Just finding this place.. so relaxing with beautiful views and friendly and welcoming staff. Will be back!

Another one bites the dust, from the Cooperstown Beverage Trail. Stopped by and was impressed with such decor from nature. I would definitely recommend this place and would most definitely come back again.

Very nice place the staff very friendly had great conversations the place was closing soon but they did are tasting and we got a free magnet very clean

Outdoor seating right after the rain

Great place for Sangria. The white sangria was the best which they had limited supply of. We bought many bags of red sangria and other bottles of wine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Wish we spent more time here.

This place is off the beaten path and I am so glad to have discovered this place! A very quaint and tiny place, they serve up some damn good wine. They have a $6 tasting for all the wines they make, which is about 7 or 8 I think. The man giving us the tastings was so nice and very informed about the wines! After our tasting we were able to purchase a bottle and sit outside to enjoy the beautiful view. The property is beautiful! There's a little pond with chairs overlooking it and you can stroll through the vines. It makes me think of a perfect destination for an engagement photo shoot! I was a little shocked at how much I fell in love with this place with all the beautiful scenery and amazing wine. If you go to Cooperstown this place is a must! It's a bit of a trek but it's worth it!

Came here with some friends and enjoyed it BUT... When we first came in, they told us right off the bat that we couldn't purchase any bottled sangria cause they were totally out, but we could purchase a glass of it. We were pretty bummed that it was sold out cause the sangria was definitely our favorite.. but we accepted it and decided to purchase other bottles. They kept insisting on giving us the recipe for it cause it's apparently really simple to make but we said no thanks. Only a few minutes later, we heard them offer to bottle the sangria for a different group of people... Like how are you going to tell us that you're totally out but then tell other people that you can make it for them... WE CAN HEAR YOU. They told US it was sold out but told the OTHER PEOPLE they could just make a bottle in the back...wth. After hearing this me and my friends told them we wanted bottles too and they didn't say no but they weren't exactly nice about it. I understand that they must've been running low but don't offer it to other people if you're not going to have enough for the ones who asked for it first.

We had a very good experience at this winery. Loved the presentation of the tasting and knowledge of the attendant.

There's a market with farm fresh goods, including some of the best cider (including adult versions) I've ever had and a killer cider slushy. They have different snack options, mainly fruits, baked good and desserts in the market, as well as more traditional lunch options. Everything was tasty and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our orders on the back deck, outside and under some shade. I'd recommend this as an afternoon diversion if you're in the area, or looking for something that multiple people in a group can enjoy.

The store had lots of their local items to purchase. I picked up a pumpkin mix, sweet vadalia onion dressing. My husband and I got wine slushies (strawberry bliss & apple raspberry both delicious). We went outside and grab lunch ( Ray's brother BBQ didn't open until 4p). My husband got Jamaica jerk chicken sandwich and I got the hot pot roast with horseradish sauce. We made it a meal and upgraded to mac n cheese, drink and slice pie of choice( apple or strawberry rhubarb). The food was surprisingly good, my husband enjoyed his sandwich and my pot roast was flavorful before I put the horseradish on it. The Mac n cheese was good, made with their Mill-Aged, Extra-Sharp NYS Cheddar. Overall it was a decent find, not too much in the area. The store is worth it to stop in.

When we checked in, we were greeted warmly. I really appreciated help with my bag up the somewhat steep & narrow stairs. (No elevator - so keep that in mind if you come to stay.) Bed was firm, bathrooms were spotless, extra pillows in the closet are sealed in plastic, bedding all super fresh. Phone chargers next to the bed & sofa(bed) & solid wifi made this quaint & cozy room connected. Full length mirror, hair dryer & an iron & ironing board were much appreciated. Our 2nd floor room was very quiet & the blackout drapes on all windows plus the split ac & heat controls made everything adjustable for a perfectly cavelike environment. Hello solid night's sleep! A small fridge in the room had little Coffeemate creamers for the in-room coffee maker, but there is always a coffee & tea station downstairs too. The town is literally across the street! The Baseball Hall of Fame & the Farmers Museum are both a block & a half away, and in between are several spirits shops, baseball stores, restaurants and a bakery. Breakfast is 8am-9:30am & it is a nice offering: Oatmeal packets, cold cereals & milk Sausage & pepper frittata - custardy! Corn muffins (a must try!) Yogurts Fruit salad Heidelberg wheat, raisin & sunflower seed bread slices (& toaster) Coffee & tea station Orange, ruby grapefruit & cranberry juices Jams, butter, & condiments If you're coming to town & prefer a close stay to the sights here, & a smaller inn experience, this is the place to be! The inn has a selection of cycling-related accessories to purchase also.

It's a small batch farm winery and OMG they have the wines dialed in! Whites, reds, fruity, cooking, dry, sweet... so much variety and the grapes are actually grown here too - not just bought somewhere else and processed. It amazes me how many options and varieties they continue to offer! There's a whole better experience have a tasting when the maker is the one serving and can tell you EVERYTHING about it. One of my most favorite things about the wines here is that I never get a headache. These wines are not overloaded with sulfites like the bulk wines at distributors and stores. Their prices continue to stay in the 10's to teens range even though it apparently makes it harder to keep things running at a time everyone is tightening their wallets with everything else costing more. When it comes to owner-operated wineries, Hummingbird Hills Winery is a whole new level in quality and enjoyment when expertise meets love and passion in wine making, which is why my wife and I keep making the trip here to re-taste and restock. They've even added an off-grid getaway cabin on their property nestled up on a hilltop in an old apple orchard that they list as The Nests at Hummingbird Hills. It's so quiet there and with so little light pollution the stars during the night are amazing!

Quality: While I didn't fall in love with any particular wine at Hummingbird Hills Winery, the experience gave me a greater appreciation for the creativity and challenges involved in the process. They had a few standard white and red wines, but the menu is filled with lots of fruit wines and specialty wines. Bink's Blackberry Burst was a highlight of the fruit wines, really capturing the blackberry flavor. The speciality wines are even more unique, Goofy Garlic Ginger, Hummingbird Coco Red, and Lion's Tooth Blend, which is a Dandelion Wine. Each one with a cool story and history. Quantity: Wine Tasting came with seven selections, and we ended up trying a few more. Value: $10 for a Wine Tasting. Ambiance: Hummingbird Hills Winery is located in upstate New York, not too far from Albany. They have a large property where they grow their own grapes, and flowers. The tasting room is in a large building. It has bars on both sides with plenty of stools for guests to utilize. Reusable boards and markers allow guests to make their selections so the process moves smoothly. The rest of the tasting room is full of local food items and crafts. Crowd: Several other couples and one family enjoying tastings. Service: Incredible, two passionate and creative individuals running this winery. Parking: The snow forced them to move parking away from their main buildings and near a garage.
