.
